This stunning park is located along the Hudson River in New Jersey and is a great place to explore nature and history. Whether you’re looking for a challenging hike, a peaceful walk, or a scenic lookout, there’s something here for everyone. Here’s a guide to the trails, hiking, history and lookouts of the Palisades Interstate Park.
The Trails: With over 50 miles of trails, the Palisades Interstate Park has something to offer for all levels of hikers and trail runners. The trails range from easy to moderate, with a few challenging routes for the more experienced hikers. Some of the must-see trails include the Long Path, the Shore Path as well as the connecting trails.
Hiking: The Palisades Interstate Park is a great place to go hiking. There are several trails that offer breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the surrounding area. The park also has numerous lookouts, so you can stop and take in the stunning views.
History: The Palisades Interstate Park is home to a historic fort from the Revolutionary War. You can take a guided tour of the fort to learn about the history of the area. Additionally, there are several other historic sites in the park, such as the Gilded Age ruins that we explore in Part 2.

Thanks for video. Due a video on Palisades Giant stairs long trail. We did it yesterday with rain it was beautiful make sure bring snacks and lots of water. We parked at Alpine marina and due 5hrs parking for sure not done in 3hrs
