I would say yellow is actually the easiest, if you practice the bouncy castle just a little bit it’s actually somewhat helpful because they put you near the place where you put things.

Lots of people don’t know this, but if you stand on a rock in Purple’s Lair, he can’t catch you. You just have to wait for a loud smack sound once you get on one, which means he/she is gone, and then you can keep running.

You can avoid purple by crouching while you walk through his lair, it makes it so you’re too short for him to reach you (just don’t crouch on the rocks because he can reach you)
Also if you're crouching, keep moving or else he gets you if you stop.

Even tho Cyan is the hardest (I've never met her since I haven't gone to far in Rainbow Friends since I leave when there's not a lot of people left), she's my favorite since I honestly think she's cute, and being the only female monster in this game, that's what makes her unique towards my eyes.

I honestly think green should be the hardest monster. yes, green is blind and very slow, but he blocks the way many times, which makes it hard to get an item and he could even block your way at a dead end. green could also get you when your in a box. *please remember that this is just my opinion, and i died mostly by green.*

Good opinion but he sucks by himself and honestly don’t see how you die to him a lot he is usually not even within a close premier of me but I see where your coming from I use the zip line a lot to scope specifically green becuase of how op and insane he is when he teams up against me with the other monsters I use it to avoid him and make sure I can’t die to him so yea I see where you coming from he is for sure not the easiest that goes to yellow and maybe purple but I don’t see how he’s better than blue or cyan becuase when he’s alone he does nothing
For purple, just jump on the rocks when you see her/him. And yellow can help you to get away from monsters or scope the map for the things you need!

6. Green: He is blind, but has a small sound.
5. Orange: Just Box Up In Chapter 1, chapter 2 is just, he’s not in the main game.
4. Purple: Chapter 1: Go though the footsteps, Chapter 2: JU-JU-JUST CROUCH.
3. Yellow: You have a 2nd chance after getting caught, just land on the bouncy castle, Also he can save you, it’s rare though.
2. Blue: You need to box up, while blue does not see you, also got faster in chapter 2.
1. Cyan: She can sense you, if you’re in a box, she is also the fastest.
The OG Yellow, Red, Pink, and the scientist/old man, because OG yellow and pink are cancelled and Red and The Old Man is not a monster.
Orange is pretty easy to avoid in my opinion.
Also Green can be tough if paired with blue. You can't leave your box, but green will get you if you don't.
Edit: in Purple's maze he can't get u if you're crouching
Purple does get you if you crouch if you stop moving. It works but if you stop, he gets you anyways
my honest opinion from easiest to hardest would be :
yellow : can be used as a escape goat if your trapped since they take a second to find their nest. if you are above the bouncy house, you can drop down and your safe.
orange : is pretty simple just stay out of the orange spiky line throughout the map and be in a box or locker or hole in the wall and your good.
blue : is sorta easy because you can still outrun them. you can just go into a locker or go behind something and get in a box or go in one of the holes in the wall.
purple : can be unpredictable on where they will go first and which way. to avoid them just go onto one of the rocks and try to be quick with moving.
cyan : she can smell. all you need to do is get in a box and don't move if they are near. if you move you will be smelt by cyan and will be a main target if you move a lot.
green : can be very annoying because they can block ANY part of the map ( ex. one of the entrances to the front of laser tag ) which makes them hard to avoid. basically if you are in a box or out of box and touch them you die.

