- Hey guys, today I was getting ready for a fun night out with friends... I may have ended up losing an earring or two lol. I went all out with a dark cool toned galaxy glitter and orange framing. I used the Viseart Grande Pro 1 for all my matte tones and the GRANDE PRO 2 for the very first time for my duochrome and glitters!!! I hope that you enjoy. I will be pulling out this guy for a lot more looks, don't worry. Thanks so much for everything. XO

From memory, the negativity started when a couple of Y'tubers decided that since the Theory palettes (the small ones) were made in the USA and not France that they were lesser shadows (what ?) and have continued to say so for the last couple of years and uite a few Yt's have repeated what has been said.. They also said the shimmers were no good, even when explained they have to be subtle, so filming cameras do not get dazzled. I heard that they have said Viseart shimmers are not good so they are not buying this palette. Clearly not read the write-ups that explain that these are 6 completely new finishes. But haters love to hate. I can not be bothered to watch them anymore, as we know negative vids get more views. Me, well I am in my makeup room applying Viseart (also Natasha Denona and Melt Cosmetic Pigments) to my heart's delight. You look amazing. Your creativity knows no ends.
Ohh, I see, what a shame! Thank you for your positivity! I tend to just not feature products I don't love instead of bashing them. Have you purchased this new palette?

Jessica Kent Yes I love what I have tried. The formula is the same as the two holiday palettes from last year. There is a gold/green duo chrome that I keep staring at. There are different finishes. Each Gold has a different texture. There is a foil that is so reflective. It is superb. Oddly the two blues work very well. I am delighted with it. I love the Safari too. That I use everyday x

I've been using the Viseart original 12 pan matte palettes for years now on myself & clients and so when I got the vol 1 I had high hopes but unfortunately noticed that they just don't perform the same (I did a 10 looks 1 palette using them) - my experience was that they don't blend as well and some shades are patchy plus muddy together. Don't get me wrong, I can make them work and get a decent look out of them but I just wish the formula was the same. Vol 2 is on the way to me so I hope it performs better since there are new formulas. The look you created was stunning though and I'm happy that both palettes work out for you!
You know, a friend of mine was having issues with her GP1 too. I forget if she got it through muse or if it was beautylish, but the company sent her a new one and she said it was way better. I wonder if there was an off batch?
I got mine off Beautylish because of free shipping to Australia. Oh dear, I'm glad your friend has got a better one now but that does worry me if there are inconsistencies with batches!
@@melissagold2559 yeah, I never got to check out her original one so it's hard for me to say, but I think she's pretty good at judging makeup. Too bad you don't enjoy yours :/

You're so good at working with the eye shape in the most flattering way. Are you self taught? It's really inspiring. I have what I consider to be a difficult eye shape to work with and I'm trying to learn how to flatter it. I have the pro one and the dark mattes and I use them almost daily. Viseart is not canceled for me in any sense
Thank you so much! My degree is in painting. Also when I worked at Sephora they had a certification process I went through, but, yes, I'm self taught with makeup. What kind of eye shape do you have? I love the dark mattes too!

Excellent point about the patting vs. swiping re: temptalia swatches. I suspect that may have been the issue as well HOWEVER I quite enjoyed the looks she posted using the shadows. In the end that's what matters right?
I liked her looks a lot too!! You know, that's an excellent point! I've seen shadows swatch well and apply a mess and vice versa. It's all about how it looks on 😊

I have the Grande Pro 1 and LOVE it! I haven't always loved Viseart's shimmery formulas so I've held off on ordering #2 until reviews came out. I also checked in w/ the brand and they confirmed they will be sold at Beautylish in November so I'll probably pick it up from them next month. (Not a fan of MUSE's return policy and I'd rather support Beautylish.)
I was happy to see that these shimmers pack serious punch this time around. I love all the variety they managed to stuff into this one palette (which is why it's taking me forever to test everything out thoroughly). In the past I've used their shimmer on clients who wanted very subtle, natural shimmer... not enough glitz for my personal taste.

This is such an amazing look Jessica!!! Would you mind sharing why you have petechia on your face? I get them pretty often on my back and shoulders from purse straps, seatbelts, etc but have recently gotten them on my face after practicing headstands, lol. I know they can be from blood thinners or low of vitamin C but neither of those apply to me and doctors can’t give me an answer as to why I get them so badly. Thanks and I hope you had fun at the bachelorette party!
I'm the same way. I get them from the littlest things like scratching, laughing, working out, stress.. who knows 🤷♀️ For me, lupus affects my blood count which can cause them. I did have fun at the party, thanks! I dont usually drink, so I was OUT after my second 🤦♀️ 😂
I'd love an updated brushes too. I just love every single eye look you do and your opening. Seriously you're like my favorite channel. And we have many of the same eye palettes. I also have every 5 pan natasha has done lol

Aww you're so sweet! Thanks for saying that. I will film a favorites in brushes for you! Are you getting ND's Cranberry and Mini Star palettes? I was SO disappointed to see that she repeated shades from the large Star palette... I was looking forward to an extention of those shades not repeats 🤨
As for the mixing medium.. it's so hard for me to tell the difference between mixing mediums tbh. It's not like painting where it's super obvious what kind you're using and how. With these, i could grab either the inglot or esum and not know the difference 🤷♀️

@@bethanypenn9646 i take it back! I did a side by side test of the inglot vs esum. Boy are they didferent. They both worked well to intensify and set for a lot of the shadows, but the last column.. the ones with the glitter honedtly don't adhere well with the inglot. I would say that esum is thinner in consistancy and easier to work with for shadows like these.

Tough question.. I'm actually still testing this new palette out! I'd say that it's a toss up, and you won't be disappointed with any of those brands. I think it would depend on your personal preferences in shade selection. If shimmer is what you're going after though I might go with this one since it's all shimmer.
