i have a question regarding clocksprings, i have a polo 6R SE basically the same car as in this video mine is a 2010 too, anyways, for some time now when i turn the steering wheel, i can hear a low creaking sound when turning either side, today i took the top cover off the steering wheel and inspected from all angles, to my surprise the front cover face has come off the clockspring and is loose and i can slightly see the ribbon on the inside through the edges, tried pushing the front cover back in without taking the wheel off but no look and to add the clockspring is working fine as my car does not have the buttons on the wheel and the horn works perfectly, just the creaking that has bothered me for some time and now seeing that the cover has come off makes me wonder was this creaking due to the clockspring. what are your thoughts? how is it possible for the front cover to come loose or is that normal for it to be loose?
hi, what are the torque nm/numbers when tightening the bolt for the steering wheel? i have the same car as this video and same steering wheel and wanted to replace my clock spring also as this steering wheel did not have buttons, why was it necessary to re code the new clockspring?
Eish my 250 Polo 2010 steering wheel is hard and i bought a second hand power steering pump which was work on the other car but not working on my car, what could be the possible fault? I'm from Johannesburg SA and we love your content.

Does the steering angle sensor light affect the steering wheel to be hard or stiff?
