I think this video captures many of the most interesting and noteworthy details, but there are a few more details worth mentioning that add to this theory: - As most have already theorized, the Lady is Six's mother, and this can be inferred based off of portraits in the Lady's Quarters of a little girl in a yellow dress with pale skin and black hair (the same color as Six's rain coat, who also has the same skin and hair color). There is also the portrait of that same little girl and the Lady standing together in the dining hall, which can be briefly spotted as Six runs away from the Guests. But there is more to this, and it may explain why Six has an unnatural hunger and why the Lady has magic. In the kitchen, there is a hidden room that Six can enter via falling through the floor, and in that room there are various pictures of the Lady stored. But there is one picture that stands out above all the rest, and it's a picture of the LADY WITHOUT A MASK! It reveals that behind the porcelain mask, the Lady only has ONE EYE in the middle of her face! Not only does this explain why the Lady's eyes look black and nonexistent when she has the mask on, because her single eye does not match up with the eye holes in her mask, but also explains why every design in the Maw shows a SINGLE EYE - on doors, on carpets, in pictures, everything! The eyes that gaze around the prison and turn children attempting to escape into stone are controlled by the Lady - the only being of the Maw who possesses magic, whose official website description describes her as being responsible for casting the spell that keeps the Maw's engine running; the description of the Lady's Quarters, where she resides, only amplifies this theory, as it is described as being akin to "the heart" of the Maw! Putting all of this together, we can come to the conclusion that the Lady is an ancient, one-eyed otherworldly being (possibly some form of yokai from Japanese mythology) who must subsist by feeding on the souls of the Guests. The more they eat, the more life force she is able to consume from them. If Six is her daughter, then it makes sense that Six would have inherited her mother's insatiable hunger. But why does the Lady hate Six, then, if they are so much alike? Well, we can infer that the Lady is extremely vain, as she is constantly witnessed staring at her reflection in broken mirrors and brushing her hair. If the man we find hanging toward the beginning of the game is in fact Six's father, then his face may have intentionally not been shown by the game developers because he is THE ONLY CHARACTER ASIDE FROM SIX THAT LOOKS HUMAN! Six could have ended up with powers like her mother but physically looking more like her father! The Lady, jealous of Six's human-looking features, wears a mask just to try to mimic her daughter's beauty, but to no avail. As Six continued to grow up and blossom into her beauty, the Lady became more enraged, and eventually attempted to have her own daughter killed so that her blossoming beauty would not pose a threat to her! Six's father, fearing for his daughter's safety, put Six in a suitcase and hid her away from the Lady to protect her, which is where we find Six at the beginning of the game. Fearing what his wife would do to him as a result of this decision, he took his own life. This may be why we find a man hanging near an unopened letter near the bottom of the ship, not far from where we are first introduced to Six! He could have finally discovered the horrible secret of his wife and took his own life, unable to live with the guilt and horror of her true nature! - The Granny may in fact not be the grandmother of Six, but perhaps the grandmother of the Janitor! The dolls the Janitor surrounds himself with look identical to the one the Boy finds in the sewers where the Granny dwells, and the Janitor seems to have a preference for visiting that room. The hallway which interconnects to that room is also filled with grandfather clocks, and there is an identical grandfather clock in the lair of the Granny. Furthermore, both she and the Janitor possess an identical trait - long, slender arms with bony outstretched fingers! The Janitor's website description describes him as being a drifter before he finally found the Maw. The Granny might be the only family member the Janitor has, and he is being blackmailed to carry out his duty to capture children and dispose of their deceased bodies to the kitchen in exchange for the Granny being kept alive in the sewers, where she is fed leftover fish heads. This may be supported during Six's exploration of the Janitor's room, which has several portraits of the Nomes in it, hanging in frames. This implies that the Janitor has a very close relationship with the Nomes, who are themselves not malicious creatures. Consequently, this could mean that unlike other denizens of the Maw, the Janitor is not inherently malevolent in nature, and is only doing the job that has been commanded of him to keep his Granny alive. We never see the Janitor go out of his way to harm a child, merely capturing them instead and bringing them back to their rooms, except for when they've died and he must send them up to the kitchen. As Six, we can even see him checking on the kids sleeping in their cribs, which to me, signifies that he has a soft spot for them and genuinely cares about their needs! The Granny, similarly, doesn't seem to want to intentionally harm children either, and can be seen attempting to give them a hug after she drags them underwater because she is lonely. Unfortunately, because she has been isolated for so long, she does not know that children can't breathe underwater, and accidentally drowns them. It's possible that the Granny knows what horrors befall the children of the Maw and is trying to protect and comfort them - a threat to the lifespan, power, and/or perceived beauty of the Lady, who banished her to the sewers. When the Boy keeps evading the Granny, she is enraged, feeling disrespected and upset that he's trying to leave her just like everyone else has, so she tries to destroy what little floor remains for him to stand on and trap him there with her. When the Boy finally escapes the Granny's lair and ascends a ladder to the floor above it, who does he find? The Janitor! Of all the denizens of the Maw he could have encountered immediately after his encounter with the Granny, he encounters the Janitor, almost as if the Janitor was going down to the depths of the Maw to check on the Granny! Overall, I think Little Nightmares is a story about family trauma and the impact it has on a child, who themself grows up to be a _Little Nightmare_ and follow in the footsteps of abuse, repeating the cycle all over again, which is indicated by Six stealing her mother's powers and we then hear a boat in the distance signifying the arrival of more Guests, meaning Six will continue her mother's legacy.
