You are capable to do much more:). My brother started at age 6. He was playing complicated Van Halen songs and much more by 12 ( look em up:). You can learn to play incredibly, practice practice practice!

I'm VERY new to guitar and you've saved me time by showing songs that don't need chords. I was learning Sweet Home Alabama and was stuck what to do after I learned 3 chords. Having to figure out the rest of the song was a little frustrating. You've shown at least 10 chord free songs. Great for beginners until I improve. Thanks a bunch

Omg!! I am big beginner alot of videos don't help you they want you to move around on different frats make it difficult. Alot of people videos says beginners but they don't know what beginner means. Your video save my life omg brother.

I don't understand why alot of people videos says beginners knowing it's not. Why have a beginner move around on different frats up and down that's no beginner. You are the 1st real beginner. I know the basics. But doing it on 1 string helps so much thats a definition of a beginner. Thank you so much!

I was looking for a rock version for power chords but when you look at a rock version all they wanna do is play twiddle diddle solo's, that isn't necessary, just the fact that you've learned it for someone makes it special to them, you've given me the root notes so thank you, now I can go from here.

I used to play pretty basic guitar about 25 yr ago till I was pushed into playing bass in a friends rock band, which was ongoing till about 5 yr ago, I've never picked an instrument up since till I wanted to learn this for my best friend, I got the one string version smooth in about 15 mins then got cocky and thought I had plenty of time, ,, yeah, plenty of time turned into no time,,, as it always seems to lol.
Making barre chords with the root notes is easy, learning to play it that way took me hours, some of that is due to muscle memory for the bass, going for strings and frets in the wrong place but most of it was just total ineptitude and lack of talent but I messaged a recording of it to her this morn, it was still really rough, jerky and off time but she absolutely loved it just cos I'd made the effort. Make the effort people, it's worth it.
