      Just under the video you'll find an icon depicting a fist with a thumb pointing downwards. Clicking on it is the easiest way. If you don't feel satisfied and wanna go further, you're very welcome to leave a mean comment, preferably questioning my ability, or right to build and post Lego creations.
      If your question was rhetorical rather than technical, then you must be just landed recently on our blue marble. In that case, let me greet you in the name of all earthlings, and as things are standing now, I hope you got enough fuel to reach anoher planet that celebrates common sense. :-)

    I really think that the first lego technic builders are old enough to appreciate and buy something like a special series called "Lego Technic Legends - Redesigned" - old cult models built in the new, lighter style.

    You really put a lot of work and thought into that. Kudos to you. I confirm what Simon sais. A lot of memories are attached to the original 8880, i still have mine (too), but man, you really pulled that off.
    Getting over peoples nostalgia is an accomplishment.
    Did you recommend that to Lego btw? I know not a lot of petitions get really made but this might be worth a shot.

    • @Attika
      @Attika 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Tao. No I didn't contact Lego in any way. It would be fairly arogant from me to think that all those designers at the Lego (TLG) can't come up with something advanced like this. Sadly nowadays TLG has a "cap" on complexity of the sets they release due to the fact: they sell toys for kids. Ironically this tendency came from the feedback on the original 8880 back in the time. Since then they don't wanna risk customer satisfaction on the difficulty of the building procedure. Too bad. But that gives us -amateur builders- a gap to fill. ;-)

    • @Attika
      @Attika 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm glad you like it, sorry for the delay. Sadly it isn't sold as a kit, so therte isno easy way. My best bet is to go to rebrickable and there should be an option to buy the parts (I don't know, as I'm not even a regular visitor there, let alone to be a member). However my recommendation would be to build up a collection of regular sets, and use those parts as a backbone to build moc's like mine. It's gonna get boring after a time, so you can take it apart and build a new one. I suppose you already have some parts/sets or whatever, so just expand your collection. Benefit of buying full sets, that you can sell them later as full sets if you have to, or want to get rid of them and by the time the price of a discontinued set is just rising, so at the and you made money, instead of loosing it. ;-)
      Here is the rebrickable link:

    • @Attika
      @Attika 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, hope it will live up to your expectations. Unfortunetally the ackerman steering could not be done with these new suspension elements. To achieve them with a custom build would have ended up in a bulky assembly, so I've sacrified it on the altar of practicality. The other functions hopefully will make it up for this shortcoming.