My rank from easiest to hardest:
1. Purple- In chapter one just use the footsteps and in chapter 2 just crouch
2. Yellow- He's like an easier version of blue. Just hide in a box and even if you do get caught, you have a second chance at living. This is close to purple.
3. Green- Even though he's easy to doge and is slow, he's one of the only monsters a box won't save you from. He often blocks some really important places and it can be because of him blocking the way, that last Lookie can't be found!
4. Blue- This is really close to green, but I made him a bit harder because he's all around the map, yet all you have to do is hide in a box. He also got faster in chapter 2.
5. Orange- Same reason as you basically, he can spot you from far away and you can't really outrun him, so around orange just leave the room.
6. Cyan- This is probably my favorite rainbow friend but I have to put her as the hardest also for the same reason as you. You can't outrun her and she can spot you in the box. The best thing you can do to avoid her is hide in a box but don't move. And in the chase scene, just don't look at cyan and focus on getting to the exit.
Alright guys, long comment alert so if you guys don’t like long analyses, you might as well ignore this comment. That should scare off a few of you.
If I had to rank them in my opinion, also keep in mind some Rainbow Friends’ AI has changed since Chapter 1 so I will have to specify which Chapter I am talking about, also those who’s AI didn’t change or didn’t show up in Chapter 1 will not specify.
Easiest to hardest:
-Red (Chapter 1) and Red (Chapter 2) tied for 12th and 11th
These two don’t even show up during gameplay 💀
-Yellow 10th
Yellow is the easiest (that actually shows up during gameplay) in my opinion because he can literally save you, some people get captured by him on purpose in order to get to the item deposit
-Orange (Chapter 2) 9th
He shows up once in Chapter 2 during the minecart chase where you just dodge out of the way but at least he doesn’t save you from other Rainbow Friends
-Purple (Chapter 1) 8th
You can just walk around the water, also there is one area where you can go through a hole in the wall to skip attempting to go around the water entirely. Also you will barely see Purple anyway because Purple chooses one specific vent to hang around for about a minute meaning the other vents don’t need to be avoided for ages
-Green (Chapter 2) 7th
Green was mainly useful for blocking hallways in Chapter 1 but since Chapter 2 is a really open area, you will never once feel threatened by Green
-Purple (Chapter 2) 6th
I see why people find Purple in Chapter 2 fairly hard but even then, they still appear in one tiny area plus you can just stand on the rocks and wait until they go away to make your escape. You don’t have to go in that area often as well
-Blue (Chapter 1) 5th
Night 5 was easy because he is so slow so Night 1-4 was his best bet and he still didn’t do very well because his AI makes it so that he needs glasses because my guy can not see anything slightly far away. There are many corners you can hide around in Chapter 1 so you can just box while he isn’t looking at make your escape
-Orange (Chapter 1) 4th
This guy is a hungry lad and due to not many items being in Orange’s cave, you are likely not going to go in there and fill up his bowl meaning he will pretty much always come out of his cave and chase you down. He has a wide line of sight making him better than Blue in Chapter 1 and he is a lot faster than the player. The cycle starts really late and ends really quickly, plus you can tell where Orange will run through due to the line on the ground but you might be unboxed when Orange runs through the area (due to you not hearing his footsteps over that loud alarm)
-Green (Chapter 1) 3rd 🥉
Green, a literal blind, slow hallway blocker takes home the bronze medal and also is the hardest in Chapter 1 (HOW!!!) well you see Green’s footsteps can be heard from far away and are at almost the same volume as his close up footsteps meaning you might not expect him appearing out of nowhere. Sometimes you might get impatient of waiting for Green to get out of the way so you have to resort to running under his arm and if he pulls down his arm at that time, things won’t end well. Just try not to get stuck in a hallway between Green and Blue otherwise you are most likely a goner
-Blue (Chapter 2) 2nd 🥈
He isn’t that much faster than in Chapter 1 but even that slight speed boost does wonders for his difficulty in Chapter 2. Since Blue is slightly faster, Blue will often start chasing players meaning players might accidentally lead him into more players. Also if you box in front of Blue in Chapter 1, you still have a lot of time to unbox and find a different area however if you box in front of Blue in Chapter 2, he will immediately start heading towards your box and defeat you on the spot
-Cyan 1st 🥇
Cyan has the least flaws out of everyone. Cyan is the fastest and also you can not move in a box near her otherwise she will give you a game over. Don’t think about running away from her, just immediately box, don’t move and you are golden. However if Green stops by, that can make for a pretty great combo. Sometimes you may not see Cyan and get in her line of sight by accident and at that point, it is pretty hard to escape from her

I’m surprised you got cyans gender right! When I first played ch2, I thought yellow was blue but faster, but now that I played it more yellow is quite easy, I was on yt and a thumbnail spiked cyans design for me =(

