I always use that medication. I draw it down with an insulin syringe. I use alcohol wipes ti ensure the pen is clean. The medication is exactly the same as the rest. Never had any problem.
@CW-bf9ic Thank you for sharing your personal experience of taking the drug. I'm glad to hear you are doing well with no problems. My best wishes for your health.
@Islandlea333 it's more than just priming fluid. The pen is not designed to let it come out at the end but I tried some experiments to get it out. Check this video th-cam.com/video/hVQabWLKACk/w-d-xo.html
Hello i wish you answer me can i share my mounjaro kwikpen with someone else and only change the needle ? If not can i put inject the medication on on another syringe and give it to another one
Sharing any injectable drugs with needles among different patients continues to be a risk for transmitting some serious infections like hepatitis, HIV etc. Hence this is a highly discouraged practice among healthcare professionals. Normally, the pen is meant to be used by only one patient to ensure that there is no cross contamination of devices. If a new needle is used every time with an aseptic/clean technique then the fluid inside the pen device is clean. A new needle on same device is theoretically clean method but this practice is still highly discouraged as risk of any infection transmission (hepatitis/HIV/ other STI) is not worth being taken by such practice among unknown patients. Taking out fluid is even a worse option because we don't even know about efficacy of molecule once it is taken out of the air tight glass tube. In simple terms, the answer is "no", I'd highly discourage such practice for Patient's safety
Unfortunately this video doesn’t say how can we use this extra fluid and also it doesn’t clarify why it is not safe to use it…. Sorry but it doesn’t serve the purpose 😢
@madiharaiteb1389 it's a company fault and trying to get the fluid out is going to get contamination including mixing with broken plastic nanoparticles if too much force used. It's not a safe option... few ml fluid is not worth compromising on your safety and injecting things that may be carcinogenic causing serious health issues like cancers. The purpose of this video was to guide towards safety and not compromise on health for few ml of fluid.... please stay safe

With a bit of force, you are able to turn the pain to the number one dosage and administer the final fifth dose
I think they put extra in for priming in the uk. Either way thats still a dose.

I withdrew it today with insulin syringe and it is .8 ml which is around 4 mg means more than a full dose !! That's hefty money
How did you do it? Pls elaborate
I'm not sure how plastic from the dosage end could 1. Pass the grey seal and 2. Pass through the needle

We don’t have Kwik pen for Mounjaro in the US

It’s obviously mechanical limit because it’s exact medicine you take.
You can use it just turn it with force and boom you can use it I always do never a had a problem 😊
