I love how it was early in the day when Emma drank the potion, and now it's clearly evening. Hook and Emma must have spent the day together. I love how Hook leans forward when he tells her there was nothing for him in the Enchanted Forest--clearly telling her there was nothing for him without her. And I love how she acknowledged what he was really saying by her facial expression and the clinking of the glasses. I love Hook saying "I came back to save you." I love how honest and vulnerable Emma is with Hook. She tells him her real thoughts even if they might be painful. I love how clearly reluctant he is to cause her pain by ripping her from her good fake life just to thrust her back into a world where her parents are in trouble and it's up to her to save them. I love Hook's offer to get rid of Walsh. It was painful to see how much the thought of Emma caring for another man hurt Hook...but I love that Emma is so honest with Hook. I love the fact the Hook ran up to the roof to help her, and how much it hurts him to see her hurting. It seems clear to me that this half of the season is going to feature Emma coming to realize that she CAN have a stable, meaningful relationship with a man she loves and who loves her to distraction. In short, she can have a relationship with Hook, even if she is the savior.
I love his expression when shes like glad to see you havent changed. you could see it hurt a bit, because he has changed. so much. for her. I also love the expression he makes when she says that what she wants is not in the cards for the Savior. I think he realizes for the first time that she to doubts her chance at a happy ending much like he does. that they're not that different.
I love how their relationship has evolved into something where they are more comfortable with each other and Emma is more open about how she really feels. She doesn't show that much emotion to anyone else. And "I came back for you." I died. The way he said it was so genuine, he wasn't even trying anything, he was just stating the fact that he'll always put her first :')
I love how honest he is with her. She's the reason he crossed realms to save her. Saving her family is an added bonus. You can tell Emma is happy about having her memories back. I understand her reluctants to jump back into all the chaos given everything she has to give up. Hook is one patience man.
Re-watching this after the finale gives me a whole new bunch of feelings. Just thinking about what he has just given up in order to get to Emma. I mean, I know that's prob not necessarily how it was played in the scene cause they don't know details like that yet in filming it but still, Colin plays Hook's reactions so well, it breaks your heart a little.
When I was watching this during the premiere, I remember being all teary-eyed during their dialogue and then bursting out laughing when Emma left and Hook immediately went for the bottle of liquor. He was just like, "I need booze. NOW." That would be my reaction to the episode, too (if I drank)
I loved this scene , them sharing a drink together , it felt like old times , the coconut sharing , the drink remembrance of neal before they thought he was dead, after hook saves david from dreamshade , After spending the night in the slammer of course hook would need a drink lol Emma knows just how to service her man ... bahahaahahaah I find it adorable that this is kind of their thing now in always having a drink together .. some where during and episode and I love it is SO A PIRATE THING ! THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS isn't this the main thing a pirate wants in a woman , someone they can kick back with but more than anything a tough lass who can hold their liquor. LMAO Killian has a keeper in Emma
Still have wonderful easy dialogue, and this scene is so wonderfully mature, I love this pairing, they are going to be the best romantic TL couple on this show when it happens. Cannot wait!
I just realized something; Both of them always said how they weren't meant to get happy endings. How Killian was a villain which meant he was destined to get a bad ending and how Emma said she was the savoir so it was "never in the cards" for her. But, bring these two together and they get one.
I love this, but got she wins the award for playing the most hard to get girl ever. He really deserves more and I love when she finally thanks him and kisses him at the end of this season!
Ok, so I'm back watching these and I keep thinking about how Emma's apartment has chains on the wall next to a poster about Jack Rackham, a pirate, who is known for inventing the (ahem) Jolly Roger flag. It's all in the details.
Hook is getting that innoyed that emmas got a boyfriend and doesn't want to leave her perfect life she has in new york hes reaching for the whole bottle of rum 🤣🤣
"...care about him too much to drag him into all this." And yet, you're dragging Hook into it, hell, not even dragging, Hook's going WILLINGLY. Damn. That's cold.
Hook is a fairytale character as far as Emma knew walsh was just a normal guy try explaining that your parents are snow white and Prince charming and see how that rolls over
The way he looks at her when he says "I came back to save you"....
he is so honest...'It wasn't anything for me in the enchanting forest'😍

"there wasn't anything for me in the enchanted forest" = you weren't there
lol how would Hook have gotten rid of Walsh???... I wonder what he would have said to him lol
Easy. Same sort of shit he told Rumple about Milah the first time around. "She's with me now," deal.
He probably would have either knocked him out or killed him
I love how Neal sends the potion hook given that they are rivals
I came back to save u squeeeeee there wasn't anything for me in the enchanted forest they're. Killing me!!!!

I would have liked to have seen how Hook would have gotten rid of Emma's boyfriend.

Hook said A Pirates Life in the first 10 seconds, the season 7x02 episode is called a Pirates Life as well, coincidental much?
"...care about him too much to drag him into all this." And yet, you're dragging Hook into it, hell, not even dragging, Hook's going WILLINGLY. Damn. That's cold.
To be fair hook has been in it his whole life he is a fiarytale character and as far as Emma knew walsh was just a normal guy

hook dragged himself into this LOL
