Despite your struggle with the English language sometimes, you are more articulate, thorough and informative than anyone. I have bought your pattern and am now on my 3rd doll for my one year old granddaughter. I am attaching pics of them and aim to keep working at them until I am happy. I have been sewing well over 50 years but had never made wool dolls. I will it right eventually. Thank you so very much.

Hi as you know what your diong please can you help me.im trying to buy off Internet a stocking of smooth doll material for face body and arms.but as I'm a beginner I don't know what to order.as your material has a ribbing in it but I want a more smoother material.i am watching you and would like to thank you for your advice.you explain clairly.i didn't even know you cut the mouth untill I watched this vidio.others don't explain those details thank you have a merry Christmas uk
Hey there, great tutorials, thanks! What I don't get is that you're saying we would have to cut the fabric between the lips but you don't do that on this doll. Did I get something wrong?
The best fabric skin is Laib Yala if you google you will find it. I am not sure if it can be painted with acrylic paint, never done that. Thank you for your compliment

I am afraid i can not help you. The material i use is specially made for making dolls. Have some nice days 👍

never cut the skin fabric! You make that "incision" before putting the skin fabric on.

Hi there, just google on C-lon Micro Cord and you will find it. It is used with beads.
Which direction does the stretch go on the face? Do I want more stretch across the face or up and down?
I use Laib Yala, that stretches the most in with but a little in lenght too
