For me, what makes SB19 stands out among PPop groups right now is their versatility, top tier vocals and quality songs. They don't release songs that are inclined to what's trending or hyped. They stick to their identity, journey and story and that makes them special. And they aren't afraid or scared to show vulnerability coz they value meaningful impact on their audience/listeners. Their artistry is refreshing and it's rare to see that nowadays in the music industry.

Minutes before this first take release. Stell ang Pablo had live in Tiktok. They said they are more nervous on whats the result of their performance in MAPA than Gento. Maybe this version of MAPA were more complicated and detailed technically. But They nailed it. Love this version of MAPA.

Yes, they know. What I really love about them is that they take the time to know the artists they react to and the deeper meaning behind the songs they react to. That's why I always look forward to their reactions.
Got to say that you are all correct in that SB19 are not just live vocal kings (implied), But they are the most humble kings amongst artists invited by TFT. I've been digging into the TFT libraries - a lot of local artists who they call anime artists like Lisa (gurenge). just a few international artists got invited, like Avril Lavigne and Harry Styles. And now SB19.
ReMARKable was right. They trimmed down the instrumentals and even made some changes on GENTO and MAPA so that their voices would stand out. It's like almost acapella. And they sang the 2 most popular songs they have. GENTO for the Pop and MAPA for the ballad. Hope TFT would let them perform more. 🤞 Anyways, I like the Man of Stell our Superman. 🥰 Thank you guys! ❤ Can you please react to G22 for a change? This time Mapa is a little bit happier version compare to the original one that made us cried. This is one hell of a performance by SB19! The new arrangement of Mapa showcased their really beautiful raw vocals. Goosebumps became a permanent feeling as I listen to this performance. With these guys, expect the unexpected! They always try to level up their performance and surprised their audience. Indeed Live Monsters and PPOP Kings! All hail to the Kings! I agree with remarkable that they are always so natural and when they say they were nervous that is true because of the environment and plus the new arrangement of the song wherein everything is strip down and they are going to rely on their raw vocals plus the timing of each of their parts must be spot on. Their harmonies are just amazing - 5 different vocal tones but when they come together it's 5 become 1, that's how perfect they are. I agree with no drink, Josh's part was quite emotional especially if you know his back story... He did well, he was killing it. By the way, they recently won the nickelodeon kids' choice awards on the favorite Asian act category. Thank you for such wonderful review. More reviews of SB19.

Mapa literally means "a map". But Pablo's poetic mind made a wordplay to connect it to our parents because in everyone's life, our parents stand as a map that gives direction to our journey in life. If you try to break down the word MaPa, it embodies our Ma or Mama (mother, mom) and Pa or Papa (father, dad). Also, as the song progresses, the lyrics show that our Ma is our Mata (eyes) and Pa is our Paa (feet). That's how genius Pablo is as a lyricist and as a musician.

The arrangement was different from the original. This is less emotional, they are more happier and celebratory! The harmonies are on point. Their distinct vocals when layered perfectly sounded really awesome, their voices complements each other! They are 5 member group but sounded like a choir! Indeed, a song that any son/daughter can resonate with!
