His brother Chaudhary Shakrullah Khan was the most influential person of Daska and he performed excellent role during partition and he protected all Sikhs and Hindus of Daska and not a single casualty happened in Daska. They are blue blood people and their family is still respected at large in the area. Chopra Sahab has an amazing memory.

New generations know nothing about it so i request you kindly to make a written document of his memoirs about partition and before partition. Baasi roti with butter is being used now a days for breakfast in Punjab. Some chemical changes occur in roti,due to which baasi roti is sweeter than fresh.

Last year while exploring a village Jamke Cheema, a village near Tehsil Daska of district Sialkot, I came across a Chopra family. The elder of that Chopra family told me that their grandfather embraced Islam before partition of 1947 while his 6 brothers who were hindus migrated to India. Chopra Family owned a big Jagir in Jamke Cheema and around Daska.
No one converting to Islam willingly , plz inquire & you will find that your forefather also converted like they did only by sword। & the rest Is just stories to paint good face .

After listening such horrorful partition stories I wonder how man can fall so low. I had a chance to meet a 95 years old man a few years ago in Jalandhar. He said he didn't want to go back to see the place in Pakistan where he lived. The reason, the people with whom they had lived like friends and family ran after them to kill them. I had the feeling he suffered the horror of betrayal thought out his life. May God bless humanity.
Very sad to hear the horror that occurred. The British mainly and the people that fell for the britishers tactics and supported the creation of Pakistan are to blame. May God give peace to those that were murdered. We all lived in peace until the creation of Pakistan was eminent and goons started ethnic cleansing and revenge made man into something even asuras or demons couldn’t even imagine. Thank you Chopra sir for sharing. The Sanatam Dharmis benefited the most from partition because it gave them a higher majority in India and they didn’t even want it at all. A little error needs to be corrected here that my grandfather were not two brothers, they were four brothers. 1) CHAUDHRY SIR MUHAMMAD ZAFRULLAH KHAN. 2) CHAUDHRY SHAKRULLAH KHAN (Raees e Azam Daska). 3) CHAUDHRY ABDULLAH KHAN. 4) CHAUDHRY ASADULLAH KHAN (MLA) Before partition Chaudhary Sir Muhammad Zafrullah Khan, Barrister at Law (my eldest grandfather) and Chaudhary Asad Ullah Khan Barrister at Law (My youngest grandfather) were the only real brothers who were elected as Members of Punjab Assembly from District Sialkot from different constituencies for the same tenure. After listening such horrorful partition stories I wonder how man can fall so low.
I had a chance to meet a 95 years old man a few years ago in Jalandhar. He said he didn't want to go back to see the place in Pakistan where he lived. The reason, the people with whom they had lived like friends and family ran after them to kill them. I had the feeling he suffered the horror of betrayal thought out his life.

Very sad to hear the horror that occurred. The British mainly and the people that fell for the britishers tactics and supported the creation of Pakistan are to blame. May God give peace to those that were murdered. We all lived in peace until the creation of Pakistan was eminent and goons started ethnic cleansing and revenge made man into something even asuras or demons couldn’t even imagine. Thank you Chopra sir for sharing. The Sanatam Dharmis benefited the most from partition because it gave them a higher majority in India and they didn’t even want it at all. And women and children suffered the most, and unimaginable suffering. I wish I could make partition have not happen.😥

2) CHAUDHRY SHAKRULLAH KHAN (Raees e Azam Daska).
3) CHAUDHRY ABDULLAH KHAN.
4) CHAUDHRY ASADULLAH KHAN (MLA)
Before partition Chaudhary Sir Muhammad Zafrullah Khan, Barrister at Law (my eldest grandfather) and Chaudhary Asad Ullah Khan Barrister at Law (My youngest grandfather) were the only real brothers who were elected as Members of Punjab Assembly from District Sialkot from different constituencies for the same tenure. Chaudhry SIR Zafrullah Khan was re-elected as Unopposed.

My grandfather Chaudhry Shakrullah Khan Sahib (younger brother of Chaudhry SIR Zafrullah Khan ) performed an important role during partition and saved and protected our Hindu and Sikh brethren and was remembered as the HERO in Daska. He couldn’t bear the loss of depriving his Hindu brethren and passed away after few months of partition. Chaudhry Mahmood Nasrullah Khan Sahib was the eldest brother of my father. By the grace of God Almighty my grandfather Chaudhry Shakrullah managed to save our Hindu and Sikh brethren in a way that not only a single casualty happened in Daska, neither a single human being was murdered nor a single Hindu Sikh girl was abducted.
From Chaudhry Sb the announcements were made public by MUNAADI (announcements with the drum beaters) “After God all Hindus and Sikhs are protected by Chaudhry Shakrullah Khan, Raees-e-Azam Daska, and if any one dates to harm them he will have to face the consequences”.
That was good enough for the people because everyone knew him and his strong determination.
My bazurgs always missed the great people who had to migrate from Daska in 1947, May God be kind to them and their generations to come, best wishes from their homeland DASKA.

Yes ur family had very good relations with our family.Shafarruulah used to come to our home in daska and we was like brother to my nana father .Later on even people came to visit us in Jalandhar and ghaziAbad . Your family was pro partition and belonged to Muslim league and The British gouverment .Your family was very big names in Indian politics at that time and sir zaffrulah was the right hand man of Jinnah sahib.I heard from my grand Nani that zaffrulah persuaded Jinnah to become from agha khanni to Shia Muslim