My list and reasoning:
Yellow (easiest) good traversal if your in a tight spot can actually escape
Green annoying when he stands in the path easiest to maneuver around
Blue all you have to do is go in your box outspeed him quite easy
Orange don’t get caught lacking wait in your box until trail is gone
Purple specifically in chapter 1 he’ll pick the vent at the wrong time when getting chased or catches you off guard
Cyan (hardest) can’t move while in box or outside so your forced to stand still (items may disappear) or run out of his sight which could lead into another monster
Can't be seen by cyan and run or he gets faster and kills u
Orange(chapter 2) is easy
I think where the rainbow friends shine is when they are together and they work together, like the green and cyan duo, we all know if green moves you HAVE to get out of his way, but cyan not only prevents you from getting out of your box but also from moving inside your box. This is why I think yellow is the easiest monster because he is terrible in a team and many players purposely get caught my him to escape the other friends. But still a good video.

I've only played rainbow friends for two days, and I started a day ago. I've got to say how agreeable your tier list is! The game in itself is easy but long and needs some thought to strategize it.
Quick reminder:If you get caught by yellow and you have those little heads(Forgot it's name),you need to press the jump button TWICE to leave,since you drop the thing first,then you drop

Easiest
1 - Yellow - I sometimes purposely get caught so I can just humiliate him
2 - Blue - Just yellow but you die if you walk into hi,
3 - Green - normally blue corners me when I find him
4 - Purple - Just crouch on the rocks. He only got 4 bc the others are easier.
5 - Orange - Caught me off the first time in chapter 1.
6 - Cyan - Can see you in box and can hear you.

My ranking:
1) Cyan - Just like in the video she is pretty fast and basically an improved version of blue
2) Blue - I may not have died to blue much but he is still a threat especially in chapter 2
3) Orange - I would put orange above blue if he appeared in chapter 2 as everyone knows chapter 2 is harder meaning he can work better with other monsters
4) Purple - Purple is very simple in chapter 1 and chapter 2, personally I've never died to him before but hes definitely better than yellow and green
5) Green - green is really easy and can be avoided easily, however still better than yellow
6) Yellow - The main reason I put yellow at the bottom of this list is because he does not have guaranteed death like all the other rainbow friends and a worse version of blue, most of the time he helps people survive

Here's my list:
1 Yellow: Yellow is easy because when he reaches and catches you, you can just land on the bounce house and you'll be okay.
2 Green: There are actually 2 easy ways to get past Green. One, he has arm swing pattern. One arm is up and one arm is down. So you can run (crawling increases accuracy) under the arm that's up. Or just wait.
3 Purple (Chapter 1) : Now how purple number 3 when he's easier? Well the walking space is kind of small and yeah.
4 Cyan: Cyan is pretty easy its like Blue but an upgrade. She can sense you moving like Lychee said so don't move when she's near and you'll be fine.
5 Blue: Now Blue is kind of difficult to me because he's all over the map! But you just have to hide in the box so yeah.
6 Purple (Chapter 2): Purple is kinda hard not knowing where he's at and his pattern is kinda mixed so yeah.
7 Orange: Now Orange is the HARDEST character to survive. you don't know where he's at knowing he's SOMEWHERE! And having to get his complete the hour, along with keeping track tryna feed him!
Ouick tip for purple(chapter 2): you can survive him while crouching so yea bruh

All monsters in a Nutshell
Blue: The mascot of the game. If you're afraid of him, just hide in a box.
Green: People go under his arms as if he isn't there, he's slow, he can't see you, & you can easily tell if he's close. The only thing that this guy has is that he can get you in a box, but purple still does a better job.
Orange: He's only a threat in chapter 1. Go in a box or feed him if you're scared of him. And unlike the other monsters, you should be scared of his sheer speed in chapter 1.
Purple: All he does is make you walk in a specific way at a specific area. That's all. Also, boxes don't work against him. As for the chapter 2 version, just run away or get on a rock.
Yellow: This guy is nuisance or a help. Everybody knows to jump off when you're above the bouncy castle. If you don't want to go there, he's a nuisance. If you do want to go there or you're being cornered by this monster and another, being caught is a help. I also love how he grabs if you're in a building, slams you to the ground once you guys get out, & flies you to your death place.
Cyan: She's just Blue 2.0. She's faster but she comes nowhere to close to the speed of Orange. And the main thing that makes her unique isn't even threatening. I would make her chase you if you move even ONCE in a box. Most people would get out of the box asap and start running for their lives while screaming at the top of their lungs if Cyan was like that.
Red: Is this guy a genius or an imbecile? He's genius in the regard that he knew we were gonna use the drill. He's imbecile in the regard that he mistakes fireworks for actual explosives.
Opinions for Chapter 3: It should include Orange, Yellow, Cyan, & the new monsters. These monsters are used the least, but can do the most. Cyan can easily replace Blue and Green. Orange's sheer speed can't be replaced. And Yellow is just so unique as a monster. I would honestly love the game if they made you explore the map to find spots that'll allow you to survive yellow.

