    Can you set alerts for when a specific song or artist
    comes on like other SiriusXM radios? If so, how?

      On some Pioneer in dash receivers the answer is yes, and on others the answer is no. What model of Pioneer in-dash receiver do you have? You can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: th-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics

    I've watched a ton of your videos before and after I purchased my w4500NEH and I've learned a lot thanks. But I finally have a question. My presets on the left don't have icons for the separate channels. A few do, others just have the "SiriusXM" logo. They come and go also. I've never had all 18 presets remain with their own logos

      I'm not aware of a specific reason all 18 logos may or, may not appear simultaneously at any given time. I know that any images for the SiriusXM channel logos or album art are actively being broadcast by SiriusXM. When you change SiriusXM bands on the receiver, the SXM tuner must update the receiver with new data. This may take a few moments to populate on the receiver. When I tune to a SiriusXM talk radio station like ESPN the title of the current show and topic are displayed below the channel name but they are in grey text that is very hard to read in daylight. On regular music stations the artist and song title are in bright white letters that are easy to read. I've tried all the settings and I can't find any that change the color of the talk radio show names and topics. Is there anyway to change these to the white text (like the music channels)? I have the AVN-4200NEX.

      I'm not aware of a specific way to change the colors of text during talk shows, however you can change the overall color of the system screens. Changing the background color may give you better options for your specific application. You can see how to change the Color Theme in this video: th-cam.com/video/vNHEvsZ5JKc/w-d-xo.html You can also change the brightness of the overall screen as shown here: th-cam.com/video/6ExlUiWuZLI/w-d-xo.html

    Can you get just the antenna or you need the whole tuner?

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to add the SiriusXM function to the AVH-2300NEX you'll need to add a SiriusXM tuner and antenna. I recommend model SXV300 from SiriusXM. You can find more videos about AVH-2300NEX here: th-cam.com/video/kpKYks-17gM/w-d-xo.html

    I notice that the song names dim on my Sirius XM with this unit, is there somewhere in the settings where I can keep the song names illuminated at all times?

      What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? Do you have a SiriusXM tuner connected to your in-dash receiver? First please be sure the optional SXV300 Tuner available from SiriusXM is attached to your Pioneer in-dash receiver. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/wxTMyY6lR2A/w-d-xo.html You can see where is plugs into the back of the in-dash receiver here: th-cam.com/video/uympbLEIOsc/w-d-xo.html The SXV300 tuner is typically available at little or no cost with a subscription to SiriusXM. It may be necessary to press the Pioneer in-dash receiver's microprocessor reset button to have it recognized the addition of the external tuner. How do you remove the album art? It is so small, not necessary, and blocks much of the song information which must scroll.

      I'm not aware of a way to remove the album art. If it's being broadcast by SiriusXM it will appear on screen. Had mine in my car for about 6 months, all of a sudden my Sirius XM in the drop down menu is gone, any idea how to fix it?

      I recommend to press the microprocessor reset button on the in-dash receiver. You didn't mention what model number of Pioneer in-dash receiver you have, so I can't tell you exactly where the button can be found. You can usually find the model number near one of the corners of the face of the in-dash receiver. On Pioneer AVH-2500NEX, similar to what is show in the video above, you can find the microprocessor reset button on the hard key panel at the top beside the eject button. You'll need a paper clip or some other small point to press the micro processor reset button. If this does not correct the issue, I recommend to do a Restore Settings. You can see Restore Settings in this video: th-cam.com/video/OMJ5yJ6157g/w-d-xo.html You can find a full Pioneer playlist of How To video for Pioneer AVH-2300NEX here: th-cam.com/video/kpKYks-17gM/w-d-xo.html Please be sure to install the latest firmware for your Pioneer AVH-2500NEX. You can find it here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/NEX/AVH-2500NEX#downloads and you can find more videos on Pioneer's You tube Channel here: th-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics

      On the Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX, you'll find the microprocessor reset button on the hard key panel to the far right beside the eject button. Be sure to install the latest firmware for your Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX. You can find it here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/NEX/AVH-W4400NEX#downloads If this does not correct the issue, I recommend to do a Restore Settings. You can see Restore Settings on a very similar Pioneer receiver in this video: th-cam.com/video/OMJ5yJ6157g/w-d-xo.html You can find a full Pioneer playlist of How To videos with very similar operation to Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX here: th-cam.com/video/kpKYks-17gM/w-d-xo.html If you need help to connect your phone to Apple CarPlay you can find it here: th-cam.com/video/MkWffv3vB6Q/w-d-xo.html and Android Auto here: th-cam.com/video/yoPE7eF84-0/w-d-xo.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's You tube Channel here: th-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics
