Cliff Paul I've always said Brady was the greatest of all time. 4 rings with 6 appearances was enough for me. As a Packers fan, all I can ask for is that people admit Rodgers is better, not greater. Rodgers plays the position at the highest level and can do it all, thus making him "better". But Brady is still the greatest of all time.
Eufamous Rodgers is more talented physically gifted but not better overall. Aaron Rodgers is a "me" guy. He isn't taking pay cuts to get better talent around him. He doesn't tailor his diet and life around football... He isn't as clutch and is not on the same level as Brady when it comes to being a leader of men. Physical talent is overrated.

What made Joe great was that he managed to do what he did because he had a superhuman understanding of how to attack a defense. He never had the cannon arm or the lightning quick release or any of the other spectacular athletic abilities that a lot of guys rely on to cover up for their bad reads or inaccuracy. He had to do it by knowing what the right play was every time and executing it perfectly every time.
Brady has that same level of understanding of how to run an offense while also having the stud arm that Joe never had.

That's where the coaching staff comes in, they are football coaches, not athletic trainers. They are judging them strictly on their athletic talent and what they've watched in their collegiate/pre-professional career and believe in their coaching staff's ability to make something of the individual.
Jacob Hall Combine is more than that and it is NOT terrible,most players who do well in that tend to have successful careers...Watt,Calvin J,Deion Sanders,Randy Moss,Willis Mcgahee,Ray Lewis,Patrick P,Odell,Julio J etc. Tom Brady just happened to be an isolated incident. The eventual Greatest QB who ended up with the Greatest coach ever. He was the right player in the right situation at the right time. The chances of all of that happening again is so slim I can't even put a % on the probability

I was watching the SB with my girlfriend (we are from Croatia, so she knows nothing about american football, so I explained her the rules step by step during the game) and when Edelman made that catch, I said to her 'Damn, this is karma right here. This happened against Pats 10 years ago, the helmet catch, wouldn't it by awesome if they now win the game because of this? Because of karma?' - and then they showed that clip of David Tyree just as I was explaining it to her, and she was like: 'Oh yeah, they are coming back and they are def winning it after that crazy catch'. Chills went through my spine and everything else was history.
Love Edelman and Brady, but that catch was on first down, Tyree's catch was on fourth down, and the Pats would takeover. So to me - it's not as clutch. Nice catch though.

I think Shannon and Skip are under rating Tom's athleticism and strength. Brady is quite smooth and elegant in the pocket, his footwork is perfect and he's pretty damn good at avoiding pressure; he's not a statue. Brady also has had a reputation his entire career of being able to take plenty of hits in a game and still get up every time.

The one thing that bothers me about when people bring up the Seahawks debacle and the Giants beating him twice. He threw them in position to win those games. The defense just blew those games. Brady can't play offense and defense. Football is different from basketball. He's the QB.

1. Toughness: One of the toughest QBs playing with injuries (broken ribs, sprained ankle, sprained finger) when most would quit. He's at his best when his back's at the wall when most would buckle under pressure.
2. Passion: No one Loves of the game more. His wife caught him watching tape at 330 in the morning. He has no other hobby.
3. Competitive: He's one of the Most competitive. He hates to lose...at ANYTHING! He made bets to his scouting teams to see who can pick him off at every practice only to make the team better. He once lost a game of ping pong to one of his team mate's and broke his paddle! Lol
4. Heart: This man's stats at his debut combine made him look like David to Goliath but, he NEVER quits...EVER! He is like Rocky Balboa, takes the hits and keeps on coming!
5. Humble: This man wasn't a celeb that went out and drink or party or was prideful in a destructive way. He was teachable or I should say coachable and he had Bill to thank for all that mentorship. Mentorship he was willing to take. He's taken pay cuts just to make the team better!!