I do not agree with orange to believe I personally think orange should be right after yellow due to him being easy: you know where he will be pass by everytime and he can’t see you in the box even though he’s fast it doesn’t compensate chapter 2 he has like 5 seconds of screen time and is easy too
Well the thing is that Orange kills you no matter what. Yellow can not only be evaded after being caught but is useful in most cases, too. You can use him as a fast travel, a way to scan from the air for items, or to escape situations where you normally would die. Say this, Green is about to bump into you. You would just move out of the way but Cyan is watching you like a hawk. Then, Yellow runs by chasing another player. You have 3 options. A. Hope Green moves his arm so that you don't get killed in the box, you pretty much are gaurenteed to die. B. Get out of the box and run, Cyan will problably catch you since she's faster than you, and Green is blocking a good chunk of the area for you to run to to hide. C. Get out of the box, and let Yellow catch you, and now you just land in the bouncy house to survive, rather than get a pretty much promised death. If you were in this situation, but you'r cornered by Green and Blue, and you can't escape, Orange can't run by, pick you up, and not have you get your face eaten. Orange would kill you, too.

guys some people don’t know this but when you’re in purple’s lair, just crouch and purple won’t hurt you! purple may follow you but it won’t kill you!
Personally I would have easiest 1 as purple followed by orange and yellow and then green blue and cyan as the hardest. The reason I bumped up green is because how easily he can stop you from going places and basically can 100% cause another rainbow friend to kill you plus he gets you in a box which is terrifying because the box is invincible to every other rainbow friend. Purple is probably the easiest with the paths in the first game making it super easy to avoid purple and the second chapter has rocks for you to avoid purple plus he’s kinda slow easy to out run.

You can actually avoid purple in chapter 2 by just crouching. He can’t get you then.

1st Cyan : she never eaten me
2nd yellow : you can survive
3rd purple : if you sit he can't chach you
4th Green : he's blind but if another monster is in the same time there (you have eaten)
5th blue : he show up all the time

Orange was in the railway cart chase in chapter 2, he was just extremely easy to avoid.
my list:
yellow: its easy, when your getting carried by yellow just jump into the bouncyhouse and your safe.
blue: he mainly focuses on going to npc mode if you hide in a box. (example: i went into a box while blue was chasing me and he activated his npc mode.)
orange: just stay out of his way and dont let him see you when your outside of a box/locker.
green: he can block ways and kill you while in a box.
cyan: she senses you in the box and is the second fastest.
purple: he chases you and is the fastest, theres 2 methods to prevent purple from killing you: standing on the rocks in his lair, and crouching.
My Easiest to the Hardest Rainbow Friend :
The big Lookie: I know I can say he did nothing but this isn't true. He don't let us out, but maybe he is harder when attact us I don't know.
Yellow: I can save myself by him and it isn't so hard to avoid him. BUT he can be hard when you have a stupid phone.
Purple: He/She was in Chapter One only in the vents and I need to watch out of the water. In Chapter Two He/She is a little bit harder, but if we crouch we are save by him/her.

