    The very first time I visited Haiti, I stayed in Okay. Such a beautiful place! I hope you get a chance to go to Port Salut 😊

      I’ve been to Port-Salut! The beach we went to there is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been to! There are so many opportunities for tourism in the South Department.

    Thank you for yet another amazing video! Would love to see a blog of your work when you do visits. I had to look up bread fruit 😅. That hotel did a great job in preserving nature around it. Love that they used the fruits from the trees to make juices.

      Unfortunately I can’t vlog while I’m on a visit because it’s in a health care setting & it’s important to protect the privacy of the beneficiaries.

      @@ruttyb I understand 100% that you can't vlog in a healthcare setting. It would be a HIPAA violation. Can you explain in a vlog what you do when you visit or what you do for for work in general? Thank you. PS: I'm a new subscriber. Just found you and I love your videos! I also love Samy's music!

    How much is the flight on average?

    • @ruttyb
      @ruttyb  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Happy birthday! 🎉
      It’s way too expensive! One way for CAP - PAP - CYA was $242. So round trip was $484. & that’s cause I booked early. If I waited closer to the date, it would have been more expensive. They have two prices on their site. The cheaper option is available for a short period of time.

    since you work in haiti, and maybe missed it, how do you use the banking system there? I wondered if I worked remote in haiti, how to access my money

    • @ruttyb
      @ruttyb  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I use two different bank accounts, both USD & gourdes. They are similar to bank accounts in the States. You just have to make sure to set up your online account & download the apps. I receive wire transfers without any issue.

    What do you think about Sunrise.The price of the ticket ?

    • @ruttyb
      @ruttyb  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Way too expensive! Everything about them is a scam in my opinion. I’ve had way more bad experiences than good. But it’s the only option so I have to keep flying with them.

  • @509LM
    @509LM ปีที่แล้ว +1

    There should be a direct flight from Cap-Haitien CAP to Les Cayes CYA.

    • @ruttyb
      @ruttyb  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They have it listed on their website, but when I went to book it showed no flights available. I called them & they said they don’t have that route smh.

    • @509LM
      @509LM ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ruttyb They also announced a Les Cayes to Miami route recently which I’m assuming is the same situation with a layover in Port au Prince. Les Cayes never got upgrade to receive international flights but it would be nice though.
