So nice to showcase a caravan that’s actually being used, gives a great perspective of storage. Beautiful van
Glad you like it! 👍
Great video again. Nice to see someone who sells them actually uses them 👍
Thanks 👍
That’s an absolutely beautiful caravan
It is a lovely design and setup 👍
I want a Swift Elegance. Twin axle l shaped lounge with fabric cushions I think. Next year now but having looked extensively that’s the one for me. Great in depth look though, thanks.
Cracking podcast as usual Mark enjoy your holiday
Thanks 👍
I'm in love, what a beautiful van ❤
It is lovely 👍
With caravans costing upwards of £20k and some sites charging £50+ a night, caravaning is now the most expensive "cheap" holiday option. Add annual insurance, servicing and depreciation and it's a no brainer.
We sold ours and now go abroad 3 to 4 times a year. It's much much cheaper.
It's getting better now. 👍
Have a nice holiday.
Thanks 👍
Have a nice holiday
Thanks Stephen 👍
Got burnt with a Swift motorhome, never again. Coachman all the way 👍
@@rocketron9 I had a brand new Coachman last year. 2nd time of using it the bedroom window fall out traded it in for a Swift
I think everyone will have had a bad van with ever manufacturer at some point unfortunately. 👍
@@thecaravanplace Yes you are right what they charge for them you think they could box in the pipework and wiring under the seating and bed it’s all right them saying plenty of storage but you have to be careful not to do any damage, enjoy your coachman.
Can the underfloor heating be selected without the rest of the heating radiators being active? does the system have a multi-port valve to allow this? Thanks
I need to check 👍
Does it leak, like Swifts usually do?
We have found swift to be one of the best for leaks, as in not leaking 🤣
Swifts have big issues with rear panels splitting along the top and front sky windows split and swift will not honour with a warranty
So the seats…are a “pleather” or a vegan leather….but u also mentioned alcantara in the earlier video, which is a suede finish…is that in the inserts of the back cushion?
Lovely van, the decor is nice, I like the mixed up wood and white finishes, and the bed headboard looks interesting. Not too busy, not too plain, just the right balance of decor design I think.
Hard to explain a sort of leather 🤣🤣🤣
nice
Thanks👍
Is a Adria colorado a good caravan to buy new?
The Adrias are very nice, and some big discounts coming I hear 👍
Lot of work to empty it when you get back home before putting it back on the forecourt 😂
The worst bit 🤣👍
Remember to bring back a stick of rock for everyone so that's 26.5 thousand roughly 👍😂.
Will try 👍🤣🤣🤣🤣
What’s the new RRP on this van?
£33995 👍
That was like viewing my garage???
Don’t think 1 aquaroll will be able to cope with a van that size keep you busy filling it up
We actually only used about 80ltr of water, we smell very badly but did well with water 🤣🤣🤣
As nice as it may appear, this caravan will be a pain in the proverbial to tour Europe with.
You really need a substantial car to tow a caravan of this size, preferably a 4x4 and the length and width of the combination of car and caravan will make it nigh on impossible to negotiate the chicanes at the entrance to some French services, and as most people don't know what services have these chicanes, you could find yourself in the unenviable position of having to decide whether to damage your car or whether to damage your caravan.
I'd also add, on some continental sites the pitches are quite small so having an 8ft wide caravan could result in being unable to erect your awning.
there is also the issue (although I've never experienced this myself) of some continental sites not allowing twin axle caravans on site at all.
Thanks for all the positives 🤣🤣🤣
@@thecaravanplace I can certainly give you some positivity with this size outfit. We have a 2022 model Buccanner Commodore towed by a LR Discovery. So far I have been to the Dordogne region of France with 2 overnight stops both ways. Lake Annecy in the French Alps with stops both ways and Normandy. Also fit a 3 metre wide full Isabella awning with Annexe. Had no problems on any site but did pre book every site and mentioned I had twin axle. Glad we have 4wd motor mover though as the site at Lake Annecy impossible to reverse caravan on. Motorway services can be tight but take it steady and you’ll be fine.
@@thecaravanplace I'm sorry, It's a very nice caravan and I'm sure you'll sell it.
Unfortunately I'm just telling it as it is. We've been caravanning for over 20 years and we are currently looking for a new caravan, as we change ours every four to five years.
We went to the NEC last October and came away with nothing, as all the manufacturers appear to think anyone wanting a top end caravan wants 8ft wide and appear to be oblivious of the points I've raised!
The only normal sized caravans on offer were either the wrong layout, or mid and lower end range models.
We've booked to go again this year but if things have stayed the same, we may have to consider moving to a motorhome.
I think the manufacturers should be aware, not everyone wants 8ft wide.
Why all the excess sealant around the locker cover ? looks horrendous.
No such thing as "too much sealant" on a caravan 😊
@@WoolyChewbakkerSwift makers of the Kon Leaki motorhome 😂
Your payload might be less if you didn't take so much vegetable oil. 😂
New toy to try, chip fryer, could end in disaster 🙈🙈
Based on what you seem to have in the front locker and the van itself have you checked your nose weight????
Have you seen the tow truck, I'm trying to get to 750kg on the tow ball! This is not normal for everyday tow vehicles, I may add 👍
Must be a very heavy caravan
If I remember correctly around 1800kg MRO and just under 2000kg MTPLM 👍
Up plated my 835 to 2250kg but never needed it.
That must be overweight on the noseweight
Not so bad on twin axles as you will normally have a good margin if towing with a 4x4. I have to load right up with the Raptor and tows brilliant👍
@@thecaravanplace the Alko chsssis still has a 100kg maximum noseweight; regardless of tow vehicle.
