Hurricanger was my first Sentai I watched and I loved it. I especially like that they kept shurikenger's identity a secret from everyone and his disguises were former Sentai Actor's
I've never seen Hurricanger only being familiar with them through the Gokaiger episodes so hearing there is a DVD set coming I think I'll look into importing a set (have a multi region DVD player fortunately)

I feel like hasbro will either make him come with two different helmets or actually have the top half turn like this on. And I feel like they would make the shield a soft rubber piece that can pop on and off

As for the baseball scene and whether or not it should have been in the US show, I would say yes since it would be a nice character based episode showing Cam evolve as a person.
I don't think the baseball bat would have been too silly for Ninja Storm. The season was already more comedic than usual PR seasons. Plus, we saw him rocking out with the guitar, so the baseball thing could've been implemented. Just say Cam got the idea from Cyber Cam or something!

The animation in this video was so good! I'm always so impressed by what you guys can do. I'm uploading a stop motion video myself pretty soon too, but it'll be nowhere near as good as your animations. Back when you started making videos on MMPRToys, it really inspired me to start learning VFX. After more than 5 years I'm still not really that great at it, but I'm getting better every time. :)

Hi Bruno, old Japanese figures tend to lose the glycerin over the years making them brittle...soak them on soapy warm water for 2 day's(yes I know it's a long time LoL 😋) each day replacing the soapy water. Then rinse it on the 3rd day with warm water for a short time and let air dry, trust me your figures will thank you 😉👍 If you do that every few months(I try to do it twice a year on some and once on other) you will never have an issue and they will last you a life time ☺. Them using that porous plastic is an issue that even some of today's figures have so please be aware 🤔

Same thing happened to one of my mumps automorphing figures back in the 90's. I made a temp claw arm out of tinfoil then eventually "fixed" it with silly putty.
I remember painting a mouth on my Green Samurai figure with white out when I got this when it first came out lol I was mad that the head for Super Samurai was tilted up 🙃

I remember when I was a kid I had all 6 of the Ninja Storm figures (I still do to this day). I was always disappointed because the Green Samurai Rangers couldnt turn his helmet. On top of that I lost the shield :(

Aw Bruno your toys are coming apart i feel terrible. you're doing all this for the Ninja Storm fans and this happens! I watched Hurricaneger recently and i actually really liked the baseball gimmick i thought i was really cool when we first see Shurikenger in his batting cage room. I think it would of been cool if cam was good at baseball and thats why they decide to do that. They could have set up a whole episode with cam hiding that he was the Green ranger from everyone practicing his swing and whatnot. It really felt reminiscent to Merrick/Gaosilver and their love of pool. and they did do a teamup attack in Gaoranger vs Hurricaneger

I use to get all my Toku stuff from Toys and Joys but sadly all retailers in Hawaii went bank rupt and there’s no more anymore...I got my first figuarts there

I do not have the hurricanger ones I do have the raptors from abaranger and deka breaks bike from dekaranger. The arms for deka break figure came off the same way yours right now did with shurikenger. The same with the abra black one arm broke off the same way. Thanks for showing me how you fixed yours.

You did not have what I'd consider a main line figure that did that. You had the Green Samurai Ninja Battle figure. The 12 inch figure could do it too.

Technically Shurikenger's finishing move did make it to the US eventually via the final battle against Marvo in Super Megaforce.
