This is a common problem. I had a similar problem early on. I found the fix on rc groups as there is a specific thread on this gimbal. I don't remember the exact fix, but I think I used software site other than the Martinez site. When you find the answer, please post it here. Thanks for watching.
The FG only provides a "stable" pitch and roll position. The user can't change the tilt position while it is flying as that position is fixed. But, seventh channel allows the user to physically change the pitch of the gimbal while in flight. Say you are in hover,but your camera tilt is too high, with what I am showing you, you can now actually change the tilt of the camera about 30 degrees, both up and down.
