It’s really weird to do these big “rankings updates” every week but be holding on to Carroll (hitting .210 with 2 HR) over Yelich, who leads NL OF in BA with a .930 ops (and more SB) - halfway through the season. Like what good are the updates then? Theres not any data to support Carroll even in the top 15 at OF. This is why I want more frank opinions, feels like he adjusts off preconceived takes more nimbly.
Is it time to officially stop worrying about pitchers pitching on the road at Colorado? If Colin Rae can throw a 7 inning shutout I think we can start any pitcher there.
As a Reds fan, I have a lot of faith in Andrew Abbott being a good pitcher. I watch all the games and I feel better when he takes the mound than with Hunter Greene and his crap he pulls sometimes. Abbott is consistently good and he really knows how to pitch and doesn't get rattled. You can tell me the underlying numbers say whatever, but after watching him pitch for two years, the actual numbers seem to match the eye test pretty well.
@kschappert1 Just like we've seen so far huh? I'm telling you there's a certain level of quality and expectation that Andrew Abbott brings with himself to the mound. He knows how to get the job done. Is he a 4.2 ERA pitcher instead of a 3.2? Idk maybe. But he's definitely a quality major league pitcher. I've watched almost every single start he's made in the major leagues.

Any pitcher can have a good day there it's just a lower probability

What can I realistically get back in a Bobby Miller trade?
He was straight up dropped in both my leagues. Both 10 team, shallower type leagues. So not much probably but it doesn't hurt to try
He has no value,, right now. He will figure it out. Too much upside.
