And im not sure about the behind-the-back camera angle in some scenes. Looks like an action game. But i like how they captured the bustling city atmosphere. P4 looked so rural (because it was, but even if it was set in a city, i doubt the PS2 could handle the setting with this many NPCs).

Delayed till summer 2016.. thats a whole 6 months.. what was the point of repeatedly telling people the game would be out in NA 2015? They had to have known. If it was a short delay, Atlus USA could have said, ok it was a last minute delay, we were off slightly.. but to be off by six months? They had to have known this delay was coming, because you cant overshoot an estimate by that big a margin. This means they lied to us. A bold faced lie. Oh well, Im happy anyway. Got so much to play this holiday season anyway, so no big deal. Take your time and make it even better.

I think this is either the boss battle theme or an event boss battle theme like 'Almighty' for Ameno-Sagiri in Persona 4. Anyway another great Persona 5 song from musical genius Shoji Meguro-sama, the god of music. Persona 5 will have the soundtrack of all time.
XDrumble3 Because the man is literally a genius. Just look at all the soundtracks he has composed. He is very versatile having composed soundtracks ranging from rock/ (moody and melodic) metal to techno and rock combined, jazz, rap and hiphop to even JPop and JRock. He even has an epic orchestral/ military march soundtrack under His name. And now with Persona 5, again He shows how good he is in creating music. For Persona 5 we get acid jazz. His ability to create a memorable and catchy sound that you won't get tired of even after listening to it so many times. A very gifted and talented musician and I love every song of Shoji Meguro. More people need to know of this man. I hope Persona 5 creates even more Meguro fans.

RyuHaruse you got to put the work in, just learn the language (at least the kanji) if you want to hear the japanese voices. Otherwise your going to be stuck with english dub when it releases stateside.

I really love the stylized and very different look this game has on itself already. the colors and the designs seem to pop and stand out a lot more with the hard patterns and vibrant colors. this feels like a game that's going to be easily very visually appealing and focused as well as being very balanced and well made game play wise. hopefully the story and characters will live up to expectations. so far I am extremely prepared to fall in love with this game completely. My main concern is what kind of twist they're going to put on the social link system and how much of a role the velvet room will play considering we haven't seen too much of it so far.

This is amazing! This covers so much from the last trailer we got! So now we know how they summon the personas. So while some, including myself, thought that the yellow eyed protagonist with blood on his face was actually a shadow, from this trailer we now know that their masks are a mean of summoning their personas and ripping them off is the trigger to doing so. That's really friggin cool. Taking off their masks could reflect on how they're "revaling their true selves"

With a friend we are making a pc game. It has took us six months to just design the main character and plus some escenarios. It's a long way to make a game just by two persons I know. Atlus is big and they can take their time. There are like 3 games waiting with Persona to released. We just have to be more pacient, I believe that in the end all the hype and wait will be worth it. At the very beginning of the trailer, there are 4 human characters and the cat running instead of the usual 3. I think one of them is a character we haven't seen yet. So there must be more than just these characters as party members.

I called that it might be Bryce Papenbrook myself but who knows at this point. Tho I am rooting for Johnny to be the MC again even tho he was in Persona 4, and he was in tons of games for that. I hope Atlus don't mind using him again as the main MC tho but I'm still betting on Bryce. Pretty sure they won't recycle the same VA, especially since Narukami has stuck his Aids infested dick into everything for the past 7 years. I'm hoping for Flynn's VA from SMT 4, it fits both of them even though he never said much of anything outside "Burroughs"

I'v enjoyed the results of past localizations of Persona games, here's hoping it's dubbed great while keeping all the Japanese culture, a option for original Japanese voices would also be cool.

These new personas look pretty awesome, though I couldn't guess who/what they're based on (other than generally novel characters maybe?). Also the couple of shadows we saw look pretty neat too.
Yea I'm a bit sad they didn't go with Ancient Egyptian mythology especially since you have the theme featuring chains, cats since cats are worshiped, skull mask for Osiris, ad bird mask for Ra or Horus. but using literary characters is a cool idea. Morgana is Zoro, Ryu is maybe black beard of etc, and MC is Lupan and maybe his ultimate will be Robin Hood maybe

Delayed till summer 2016.. thats a whole 6 months.. what was the point of repeatedly telling people the game would be out in NA 2015? They had to have known. If it was a short delay, Atlus USA could have said, ok it was a last minute delay, we were off slightly.. but to be off by six months? They had to have known this delay was coming, because you cant overshoot an estimate by that big a margin. This means they lied to us. A bold faced lie.
Oh well, Im happy anyway. Got so much to play this holiday season anyway, so no big deal. Take your time and make it even better.

