Thank you very much! I'm from Denmark, and reading something as what you just wrote make me proud to be danish, because I think you're right. Two years ago a lesbian won in X-Factor in Denmark, and I heard that she was the first lesbian, who has ever won in X-Factor.. Worldwide! So, I'm proud of being dane, and it makes me so happy to read, that there are other people in the world, who see Denmark as I see it! I like you!!! 12 Points from Denmark (Scandinavia, Europe)!!
I love the song and voice. This and Belarus' Koldun were my favorites. Then Moldova, Poland and Switzerland. Denmark deserved a place in the final with this great song.
Yeah, he was/is! His name is David Boyd and he's half American, half Danish. He won a dancing competetion here in Denmark and I guess that's why he got to be in the ESC. He's hot and really talented too! Loved when he blinked at the camera! :-D Nice little detail!
I'm proud to be danish and to say that this song is from my home country. But... I think I would be scared if I saw this on my television. But the first time I heard this before the euro vision I loved it!
Lyrically, in my view, it is not the best song ever made but what I do like about it is that it shows what kind of tolerance the average Danish person exhibits. That being said, the comments below do not exhibit much tolerance. What I consider to be embarrassing is when people flaunt their ignorance and lack of education. If those qualities appeal to you, it is not too late to emigrate to the United States of America.
People who can't see the beauty of art and the strength of being one self should not comment in here... This is at professionel piece of art and I'm pround of the Danish song... :O)
I just wanna say: I love Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and many other countries... in those places people see the rest of the people as human beings... no matter their ages, appareance, sexual prefecence... the most important is the passion and talent. Many countries are still in the past... but I think, someday everybody will be able to acept and love each other through what We really are! I like it!!! 12 points from Venezuela (South America)!!
This is a great song,I collect Univision songs,sometimes the winners don't make it on my c.d. collection and like in this case songs that didn't make it in the finals they do in my collection.
Love this song. And makes me smile. Every one should take other people as they are. Also DQ, and other are hetoeroseksuels, and s on. They'e still human beeings.
I think the fact that Denmark took this song to represent the country to millions of people across the world is a great signal of the great development of the danish people, wether is for the acceptance of travesti singers, or for the alternative of don't caring about the contest (which is getting crappier by the year...)
brilliant sing. If he is gay r not...I accept him for who he is. Very well put together and lovely rythem. I had a friend who had a friend who was gay and i kinda fell for him but i was ok with it. sexual preferences with me dont matter. we are who we are
Hi! I'm from Poland (central Europe), I think that so many east european countries din't deserve a place in the final, a specially Bulgaria, Moldova and Georgia. Of course I would like to see my polish song in the final, but Denmark, Holland and Andorra deserved they deserved a place in the final!!!! What hapend, well know...
@wade8zero He got in on a wild card His song didn't even qualify for the danish ESC. He got in because a danish radio station picked him and some other songs that didn't qualify and gave them a wildcard.
I like it, but Verka is far, far, FAR superior, I agree. He should have won Eurovision, it's a crime that he didn't. LASHA TUMBAI! My username is no coincidence- it's a tribute to Verka Serduchka.
Think it's pretty cool doing that for pretty much whole europe, like saying "the hell do I care what you think?" Not a fan of the song, or show, BUT still think it's cool he did it
this song was used in Miss international queen 2009 held in thailand as one of the production number, those tranvistites from thailand perform far better than this. Watch miss international queen 2009 part 3 then compare.
You forgot.. Norway, Sweden, Finland, Austria and Iceland.. but i think the countries that have been taking part for more then 20 yrs should be treated different these inc... Greece, Cyprus, Israel and Turkey (it's only fare..?)

Not so hard to understand when only easteuropean countries went through to the final 2007.
Not as good as Verka, but still very good, and a travesty that he did not make the final. More drag queens in ESC, PLEASE! By the way, did you know that Verka may be in ESC again in 2009- representing the UK?
@DninK isnt it a GOOD thing that denmark should be recognized as one of the most liberal countries..? cause thats how i know it, and entries like that only further prove that

Of course I would like to see my polish song in the final, but Denmark, Holland and Andorra deserved they deserved a place in the final!!!! What hapend, well know...

@wade8zero
He got in on a wild card
His song didn't even qualify for the danish ESC.

Not so hard to understand when only easteuropean countries went through to the final 2007.
How can you doubt that ? Well it's obvious that you have not seen Drag Queen before.
@andrewlawrence2209 jep.
Not as good as Verka, but still very good, and a travesty that he did not make the final. More drag queens in ESC, PLEASE! By the way, did you know that Verka may be in ESC again in 2009- representing the UK?
