- Making leanto shelter, beef jerky, all night fire, using a home made axe, no sleeping bag, sleeping with reindeer skins. Open the full video description for more information.
3 days in hail, wind and sun on the west coast of Denmark.
This is the short version of the video - here is the long version • Bushcraft trip - natur...
----------------------------
Location: Denmark - previous viking country. West coast of Jutland - sand, big sea, spruce and pine forrest. Some of the most remote in Denmark, but a lot of people in Denmark so limited how remote it can get. A lot of birds and deer. No bears only a few wolves - nothing dangerous for campers. If you want to do the same in Denmark do you need to be the owner or get the owners permission.
----------------------------
Consuming: Water, spruce tea. Cow, salt.
----------------------------
A few quick questions:
1. Do you sell?
No. Don't sell anything.
2. How long did it take to dry the meat?
About 6 hours. The wind, sun and salt helps the drying go faster.
3. what backpack are you using?
A modified M39 from the Swedish military. I have used mine for years. Very common in general here in Scandinavia.

Some of the gear used in the video:

3. Pants = made by "Klattermusen"
4. Axe = homemade

I've never been so calm in my entire life
you may have adhd my friend , being calm is something normal not the other way .
@Aimee Frost Booker catch
The guy is a maestro as is nagualero ,both these dudes are awesome.
This is the first of your videos I’ve watched Rune and I can’t begin to explain how much I enjoyed it! Thoroughly intoxicating - beautiful! Thank you!
I bet you slept better the second night! No matter how good you are at building fires you only get a couple hours rest before you have to get up and stoke the fire...at least when it’s cold. Award winning quality videos!!
Siempre comentas lo mismo
Another thing that I love about your videos is that I don't need to turn off the sound while watching at night in my bedroom, because the loudest noise I hear is the wood chopping axe 😉
Jesus your microphone is amazing.. It's like you have one down your sleeve lol

To live a simple lifestyle and with barely any modern equipment is the highest art. Love it.
Your videos are always so relaxing and inspiring ❤️
Keep it up ✊ 🌹
I love the Northern climate you live in... you have a very thick growth of moss that more southern climates can only dream about. The calm carefree attitude you have in these videos, reminds me of times that I experience all to few these days. Thank you for the time and effort you put into these vids.
These videos have replaced medicinal sleep aides. Thank you!
Greetings from Texas. I grew up in the deep forest in Louisiana and your videos remind me of my childhood. 💜💗👍🏾🙏🏾
Simplicity and sophistication in images. When I watch, it is impossible, impossible, not to want to be there too: "When we are close to nature, mystery and magic appear ..." Thank you
It really triggers me knowing that after every scene you have to go and grab the camera and set it up somewhere else and I can't stop thinking about it
Yeah, it's actually really good of him to break into what should be his journey and time to share it with us.
Not to mention the quality of the shots gotten along with everything else taking place. The guy is truly the best
me too haha. want to see behind

You are a wonderful Storyteller.
So very well crafted and intriguing. So peaceful.
I look forward to your next story, and until then, I will watch again some of the others.
Thank you.
That feeling... You're a living human again... Not robot.. Everybody must do this.. Nature relaxation..

Thank your Rune for making these great videos its so calming to see a man do what he loves to do and it doesnt give me a panic attack when you put that fire so close to your shelter and its to see someone smile like that
What a great, authentic video. Thank you for taking us. Outdoor greetings from Berlin / Germany
I always had the doubt of how the old warriors dried their meat during the days leading up to the battle. You answered all my questions without talking, great video!
I knew this had to be somewhere in Northern Europe/Scandinavia at first site. Has a whole other beauty to it than here the Pacific Northwest.
This is so awesome! Thank you for sharing and not adding commentary all over the place! Top notch quality and educational content!
Well Rune, your minimalist, using nature as is practice is really impressive. What seems, at first, to be the hard way you make seem relaxed & doable . Thanks for bringing me along. Brian 78
Do you have all weather tent, Ka bar BK2 bushcraft knife, super light weight sleeping bag, titanium cookware , half inch thick magnesium fire starter, rite in rain notebook with spacepen , Sawyer water filter , 511 tactical backpack , 550 paracord ? ?Ha!!!
Rune: Nopes. I have my hands and a ton of skill.
Your videos make me want to get out in the wild more. I need a break where I can just sit and stare at an ocean like that for hours. Amazing video as always.
Youre a very talented man. Thank you for sharing your art. Your videos were so calm ang relaxing. I like the sound of the fire and nature.

Greetings from Germany
All of your videos are just really fantastic and fascinating, I love them !
The first thing that surprised me was the unusual shape of your axe, it is surely a very good axe, no doubt about that. And the second bisarre thing was for me, that very strange knife of yours, I have never seen one like that before ! Whith my axe I use a Sami puukko knife 9cm blade for over 10 years now, and I was swearing it to be the best knife I ever had. But now I must give a try to the Yakut knife. I discovered these knives throughout your videos !
Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge and Keep on your wonderful videos ! 👍🏻

Watching this makes me zen thankyou keep it up
When I see the little ‘’Thanks for watching’’, I just want to live every day in the woods!