That's really something that's just true of people in general, but it's more pronounced in the games industry because game development isn't as established or efficient as other industries. Movies don't really have delays, because it's a more exact science - there might be some hurdles to overcome, but not things like programming bugs, etc; books can sometimes be delayed, but the audience there is quite different, and I would argue more willing to accept delays.
Making games is an imprecise science, and there's a lot that goes into making a game. Quality developers like Atlus never lie about release dates, they provide estimates - sometimes those estimates are extremely accurate, and sometimes they are wishful. If you look at game release dates as anything more than estimates, that's a mistake you're making.

I think this is either the boss battle theme or an event boss battle theme like 'Almighty' for Ameno-Sagiri in Persona 4. Anyway another great Persona 5 song from musical genius Shoji Meguro-sama, the god of music. Persona 5 will have the soundtrack of all time.

What is with Shoji and his ability to make awesome music? Literally, most if not all games hes worked on have good soundtracks.
XDrumble3 Because the man is literally a genius. Just look at all the soundtracks he has composed. He is very versatile having composed soundtracks ranging from rock/ (moody and melodic) metal to techno and rock combined, jazz, rap and hiphop to even JPop and JRock. He even has an epic orchestral/ military march soundtrack under His name.
And now with Persona 5, again He shows how good he is in creating music. For Persona 5 we get acid jazz. His ability to create a memorable and catchy sound that you won't get tired of even after listening to it so many times. A very gifted and talented musician and I love every song of Shoji Meguro. More people need to know of this man. I hope Persona 5 creates even more Meguro fans.

I really love the stylized and very different look this game has on itself already. the colors and the designs seem to pop and stand out a lot more with the hard patterns and vibrant colors. this feels like a game that's going to be easily very visually appealing and focused as well as being very balanced and well made game play wise. hopefully the story and characters will live up to expectations. so far I am extremely prepared to fall in love with this game completely. My main concern is what kind of twist they're going to put on the social link system and how much of a role the velvet room will play considering we haven't seen too much of it so far.
Ryuji officially has the most badass looking Persona out of the cast so far. It's literally an undead pirate captain.

This is amazing! This covers so much from the last trailer we got! So now we know how they summon the personas. So while some, including myself, thought that the yellow eyed protagonist with blood on his face was actually a shadow, from this trailer we now know that their masks are a mean of summoning their personas and ripping them off is the trigger to doing so. That's really friggin cool. Taking off their masks could reflect on how they're "revaling their true selves"

With a friend we are making a pc game. It has took us six months to just design the main character and plus some escenarios. It's a long way to make a game just by two persons I know. Atlus is big and they can take their time. There are like 3 games waiting with Persona to released. We just have to be more pacient, I believe that in the end all the hype and wait will be worth it.

At the very beginning of the trailer, there are 4 human characters and the cat running instead of the usual 3. I think one of them is a character we haven't seen yet. So there must be more than just these characters as party members.

I think the painter and fox guy are one in the same, we see him have the fox mask at one point. So now were down to mc, Morgana, Ryu, Anne, painter, an at least one unknown support character( most likely female)
They are going to make Morgana turn into a nekomimi in the first half of the game, im sure

I'v enjoyed the results of past localizations of Persona games, here's hoping it's dubbed great while keeping all the Japanese culture, a option for original Japanese voices would also be cool.

+MyWayfinder I doubt any localization can be as bad as the first Resident Evil, dubbing has come a long way, if you've ever read through Japanese gaming forums (translated)you'll see that nobody's complaining about the voice acting for localized games there, like GTA5, Last of Us, and Arkham Knight because that have top notch dubbing, and so do we.

I think it's cool how the core game and everything is basically finished and thag they're just adding more things to it to make it more fun and memorable, as well as making sure it doesn't tank from game breaking bugs at release.
makes my hype raise higher that at least they care to not give us a broken game.

These new personas look pretty awesome, though I couldn't guess who/what they're based on (other than generally novel characters maybe?). Also the couple of shadows we saw look pretty neat too.
Maybe Morgana's is Zorro?
Yea I'm a bit sad they didn't go with Ancient Egyptian mythology especially since you have the theme featuring chains, cats since cats are worshiped, skull mask for Osiris, ad bird mask for Ra or Horus. but using literary characters is a cool idea. Morgana is Zoro, Ryu is maybe black beard of etc, and MC is Lupan and maybe his ultimate will be Robin Hood maybe
I'm thinking the painter guys persona might be Alibaba (leader of the fourth thrives) and the pirate might be Davy Jones since we've already stepped out of the realm of mythology and into classic lit with Arsène.

jokesterr119 yeah i just saw the what looked like a turban and the tunic. added with the stance he was making, plus adding in the whole 'thieves' thing it would make sense. but i couldn't get a close look at him.
