I like it but I kind of agree - like Windhill you only have the single “Blue”. But you can roll down a lot of it and don’t need to be 10 foot off the ground

Most places are surprisingly accessible to all abilities - TH-cam and social media only seem to show you the extreme and adrenaline fuelled riders. There are way more of us average people out there. Glad you found it useful - just be careful when you go as some stuff has changed since this video. Also ask someone when you’re there.

Great video...I'm going for the first time on Friday. Only recently got back into mountain biking after 20 yrs. Last did it when I was 17. Been hitting my local bike park and done FOD on a budget £600 hardtail. But was more nervous about here. Not now cheers.
Great video, having ridden Rogate i would agree with all your comments, i have hit most lines at a pace i'm happy with and never had any issues, still gearing up for DMR line :-)

We had a great time. Really lucky with the weather and no dramas on the track. We actually visited again this week. Such a great setting and well maintained. Also loving my new Endura Humvee trousers ordered after watching your review. I may have to stop watching your videos as it’s costing me a fortune. Only joking. Love the content and keep them coming. Tell you what mate, that is what we all need to see and hear regarding places like that, I love the pinned tv "idiots guides" to riding places, your just a down to earth normal mtb rider and simply just want to ride your bike, keep up the good work 👊🏻
Its what I want before I go to places like this. i've "reviewed" places before and maybe been a bit negative of places like Swinley (I want to be honest in my opinions), but you're right a first timers view of these places is a good thing as we get new comers to this sport every day. And they are the ones that probably go and end up having accidents!

I’ve just arrived to Rogate on my own for my first try at a bike park. Car park is full of pro looking blokes but thanks a bunch for this video makes me feel much more comfortable . Time to go have fun :)

@@TimFromWales Thanks mate. I did go, bottle rocket was absolutely fine although I didn’t feel that clearing the jumps was to my ability. L plate and Mainline were also good ones.
@@TimFromWales I did the huge jump on the end of bottle rocket for the first time and touched my brake in the air so went otb and hit my shoulder into the ground and broke my helmet
How busy is it at the weekends? My local is Peaslake, which is fine at the weekends, but covers a large area. Just wondering if I'm better off going on a weekday.
Thanks - did it make sense to you? I’m think trail centres and bike parks can be quite intimidating to some people and I think a guide like this to somewhere as legendary as Rogate is a really good thing
TimFromWales MTB yes, it made perfect sense mate. It’s good to have a heads up about which trails are more difficult than others and what sort of features that you might come across. I’m up in Scotland and The Golfie is a hill with all black graded trails but they have now added a 1-5 point system on top of that so you have a better idea of what to expect.😁👍
And p plate u can not roll that And top section of far beyond ridden and tunnel vision also may catch U out as they are fairly steep and technical so watch them lines also if ya not super confident

Haven't been here yet. Been to Tidworth and windhill it's a shame they don't have more fun blue lines.

Its a great spot and not at all scary as I'm sure the likes of Ben Deakin and Brendog make it look.

You should def get there. Take your time, first time and enjoy. Definitely flow down Bottle Rocket first.

Bottle Rocket is fine - just go careful and look ahead and you can have a go at all of these trails.