Cyan: Yes, You have read it. Cyan is FOR ME pretty easy because she don't scare me that much. When I see her I go out of the box and run away from her. ( For all who think we can't outrun her. We CAN outrun her. I don't joke butaybe we can't outrun her if you have a stupid phone ) But She can be hard when Green is here too.
The next one are the Lookies: They are hard because we can only collect One and We can't hide in a box with them.
The next one is Orange: He is the ONLY Rainbow Friend we CAN'T outrun. He is actually hard because we HAVE to hide, but the fact that we can feed him makes him easier.
I know everyone will don't agree with me but the next one is Blue: Yes I kniw we can Outrun him and hide in the Box from him. But actually he is harder than Cyan ( Is just my Mind ) He is everywhere and one Time he and Cyan had catch me ( Cyan was in the right and Blue in the left ) and that is the reason he is always in my place.
The next one is GREEN!!: I know he is blind and he is slow. But He is harder than I've writed. He always blocks you and he can catch you in the box. And the worst is he is pretty good at teaming. Like the Green and Cyan doe.
The last one is Red: I know he is just in the cutscenes but we NEVER escaped from him and his friends. I know we escaped from Blue and Cyan but not from Red. He will always find us again and try to kill us and make this challenges.

Easiest:Yellow. He gives you second chances and some people run into him but he is one of the vicious ones tho
Purple. You just need to crouch in the lair and even all the monsters cant get you while you crouching in the lair but if your crouching while going on a rock say goodbye friend
Next is Blue. He is really basic just BOX or LOCKER just look out for the red mark on your head while your in a box it means you been seen and your dead
Orange is next. Because just dont go on his line or dont be in your box because he will see you but lockers and crouching spaces will save you and when the alarm is off after it went on it meant that he is heading to his hideout not he went there.
Cyan is next. Because you just dont move in your box but she is fast and hard to dodge
And the hardest iss GREEN! We all know how much pain green causes us especially when you are next to cyan and green

Blue: he was slow in the first game and he kinda became faster in the second but the fact that you can hide from him easily is something.
Orange: he's fast but you can easily know where he come.
Yellow: you can escape him by hiding in a box or jumping in the bouncing castle.
Purple: you can easily avoid him in both chapters.
Cyan: she's fast and she can kill if you move in your box but you can still escape her.
Hardest: Green: he's blind sure but he pops out of nowhere and can kill you in your box.
another way to survive purple in chapter 2 is to either stand on one of the rocks until he leaves or crouch. trust me, purple cannot kill you while crouching.

She can sense only if u move twice in a box cuz if she sense moving she stares at the box if u move again she will kill u or if u tum she will chase u getting faster and faster if u manage to escape in the mini safe zones she gives up and start roaming around
When yellow chase you and a other monster example:blue and yellow. Just try to and then you can fly and land in bouncy castle instead of get killed by blue
All characters easiest to hardest and some important reasons:
1 Yellow (he literally doesn’t kill u instantly around the whole game but the end)
2 Green (he can’t see u and only slowly walks around and blocks paths)
3 Purple (don’t step on wet part of floor next to the vent in chapter 1 or get off the snow pile in chapter 2)
4 Blue (u should be kinda used to it)
5 Orange (he’s very fast and u usually can’t escape him in chapter 1 and chases u in roller coaster ride)
6 Cyan (bro sense u while in a box)

1. Orange(in chap 2) u just see him in the cart ride, and it's pretty easy to avoid him
2.Purple(in chap 2) U can just crouch
3.Yellow u can still have a second chance to survive him by jumping off him to on the trampoline

Green(in chap 2) you can just avoid him easily,but u can't survive him with a box, but on the last level(where cyan appears) its pretty difficult because cyan is in front of green but u can't move cuz cyan will detect u and green is right behind her so ur dead by green(&plus its the most powerful duo)
5.Blue u can avoid him by using a box, ur still faster than him
6.Cyan she is really fast and u can't move in ur box while ur in her sight,plus as mentioned with green they are the most difficult duo.
Btw red doesn't count cuz he doesn't want to kill u(technically yes because he created the rainbow friends&released them to kill us), but maybe we will have a boss fight with him in chap 3??

For me, green is actually the hardest. I always die to him. I know how to avoid the others, but like, green sneaks up on you. Ill be going into blues castle, and then he just walks out of it and gets me lol

I feel like green didn't get enough credit... He's huge, and I feel like he's always right there in the places you're about to go to.
I've been trapped by him a ton of times with his leg literally one centimeter away from me... and he can camp you for like forever.
