KC scored two in the first without hitting the ball out of the infield, and then made that stand up the rest of the game. Remarkable.
How Quickly The Orioles Ship Sank. Lost all those players. 2014 seems like a long long time ago.
Makes me sad as an O's fan. :( I always come back to revisit the highlights of this series and wonder how we couldn't even win 1 of the 4 close games in this series
If Manny And Chris Davis were healthy you probably would have won this series
Con Pop that’s an excuse they won the division with Machado injured and Chris Davis out. KC outplayed them with speed and athleticism timely hits. The short reliever and closer were outstanding. That’s it

10 years later, both teams meet again
Os played tough with a patchwork team. Cant believe we got swept. Pearce at 1st, Flaherty at 3rd, Joseph catching. All scrappy lunch pale guys, loved Markakis, Cruz, Hardy with a badass bullpen Oday, Miller and Britton. Then the soft primadonnas took over with Davis, Machado and Jones and the team sank into the obyss.

This was dejecting for we poor citizens of Birdland, but one of the closest sweeps I've ever seen. Every game was hotly contested with a play here and there or a bounce the other way it could've been 2-2 by game 4..KC won fair and square but the sweep doesn't tell the story
