Always keen to see what you think of these new quiz formats, so let me know what your thoughts. Also, would love any suggestions you have for a part 2 (if popular enough). I will say that some outros are difficult to include because of how they fade out or include the song title itself, particularly in the 80’s…it’s almost as if these artists didn’t think about how their songs might impact someone making quizzes on the internet 40 years later….
it was a good mix, if you make it too hard you will turn people away from the quiz. so if the average person can get over 50%, I think you have the balance correct.
I greatly appreciated and enjoyed the challenge of this Quiz! I was able to get the majority of the songs correct! Thank you and keep 'em coming please!
This was tougher than I expected. For most lyric quizzes, I sing the song in my head til I get to the chorus for the title. Much harder to work backwards. That said, really enjoyed this.
I think this is a great category. It's not so easy, but I think I got most of the 20th Century songs, which I'm much better at anyway. That Men at Work song was pretty obscure though. Of course an easy one for fans of the sixties is the "never ending" piano chord. Although I think you can cheat a bit with the "last" six seconds with that one and include six seconds from the start of the chord.
Good quiz! As for good endings, I can recommend “I Don’t Like Mondays” by the Boomtown Rats, and “It’s a Sin” or “Left to My Own Devices” both by the Pet Shop Boys and both with pretty epic endings.
What a great quiz and twist by using the outpost! I got most of them correct, but it was a little bit too UK centric (non mainstream) at times for my silly American taste!😅
For me personally, I did find it quite easy, but at the same time I still got the maximum enjoyment out of it because of the great theme. Only missed Men At Work, otherwise got them all. An outro that I think would work really well is Foo Fighters, The Pretender
I was actually planning too, however my Welsh Artists one performed terribly, I kind of put it back on the shelf 😔. That being said, I'd love to do one at some point in the future, and if you have any suggestions for Australian Artists that you think I'd be foolish to leave out, please let me know 😁
Yet again, another great & original quiz- great job! Got 54/60! Maybe the last few piano notes & finger clicks from Under Pressure by Queen & Bowie in the next one? Cheers! 😊
I got 41. There were some which I definitely should have got but didn’t, because my brain just fizzled with the ending - including both the bands I have an educational connection to! Definitely harder than normal, because your brain extrapolates forwards.
this was interesting, alot more difficult than I imagined when reading the title, I guess you don't pay attention to the outros as much! very fun though! 😊
Oh this was a bit different.. enjoyed it. Didn't get Men at work. I couldn't think of Starman,, I knew it though. Also didn't get Abba!! or Comfortably Numb . I should have done . Oops. Got all the others though. I would love to do part 2.
really enjoyed this one, when T** J** - G**** U********** (trying to make it less of a spoiler) came up I got so hyped I love that song. It got me thinking about songs with weird or strange outros especially with talking or sound effects that could be tricky or fun to guess. I've got a younger and more American perspective which maybe helps diversify things a little bit Sabrina Carpenter - Nonsense Pierce The Veil ft. Kellin Quinn - King For A Day Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever Rage Against The Machine - Sleep Now In The Fire Avril Lavigne - Sk8er Boi Guns N Roses - Welcome To The Jungle (I don't know if you literally always take the final few seconds but the HUH and final chord is pretty iconic for an easier question) BLACKPINK - Pink Venom Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce - Telephone Olivia Rodrigo - Vampire Olivia Rodrigo - brutal Tate McRae - greedy Billie Eilish - bad guy Phoebe Bridgers - I Know The End Taylor Swift ft. HAIM - no body, no crime RAYE ft. 070 Shake - Escapism. PinkPantheress ft. Ice Spice - Boy's a liar Pt. 2 A Day To Remember - If It Means A Lot To You
It is a great song (& thank you for not spoiling!). This is a fantastic list of songs. Certainly a few I wouldn't have thought of that I'll try to include in future editions - Thank you!
Love this! Song suggestions for future ones: Valleri - The Monkees You Just May Be the One - The Monkees Pleasant Valley Sunday - The Monkees You Were On My Mind - We Five The Kill (Bury Me) - Thirty Seconds to Mars In My Life - The Beatles Get Back - The Beatles A World Without Love - Peter and Gordon Take on Me - a-ha Blinding Lights - The Weeknd Can you tell which band is my favorite? 😁

I agree with this. That was basically how well I did, I think--I didn't keep track of my score this time lol.
I greatly appreciated and enjoyed the challenge of this Quiz!
I was able to get the majority of the songs correct!
Thank you and keep 'em coming please!
Thank you so much 😊 That was a great novel idea. More of the same, please 🙏 We scored 47 out of 60, so some room for improvement 😊
@rachaeltrevorlyes9541 Oh, what a great score! I'm so glad you liked it, thank you 😊

Exactly the same way my brain works! Glad you still enjoyed it though, thank you 😊

My brain struggled with this one, but I still loved it! Different and good!
It certainly gets the brain going!
@@SHQuiz I can feel my brain saying 'I know it - let's get to the bit I really recognise...' and instead it just ends and my brain goes 'huh?' 😂
Excellent.
Thank you!
A great idea and really enjoyed. Absolutely thrashed though only 14 (and our bonus point)!
I'm glad you enjoyed it and I always appreciate the bonus point, thank you!
Have you done one of Aussie artists? If not, could you please do one? Thanks!! We love your quizzes!

Those ones you know you should have got are always the most frustrating! But at least you (as per) got an impressive score :)

@Sandra.p. yeah, it's interesting that I guess you must just sort of 'zone out' at the end of a song 😊
50/60 (+3) interesting and different loved it.
