Hey Mel, I've spent a lot of time in Nepal, and my last visit was in November 2023, marking my 12th time being there. I stayed for a month (short stay, usually 5-6 months for climbing and trekking. It feels like a second home to me, Nepalis are one of the nicest people that I met in all my travels. Meron Filipino community dyan and most Nepalis knows Filipinos dahil sa work nila sa UAE. Though I seldom meet Filipino travelers sa area.Next time check Pokhara and Chitwan na din. Pashupatinath temple is a holy place para sa mga Hindus.

Food poisoning is so common there, pag na miss ko pinoy food I always eat sa YinYang restaurant in Thamel (Thai food) at least medyo malapit sa atin.Safe travels!

Yung sa tibet grabe din yun sa patay nila,meron silanh tinatawag na sky burial na kung saan pinapakain nila sa mga volture yung mga patay naman.😊meron din ata sa india ganyan kaso natigil na nila ang practice
