      @@JakesTake hi again Jake. Since there are no nib options for this, and since this pen is using #6 nibs, can we perhaps purchase lets say a Goulet Medium #6 and swap? Really curious

    You've inspired me to check the reverse writing on all my rollerballs. I may be pleasantly surprised!

    Very close design to Namisu Horizon Ti with the same titanium nib ! The Namisu is clipless and cigar shaped though. This is the combination that I bought and I love it a lot.

      @cordeliabelial808 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, the Namisu uses a #6 stainless steel nib. Iridium tip I believe

      @korax67 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cordeliabelial808 they also provide a Titanium #6 nibs. It is amazing. Try it if you find it.

      @@korax67 Ah! I see now, my apologies. I do wonder overall how titanium would function. Having a low modulus of elasticity, I imagine it's quite a springy feeling?

    • @korax67
      @korax67 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cordeliabelial808 yes, exactly, it feels really soft, nothing like the hard steel or golden nibs (Sailor's gold nibs are extremely stiff for example), and if you push it gently you can get a nice line variation(semi-flex). The tipping feels different too, it is really smoother than iridium.
      The only downside is that it gets easily dry if you do a fast writing.

    does the cap post to the back? or will it leave any scratches or marks on the body of the pen over time from posting to the back for writing? theres no threads or post area to attach it to, I've seen pics where its posted to the back, but I'm not sure if that's by design or it was just crammed on there lol

    • @JakesTake
      @JakesTake  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does post but it's incredibly back heavy when you do so. It'll probably scratch up overtime.

    • @mikec3201

      @@JakesTake thanks for the reply!! idk why on any capped pens they dont give some type of option to post it to the back regardless lol I think on the website it says there is teflon in the cap for when its posted, but even that still will scratch and mar the body over time like you said

    Have you not had an issue with the refill slipping when using the collet section?
    I have the ti arto edc, and the collet system is total shit, the refill always slipping even when I tighten down the collet enough to mar whatever refill I’m using. Pain in the ass.

      May be thru for the Original Ti Arto, but I guess for the Ti Arto Edc you must be adjusting it wrongly. You should use the rear portion to adjust the stick out of the refill until it is the length you want, so the refill cannot slip further back as it is supported by the back end. then you just have to lightly tighten the collet so there is no play, and cannot slip back.

      @@TheRatBoyBoy I have the Ti Arto EDC and accidentally bought a very small SXR-80 refill by Uniball. The refill seems to hold, but I feel like I need to adjust the grip occasionally. The SXR-80 is shorter then the shortest rear adjustment (so the refill would disaster into the pen if I loosened the front and with the back part fully screwed in). Overall, I like the Ti Arto EDC. So much that I bought a second one. Yes, I have issues.
