I've watched at least 6 of these costume dramas. I like this one the best. The heroines are great. Of course it's like a fairy tale, but that's what keeps me watching 40 episodes !!! I alo enjoyed Novoland Pearl Eclipse very much. It had 48 episodes. I'm almost 70 years old and seeing William Chan in his white robe is sweet. I thought I was too old to even notice his sex appeal. Around episde 30 is 😊

I'm going to start watching this all over again in case I didn't catch some little detail. These people are great to spend time with.
Omg that’s what am going to do lol! Because I read the comments on the latest episode and realised I missed so many small details .. I am still not sure who is the bad person in this drama. The main leads dad or the boss he works for. Do you think the main girl is the illegitimate daughter of the empress? Also I was wondering why the inspectors hand trembled when he saw the main girl ? At first I thought he wanted to make her his concubine. But now I think he knows her origin .
@@jaykay2729 See, you picked up on a more possibilities than I did. The subtitles go by pretty fast and maybe they don't pick up some of the subtleties. Even though I'm apprehensive about where it all might lead, I love that there are so many more episodes to come.

导演应该多注意点常识性的细节。 一开始那女的用竹竿划筏子就不对。竹杆乃篙可用撑筏而不是当作浆来划。
天天撑伐的人， 怎么还这么白， 一点点都不真实， 看5分钟就弃剧了。

柳岩洗衣服的动作，一看就是不会，硬生生表演，好别扭

美的不一样，而且刘亦菲是纯中国人，不像张柏芝有混血基因，所以刘这么美已经很不容易啦
