You know the best part of your videos.... the tone of it... its like you are trying hard not to laugh but at certain moments are in genuine pain but still close to laughing. Highlight of the video the 'demoralising' knight fork that loses a queen if he takes your rook... 100% The joy over the ending checkmate was also quite good.... I also love your commentary like "we go here because we are worried about something that probably isn't there"... Thanks for the video man.
dude i love how different brains work at chess like i saw f1 check and the sequence to win the queen but you went h1 and that led to a completely different game it’s fun and interesting 😭
As a similarly-rated Chess Fiasco, I can't tell you how happy I am to see this kind of content. It's thrilling to see the same blunders, successes, and foiled plans I deal with on a regular basis
bro... as someone interested in chess who hasn't gone down the rabbit hole yet... this is some of the best commentary I've ever seen to get people hyped about random normie chess games. thank you
I had one of these recently. I gave away my queen intentionally because of the sheer destruction i caused to my opponent. I didn't want them to resign so quickly. I ended up check-mating with a pawn. All the disrespect. But i had to do it because i was bored of mating with the heavy pieces. I kept the bishop pair and promoted another pawn to a knight to make it happen
I've lost so many games in the last few weeks. I dropped from 800 to 600 and I am slowly starting to stabilize my position. this is exactly what my games are right now
i really wish you'd make these videos more often. I check this channel daily for new content even though i'm ringing bell subscribed. Do you want me to buy merch? do you want me to do that subscription thing? Every 3 days even would help fend of the addiction.
With the exception of the missed discovered queen attack, your games are getting a bit better. You seem to be calculating in the right places more often as opposed to calculating something else while completely missing the obvious moves. I see some improvement. There were multiple times that you calculated the same things I did while watching.
3:42 isn't the rook already covered with the pawn? tbh you'd lose the rook anyway but taking with the queen vs pawn shouldn't make much of a difference
3:08 he had knight takes f7 and one rook will go down, because your bishop is pinned and in 5:05 you don't have a good position, queen e5 just hang a rook too, he had bishop f4 pinning the queen to the rook
There is one opening you should learn idk what it’s called but I call it “like how did you know see that” opening it goes like this. (As white) kings pawn d3 the opponent does the same you move your queen to h5, opponent attacks with g6 and you go in for the final attack queen to e5. He protect with either bishop or queen, and you take the unprotected rook on h8 I love to use this one when I play against my dad he never sees it. Btw I love your vids I’m myself struggling to get any higher than 900.
you should start doing some 10 minute games so we can get matched together and you can beat me and make a video about how brilliant you were. How long do 15 | 10 games usually take you? I haven't tried them yet
I have 1100 in rapid and the difference is I make less mistake when I'm calculating (still I do a lot of them but less). This can be improved by doing puzzles and I have a little better positional understanding. Sometimes I see you are ruining pawn structure for no reason, so you need to think more about your pawns, but in general my reasoning is very similar. your moves are mostly logical and in general I think difference is not that high. Just do more puzzles and think about your pawns and you will get 1100 soon.
If I can explain a proper fork. It's not called a fork just because it attacks two pieces. It's called a fork because no matter what your opponent does, you are going to gain material. So when you say FORK! please make sure it's actually a fork. otherwise it's just a regular move. or could be a different scenario... you're welcome on the free chess lesson from an actual chess instructor. well I'm certified but I have no students. 😅
Why would I watch Magnus Carlsen when I can watch 600 elo players hang their knights
i really don't know lol beside he is was more funny
Magnus does almost no commentary
So true!
i did NOT see the pawn checkmate
how it was easy
i saw moving the rock forceing a rock queen trade
Me neither hahah

@@FishTheMerchant Great minds think a like. Can we be chess friends?

That pawn checkmate was so good even i missed it holy shit
Outro music just made the checkmate even better.
Not only are these games and commentaries hilarious, but as someone struggling to get over 1,000 consistently myself, they're so relatable.
TRUE. 😂
bro was tweaking at the end
Damn !
Never thought I would enjoy such low rated chess commentaries that much !
Mate with pawn is forced

I cannot believe you hit em with a pawn checkmate. That person will remember this day for the rest of their life. Solid music!
you sir found a new chess video genre which is surely poised to exceed the following of expert chess streamers in no time.
Your videos are hilarious because they’re so relatable. Awesome content.
Bro, your commentary makes the video, it sounds like you have a lot of fun doing this, which makes it fun to watch.
I actually do have a lot of fun with it, I'm happy that shines through :)

Well deserved win man. You'll double your Elo before long.
No way he very much belongs in 600 lol
You're doing God job here mate. As a 800 ELO player, I bow before thee since I am not verbalizing my thought process as you do. Good job mate!

Yes this is indeed an accurate reflection of 600 elo. Bro making 600 elo a flex
the pawn checkmate
Magnus Carlsen of 600s. Keep up the good work man!
This shit is way more entertaining than it has any right to be. Subscribed. Also, learn the London. I wanna see you play with it.

You are welcome my son. Now go forth and play some normie chess games.
lol, as a below 500 elo player your videos are a blast to watch.
great video
you had Nxc6 while making room for the rook on d3, checking the white queen with the knight and threatening Rd8+ next.
i love that you play stretched res chess
ur way of playing chess is so cool feels like u are 1000 elo easily
no he is about 600 lol
Why are you so underrated 😭 this channel is gold bro. Love ur videos ( I’m also kinda bad (800 elo))

I've done 2 games a few videos, like the video before this I cover 2 games. It varies
@@OutrightIgnite I just enjoy watching your 10min+ videos😭

3:42 isn't the rook already covered with the pawn? tbh you'd lose the rook anyway but taking with the queen vs pawn shouldn't make much of a difference
yeah but he had to move the queen anyway, it was either that or Qd1 which leves the queen looking dumb or Qh3 (very scary even if its not bad)
7:40 its generally bad to pin your own pieces when you dont need to
Moving the king was probably better
Best chess channel ever
I love it! This is waaaaay too much fun
8:27 - What about Qf1+, Kh4, Rh2+, (Qh3, Rexh3+, Kg4, Qf5#) |or| (Kg5, h6#)
After Rd2+
7:00 “next time i`ll try and turn on the monitor for you guys” xD
Its so nice and funny to be able to understand this as a ~500ELO player LOL
Finally someone makes sense..
I never watched chess videos before, but I swear it was better than watching the european soccer championship.
Tha last move tho. :D
3:08 he had knight takes f7 and one rook will go down, because your bishop is pinned and in 5:05 you don't have a good position, queen e5 just hang a rook too, he had bishop f4 pinning the queen to the rook
crazy game
you just got to be there 🤣
lmao i love your videos
nice!
6:00 i'd move the king so if knight takes rook on d file it isn't a check and then if they take a rook you take their queen.
As a 1200 this lets me know how far I’ve came, this is insane chess 😂 great video.

I use these videos to pregame before blundering a couple pieces myself
At 3:19, why didnt white move Nf7? That could have forked the rooks
5:49 the queen is hanging.....
you are the greatest chess player

epic ending
Why are chess players racist to people lower rated than them 😭
I love this fucking guy
6:54 also if you just let him catpure your rook with the knight youd at least get a piece back (the knight) instead of just a pawn
1:21 you can go c6 with pawn.
6:31 Why not rook to e6, then if he takes with knight to f6, you take the queen.
As a 1300 elo i am pretty sure you can't be a 600 elo
