hilarious i was gonna say bergara is incredible. and that album as well, i have it . Jimmy rosenberg with vignola and django fest in ny at birdland live is insanely enjoyable .. also the low budget vid they did . Vienna is the greatest concert I've seen .. and anything with Fapy Lafetein .. his rythm playing is so smooth. thank you for this!!!!
We’re on the same page with all of that stuff for sure! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Fapy play live a few times and even sat around a jamming circle with him back in the day. One of my favourite gypsy players without a doubt 👌🏻
It’s taking an enormous amount of discipline to keep up with these lessons. I got the prior one under my fingers - the People Get Ready rhythm part and now I am scrambling with this one. Good fun!
Awesome maestro !! I picked up a John Le Voi dreadnought made in the early 70’s in fantastic condition for £350 from a local music shop !! Stunning guitar…needed a re-fret so I sent it to the man himself…had it back in a week playing and sounding like new John is a real gent and a genius with all things guitar. Loving what you’re doing still Alex…you are the man !!
Oh that’s so cool! I’ve met John a few times, always a gentleman. Very cool that you’ve got one of his early guitars! 👌🏻 Thanks for the kind words mate 🙏🏻
Another nice arrangement and thoughtful lesson. I'm diving into this one while my rhythm guy is learning the strumming technique. I'm confused a bit about the title. It's a lively bolero that actually is calming if played at an outdoor cafe etc. Troublant seems to be an odd title. There must be a reason why he named it though as it's not disturbing lol. Cheers! tom
Part 1 was awesome, so for sure Part 2 will complement this perfect lesson, thank you very much Alex!
Thank you buddy! Always worth doing these things thoroughly! 🤪

Great sound ❤, how did you record this wonderful piece of music?
