Nahhh. I'm from Malaysia but still wearing yellow color. That yellow color only banned because Unless you are attending a Bersih rally along with thousands of others, seeking electoral reform and for the Prime Minister to stand down, you can happily wear yellow. You probably heard that last year supporters were in principal banned from wearing yellow tee shirts. People continued to wear them.
The KINDER EGG thing is actually a technicality about having non eatable ingredients (plastic) "inside" food items (chocolate shell), in 1938 the FDA initially made the law to stop stuff like cellulose (wood chips) in peanut butter as a filler. The choking hazard reason is just a thing spread by the news every 10 years when they have a slow day.
People always think it's because someone ate the toy, but kinder eggs were banned because they violated a 1930s law against non-nutritive objects in food.
Ashley and Brandel have been paired up together a lot since she "asked him out" and I know that I shouldn't be nosy, but I've been wondering if that ever became anything ever since that video. I, personally as an outsider who knows nothing about either of them, find them both adorable and want the answer to be yes if they are actually a good fit in each other's lives. I know I don't actually need to know because I don't know them, but I am extremely curious.
As a Canadian baby who flew down the basement steps in a walker and was caught by my grandma just before my head hit the wall, I may have something to do with that banning.
The Kinder Egg ban in U.S.A reminds me of the Wonderball ban, where they couldn't have stickers inside the chocolate ball anymore because of the same reason.

As a Canadian, I (according to my parents) was one of those babies that tumbled down the stairs in a baby walker. TWICE. First time was an accident, second time was apparently because baby me learned how to open the baby gate and wanted to attempt the stairs again.
My mom used to call flip-flops thongs. My daughter and son in law were over for dinner one day and I was talking to my mom on the phone, on speaker. She said, I got a new pair of thongs today. My daughter and s.i.l. did the slow motion, "stop eating, slow eye raise" to me. I laughed my ass off and told them, She means flip-flops. And yes, I have gotten hit with a flip-flop. Getting hit with a thong sounds so much worse!
the stairs one is quite obvious. Kinder eggs contained some small toys in them, hence the ban. SG yes, chewing gum sales are banned. 9:30 - 9:38 interesting take! 10:16 it's not entirely true that there are zero dustbins around SG. The high heels I thought for sure you were gonna say Italy, because there are areas in there too where they're banned amongst other footwear, because it's just impractical for the steep hills and stairs. And I guess they're banned in (areas of) Greece for similar reasons.
That was a lot of fun! It's weird to see what's banned, and why. The only thing that makes sense is the baby walkers, because of stairs And it was funny to see when you announced the winners. Everybody else was either yea! or ahhh! Martine and Jillian were so supportive!
I once ordered a durian bubble tea at a Vietnamese restaurant because I had heard that Adam Zimmern didn't like it. I was with a group of my sister's friends and it tasted like pureed trash...but I kept my composure and then said "It is just amazing how great it tastes!" One of her friends, who considers himself an "adventurous eater," took the cup right out of my hands on instinct and then tried it...and reacted dramatically disgusted! He was so confused of the difference between my statement and reaction that he even tried it again!

Singapore ban chewing gum sales, not chewing gum in general, and its most certainly not just because of that reason😭. The reason was a gum got stuck between the mrt
not just there. but also lift panel all. damn lucky last time where I stayed in serangoon they hadn't built the lifts yet, so the chewing gum was on the staircase. but still, that thing was an eyesore.
Turns out, durian stinks because of it's genetics. “The researchers think this boost in activity was linked with another gene they found called ACS, which regulates the production of ethylene, a plant hormone involved in ripening,” wrote the Australian Broadcasting Corporation
