GQ351C - V8 GQ Patrol Bogged on the Beach in Robe S.A

This was the lead up to getting bogged on the beach as I was trying help the Y62 Patrol owner that was stuck.
The plan was to try and drive around them in order to pull them out, but that didn't go to plan as the sand was dragging me into their path, so I had to shut her down early. Once I stopped, it was only then when I realised that earlier on just before we got in this situation, we had aired up to 22 psi as we were racing one another on the beach and I forgot to lower the pressure back down to 12psi 🤦‍♂️
So after lowering the pressures back down, we were literally able to back out of the situation 😂😂
Once we were out, I was going to re-attempt getting past the Y62 that was stuck, but the Mrs talked me out of it and wanted me to get to the higher part of the beach.

@Peters GQ351C Ah okay all good mate. Was the adapter plate all you need to adapte the gearbox?

@Ben Humphrey if you watch the video, it is all explained in detail, but I also had to make an extended clutch throwout bearing carrier as the adapter made the original one run off the front gearbox shaft by the time it reached the clutch.

@Jamie Mackintosh If you're referring to the Y62 Patrol owner, yes we got him out using a number of Maxtrax and a lot of shoveling just in time before the tide reached him....mind you it was a very close call as some of the waves pushed right up to his tyres at some stage 😬😬
