New Year's eve fireworks from the Sydney Opera House 12/31/2015

A compilation from New Year's eve at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia on December 31 2015.
The gates opened at 07:30am and we secured a great spot at the foot of the Opera House with an unobstructed view of the bridge and fireworks. This video includes some footage from the 9pm fireworks show. The midnight fireworks, while not included here, were absolutely stunning. This was by far the best fireworks display I've ever seen.
For a decade I had an apartment in NYC, and the balcony overlooked Times Square where the ball dropped. I would host a party every new year's eve. But nothing compared to the new year's eve fireworks and party in Sydney yesterday. I will definitely be back next year - and hopefully will record the midnight fireworks display too.

I am an amateur photographer - I have not studied or taken any classes, and I bought my first 'real' camera just six months ago.
This was my first attempt to film fireworks, which are hard to videotape.
I used a Sony a7s (an incredible camera!), and a tripod, but there was a lot of jostling, with everyone trying to get in position. So the footage is bumpy in spots.
Lastly, I was there to enjoy the moment and this 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience, not videotape.
