Romania's defense was good, the blocks and the digs was exciting to watch. I was rooting for them to win since they're the underdogs. I hope they continue that kind of playing. Congrats!

неожиданно. румыния удивила. переиграть самую неудобную и тягучую сборную - это нелёгкая задача для любой команды из мирового топа, а тут 3-1 и полный контроль по ходу матча

Amazed me by the unexpected performances of team Romania. Undoubtedly outstanding. Calin and Rata played very well. Congratulations and good luck. For France team, Ngapeth was not in good form. Poor servings though. Only Louati was good in this match.

Congratulations! A tear comes to my eye when I see what the guys have maintained for many years. I've always loved volleyball to such an extent that when I was young, I dreamed of playing the sport and joined a club. In 2014, we achieved the World Championship, what emotions! We played every match to the end, and each one brought so much excitement. I'll never forget the thrilling matches against Brazil, especially Wlazły, who was incredible, he was always my idol.
All of this has been working in our team for a long time, volleyball at the highest level. I'm proud, that's for sure :) Each era corresponds to a different discipline. Just like in the past when we watched the ski jumper who was winning everything - Adam Małysz in my childhood, and we jumped off the couch to be like him ,watchin from grandmother to mother and children..meant just everybody that time in Poland and as everyone was stressed when Hannavald jumped who was in a long time best competitor of Małysz . Now we have a sport that dominates, and we can be proud that we're the best in it.
I don't understand the phenomenon of Polish football and why still its nr.1 and so much money is poured into it and from 30 years team doesnt bring any progress. I know that the viewership of this sport is huge, and I assume that's where the earnings come from. That’s what’s oposite site of volleyball and i think the cause this sport we can call still a sport rivalization .
I believe that precisely because the earnings aren't enormous, and to make money, you have to achieve something, it gives volleyball players motivation to achieve success. On the one hand, it's a shame that volleyball isn't as well-paid, at least for our team. On the other hand, it doesn't go to the players' heads. They know they have to be the best to earn money. In football, some are content with playing in the top league and earning €20,000 a month, losing their motivation at a young age because they're satisfied with such income.
Returning to the matter of bonuses that our government wanted to give to football players (I don't like politics, don't take this as me going in that direction), I believe that promoting sports and awarding bonuses to volleyball players who represent our country and achieve significant successes, thus promoting our nation, would be a good thing. Kudos to the guys (addressing the volleyball players) for being yourselves, always treating opponents with respect, and never considering yourselves as favorites. This confirms what has been happening in this sport for a long time - the pursuit of every title and a constant hunger for success on every stage.
Comparatively, and reluctantly so, to football players, I believe there's a lack of the desire to win, to fight for titles. I even think the national football team should be replaced by the U21 and U19 teams who achieve successes and are hungry for victories and titles, rather than players who don't have the sense that playing with the eagle on their shirts means giving their all. I was born in 1994, and my idol back then was Maciej Żurawski, who played for Celtic Glasgow. From that time, I started getting interested in football in general. We didn't have as many players playing abroad then, so I followed every Celtic match, proud that we had a representative who was a star in a foreign team.
Now we have so many players in top European clubs, and I don't see the desire to fight in any match. I feel like when they play for the national team, they're cautious not to get injured because they know they earn money there, and they have to perform to earn a lot. That's why I think football has lost quality over the years, and players have become one-person businesses that have nothing to do with sporting competition. In my opinion, it should be the other way around - playing for the national team should be the reward and the source of pride. So, I think that players from U19 and U21, who don't earn huge amounts of money, would contribute the most to the national team. They are hungry for success and are eager to build their football CVs. I believe this would create healthy competition, something that's currently lacking.
I apologize for going on about a different sport in a place where volleyball is the topic. I'm a fan of both sports, and I believe we should take many lessons from volleyball, especially in terms of mental preparation. Volleyball players have to deal with immense pressure for years. Unlike football players, their tournaments are often so intense that they play matches day after day. Despite exhausting games, they stay focused and don't consider themselves the best, even though they are, and they have the right to say so. They continue to earn the fans' respect, the media's respect, and respect from their biggest rivals. This is an example that's going out into the world, and I'm proud of it. I interpret this as a team like yours, on the international stage, not only excelling athletically but also representing and showing Polish qualities that we should be associated with - being humble, hardworking to achieve success, not arrogant, respecting everyone, both on and off the field. You show this, and I have great respect for it. I'm in the same age group as some of you, and I've always been and will remain a loyal fan.
I still believe that volleyball is a highly underrated sport, and it's my dream for this sport to be number one in Poland. I live abroad, and when someone asks which sport is the most popular, I say volleyball. I'm proud to confidently say that we are triple world champions and achieved European championships twice in a row in 2014 and 2018, which are successes that make volleyball number one now! Sorry for my long speech; if someone disagrees, feel free to write. It's just my opinion, and I don't want to offend anyone. High five!

Just wanna clarify something - the commentator doesn't know Romanian and the coach seems a bit pissed, but when he's talking to the team he's actually really encouraging. At the end of the first set he was like 'it's all right, guys. They defend, we defend, we play volleyball. He can still take it! Let's go!'
I've actually seen him live and I know he can get really frustrated on the side, but I'm glad he's talking really nice to the players during time-outs

really tough for ngapeth, hope he can back to his best performance asap. romania was crazy and i believe they can be a gold medalist as long they can stay on that really2 awesome play. they have a good blocker, both bela n calin play really and also the libero just like pawel zatorski (?). they hitter just also done their job perfectly, with dumitru with unexpected set. its not hard for them to beat us, poland, or brazil if they can consistent from technique and mentalllll. congrats roumania, really deserve🇹🇩
