I think a lot of people don't really understand how phenomenal his talent is. There is a very low percentage of OUTSTANDING guitarists that can play this well. This guy deserves a way bigger spotlight.

he's insane, to get one semi-deceny cover of Horizons it took me roughly 6 months out of the 2 years I've been playing just to play the notes right, then around an hour to get a recording that sounded okay. probably because I haven't been playing anywhere near as long as dooo has but still, it's incredible how he can just play these songs with ease, regardless of them being his own songs or not
Well, we aren't really sure if he did this all in one take. It is very common to record music then overlay the recorded audio with video of the playing. Obviously TheDooo is incredibly skilled but even professional guitarists don't always play their own work perfectly, especially work such as this which is filled with techniques (pinch harmonics, octave harmonics, etc) that require incredible accuracy to get the perfect sound.

1 of the best parts about watching passionate guitarists is the emotion on their faces when they play I know it's the dooo's thing to keep his face out of picture but damn it would be awesome to see that on his own music
The level of skill to play a harmony with yourself @4:45 is just insane. I mean, the skill level is all 3 solos is just insane, but that's on another level. How you don't have albums out like Joe Satriani and the like baffles me. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Cause not much people nowadays listen to stuff where you play instruments they just want some pretty as dude singing in a female voice and showing nudity in their mvs they dont like these videos where you need a fuck ton of talent and dedication i remember there was a guy in our xlass he was famous among the chicks ,at the annual day he said he will sing he then brought his accoustic and played a justin bieber song and all the females present there started to cheer for him you wont believe me he just repeatedly played 4 chords and all of them were like wow he got more famous i also participated i brought my electric me and two more guy we played at that day we were playing some bfmv and avx but only two three people cheered for us and each of them were guys they were our seniors that day ended up being worse nothing went as expected i realized like talent doesnt matter only looks matter

I was there when you first uploaded Acsend, and I used to listen to it every day pretty much all day for about a year. Now I’m 20 and still can’t get enough. It just brings be back to a simpler time. Thanks for being awesome and having a part in my childhood
TheDooo is a virtuoso that not only can recreate what other high level musicians play but writes his own music and has the insane ability to hear a song and then play it back nearly duplicating it without ever practicing. There are a handfull of guys like him that have ever lived, none of whom gave it away for free as he does.
