It will be very interesting to hear back from people if fish I've tagged have been caught. It could shed some light on they're migration behaviour and growth times
Great sessions mate :) that spot looks exactly like ine mark in Clare :) mad, even stones looks same. I get big Pollock in that shallow reef from time to time too. Otherwise they are in deeper water. Keep up great work 👍💪
Last time I was fishing the east coast was July or August, the water clarity makes it very difficult to catch fish 😭 they're still there tho, but you'll need to put in serious hours to find them! I'd prefer to drive a little bit more and find some clear water
@specimendavetv7826 more power to ya fella my pals are all gone fresh water and it's defo no for me I just don't care. Live by the sea I can see my mark from the house it drives me crazy but very lucky too. My first year at it I've learned so much. I bring ya to a mark sometime on the east coast when it clears up a bit.
The IFI don't have a tagging programme for pollock, they don't seem that interested in them as a species as they are not commercialized in the EU the same as bass
Nice one Dave keep chasing that silver 👏👏👏
Another great watch Dave, seriously putting me in the mood to plan road trips south next year 🎣🎣

@@specimendavetv7826 guessed that with the lifejacket on plane question, didn’t think you were flying Dublin to cork 😂😂

East cost has been shite and usually sandy and the razor fishermen they are smashing the sea bed day after day. Clean water there but rough as.
