I swear once you get it down it goes from 48 to 4 hours. The longest time is parting as you go, so now I just part the front nearly by the back I use my fingers to part, ain't nobody got time for that 😂😂
Beautiful!! I would suggest "Loc N Gel" instead of the jam, because it makes gripping wayyy easier and anti-frizz. It can can save you a couple of hours for sure. Makes protective styles so much easier and last longer
I been braiding my own hair for years so you would think that doing twists would be easy right, no! No they are not easy, so I feel you. I actually paused while doing it and cried about it. 😂. Yours looks great
Girl I said the same thing when I tried this style. It took me so long... but the growth afterwards and just how light and bouncy they were was worth it. I'll do them again, just not anytime soon lol. You did great!
She is so real for this! Felt the same. I have family is still live with, so they can keep my child company until I’m done, but it’s takes a damn fucking year to finish this one up! And I do the long version so bless my God for giving me the energy! Great video and love the hair.
🤣🤣🤣 “I had to break up fights” This is literally me anytime I’m doing a style that takes hours in my hair. My kids seem like they act up when I decide to do my hair 😩
Literally in the process of doing this rn and this video popped up. Used same hair except in the color 2 Made my parts wayyyyy smaller, so far I'm on my third day. Twisted to the right instead of the left and twists look so natural! Obsessed with how it turned out.
I love doing my hair like this. Just sharing if you want to try something differently..i literally start with my naturral hair as a braid then after about half inc to inch i split in two and add twists in as rope twists to lock together then i regular twisted. The twists expand so it didn't show my natural hair at root and had no pulling..and it went quickly. Iove this hair it was so light.
How did you get them to have that shine to it? When I did mine, they looked dry. I was thinking about changing the hair type but you were able to achieve that natural shine look with the Afro hair.
These look so good! I don’t know how to grip or start it off but this was a cute hairstyle. You definitely saved a lot of money this looks professionally done.
@@gennygengen2165 you could also do the rubber band method or start braiding your hair first and crochet the hair in. It can’t slide out that way but it’ll just take way longer
I recently got the same style (my cousin did them for me) and i loveeeedddd them! i just took them out on Friday. The goal is to reinstall myself. Now I’m nervous tho!🥹😳 yours came out pretty tho!
Thank you for being honest and realistic. This is amazing content sis. Us black girls who can't braid DEFINITELY need representation 😅😂
Thank you!!!
I’m a black girl who also cannot braid, but your reel just gave me what I needed to try this style. Thank you for your transparency and honesty 💕

Beautiful ❤❤
You Did A Great Job !! 😍😍😍😍
Thank you!
Yes she did ❤😊
You really did!!!
Tip, crochet the back and just do individuals at the front/back. Takes me half the time lol
Thank you! I didn't even consider this! The last time I did this style, it took me almost 3 days!😭
You just blew my mind, thank you for this advice 🙏🏽

The little fingers playing with the hair 😂

Your commentary was so real. I've conceded to mini twists using my own hair.
Girl I said the same thing when I tried this style. It took me so long... but the growth afterwards and just how light and bouncy they were was worth it. I'll do them again, just not anytime soon lol. You did great!

They came out cute sis!
Thank you!
Well you did a great job and the twists are very neat!❤️
SUPER CUTE! How’d you prevent your actual hair strands from sticking out the twist? That’s the part that keeps preventing me from doing my whole head
You accomplished this beautiful style on your own the first time, you can do it again! 😍
Girl this looks so cute🥰
Pretty!❤❤
Looks good 🥰

you did a great job! im about to do my own twists soon - how did you prevent your hair from sticking out of the twists?? i keep having this problem 😞

These look so good! I don’t know how to grip or start it off but this was a cute hairstyle. You definitely saved a lot of money this looks professionally done.
Thank you!!
They really look good. You should see mine. Even with crotchet at the bottom half, the top half was still a huge chore
You favor Quinta Brunson and your hair came out so pretty 😍
Bought my hair and it was delivered today. Wish me luck. I do mini twist all the time with small twist but I want more length. Your hair looks great.
Did you split the strands?
I am doing them as we speak. I watched this because they were kicking my butt too! 😂This video helped. Glad yours turned out well! ❤️
Lovely style 🎉

It was the 16 inch hair
So beautiful
You did a good job
Thank you!
Ikr.. I've been putting off taking mine out 🪮
Your hair looks absolutely awesome and you should do it all the time💗
I tried this with the same hair and the braids at the root started sliding within hours. Did you have that problem?
No they haven’t slid is your hair super soft?
@@thee.dezmarie yes. Especially when stretched. Maybe I should try it without stretching it.
Yours look great.
@@gennygengen2165 you could also do the rubber band method or start braiding your hair first and crochet the hair in. It can’t slide out that way but it’ll just take way longer
I just finished mine and used rubber bands to keep them from slipping
thank you for this! i too am a black girl that cannot braid, so thank u for giving me hope😂
Hey, did the tips you cut unravel?

I love this style and I want to try it, but every video I watch people say it takes forever. I am going to get my stepdaughter to help me lol.
Girl I just tried doing this. Took me 30 minutes to do 2 twists and it looked a MESS! I just gave up 😅
Ikr! Me too 🤦🏾♀️
Honeyyyy! It looks so cute. I tried doing the same a couple weeks back and it took me 2 days😂 and my twist was not springing.
Girl you did a great job! What brand of hair is that?
I am with you. It's my first time 😢
Same. Want these bad!!! But I have kids, homeschool said kids, and work two part time jobs smh!!!!
I recently got the same style (my cousin did them for me) and i loveeeedddd them! i just took them out on Friday. The goal is to reinstall myself. Now I’m nervous tho!🥹😳 yours came out pretty tho!
