Something people don't get. Dollars aren't property. Forget money in the bank. Real estate is real, but Dollars are transitory. I was a property manager for over 30 years. When I 11:30 started buying homes for myself but didn't want to maintain them so I started a lease to own program. I now have 9 and am selling off those that default, which also provides liquidity in the portfolio. I have one mortgage that is much smaller than the mortgage I offered to another property. This defers capital gains, which can be a burden

I'm from India, and I understand how fortunate Americans are to have the gift of not just the fixed rate loan, but also professional property managers. Here we have 30-year loans too, but not at a fixed rate. And we have no concept of property managers to take the hard work off your hands. My friend in the US follows Adiel and owns 7 homes now.

Excellent presentation! As one who has owned rental homes (but as short term rentals in resort areas) I totally agree.
However, you lost me at the idea of creating wealth for my heirs. I am only two months away from 80, and I am doing my best to spend my childrens' inheritance. The oldest is doing fine (owns a real estate company in Florida), the older daughter finished her undergraduate work in 2006 and added a PhD eight years ago, and the younger daughter is within a few months of her PhD. In other words, they can fend for themselves.
But all that is personal - your ideas are sound.
You don't have to be scared we are 100% legitimate your money is safe you have to try and build that trust cause this is your first time to invest and I know but I promise you that after this first investment you will give testimony for it ok
The teachings on this channel are always top notch so informative and easy to understand, it's very hard to find good content online these days

The math is correct, but the ability of Americans to afford even one home has declined as wages have remained stagnant since the late 70’s. It’s a nice dream, but misses the point.
@AnotherHomeChef, thanks for this comment. While affordability has declined for many home buyers, it is possible to buy an investment home in a location other than where you live, in a much more affordable market. The magic of the 30-year fixed rate loan will still work.
Very solid point. Was so relevant in 2011-2020. Whoever bought with a fixed mortgage made the deal of their lives.

Such a great TedX. Powerful, succinct and to the point. The best investments are those that are "evergreen" and timeless, meaning people will always need what one is investing in. People will always need a place to live. This is why real estate investment is a strategy that even Warren Buffet has gone on the record multiple times to advocate for. Adiel's strategy's aren't just sound, they are based on 35 years of experience with a proven success record helping people build substantial, sustainable wealth.