Isnezzed They might have been earlier concept ideas that got scrapped. If you look up "hidden kitchen room little nightmares", you'll find videos of the secret picture room, where a portrait of the one-eyed Lady can be witnessed. For me personally, that signifies that it is canon.
Isnezzed Maybe, although the spacing of where her normal eyes would be wouldn't line up. In the picture, you can see smooth, pale skin around where the single eye is, which is in the center of the Lady's head but fairly small. Since her eye doesn't take up her whole face, and you can see her skin and a mouth, I'm guessing she had the portrait locked away where no one would expect to find it because she couldn't bare to look at her ugliness.
The doctor could of had made those people by the macaques in little nightmares 2 because little nightmares 2 happend before little nightmares 1 happend
Actually if you have played little nightmares 2 you can see everyone has major deformed faces and bodies because of the tower so this might explain why the people where the masks
@@ernestgartung8558 Yes but also in little nightmares 2 we see six wake up in a suitcase. The same suitcase we see in the ending of little nightmares 2 , So it might be that she sat in the suitcase until someone took her to the maw
I'm a grown ass man but I about teared up when six blood sucked the poor little knome/boy--dlc) that crushed all my hope for humanity shes like a little sister she's all about the adam, but then again little sisters are badass!
I have a theory: You know the "dad" (or whatever his name is) the chair is far too small for his long, tall body. Or when the man hung himself the chair should've been knocked down... So, what if someone killed the man and made it seem like he hung himself?
What if he didn't want the responsibility of being a father and killed himself out of to much effort of being a father and also running the Maw, right?
I have an idea, from around 12:00, and then on, I realized that the granny doesn't seem at all like a mannequin. In fact, if she was, she wouldn't be able to withstand water. If was a mannequin, she wouldn't have been killed by electricity. When he said grandmothers tend to make gifts, for their grand children, I thought that the granny might actually have been Six's grandmother. She couldn't have been anyone else's grandmother, judging by the guest's poor lifestyles, she wouldn't have being able to live that long. The granny could have been making all those dolls for Six or The Lady. The Lady then saw the granny's use, and abandoned her in the depths of the Maw. She was then enslaved into making larger mannequins or puppets for The Lady to make into servants like the janitor or the chefs, which perfectly explains why the granny is fed and even worth keeping alive.
xxXExmitter23Xxx LIKE A BOSS. I like it! she would have to be alive in order to be effected by the electricity. if only there was a big version of a puppet somewhere to back up the theory
TheGamingBeaver I think that the janitor is a human being but he had something wrong with him or his face so they took skin of from the guests and made it so he can have a face and over time the skin started falling off also I think that the chefs have a ugly or like burnt face underneath so like I said with the janitor they did that for the chefs and the granny well I feel that when you saw the shirt in her campain I think she has been there since she was a teen or adult cause she looks like a 1000000000000000 year old woman and please do a video when the new campain comes out for the boy thanks and I am a boy
yea not only one, around three, and you have to get to the next platform quickly or they reach you. You just never see them, only the trail of shoes they knock away.
Good lord, I've never thought of that. Since one guest falls off the platform trying to reach Six, perhaps that's not the first time this has happened...So, maybe they just land in the shoe room, still hungry, even more so now that they're without a food source
Here's my theory: The runaway kid and Six's story start at the same time, hence the reason we only see Six and the kid together once the janitor catches them. So once they escape, the Hideaway begins. And the reason why every switch/lever are child size because of the Granny, she doesn't get out of the water remember, so I'd imagine she reaches out of it. The lever to rise/lower the water level could be used for food reasons, to catch rats or something like that. And am I the only one who thinks that this GRANNY theory is more about the Maw and NOT the granny? Edit: Oh one more thing, that doll gave me hellish nightmares
that is true she died in the DLC most likely because of that leech so maybe the janitor picked the dead corpse up and then took it and wrapped it up and everything so that's theory that you made is it just continues going
Fyre Chyld SBC But in the comic a leech eats a kid pretty much hole when Six finds the other children. The girl that had the torch was likely eaten alive by the leech.
i dont think that the runaway girl was eaten by a leech but maybe killed by one there is a scene where the janitor is rapping up dead kids in.. bags or something. the first child he holds up is the runaway girl not sure if am right but hey it just a theory
^^ but Peeper, he clearly won't be fooling anyone that he's alive if he's scratching u n d e r his f a c e. like thats not v alive to me. plus the chefs only stay in the kitchen with eachother - the kitchen would assumingly be off-limits to guests, so he wouldn't need to "prove" his liveliness to the 2nd chef.
After playing through this dlc I decided to play the main story again and I noticed a few things 1: During the final chapter when u are going up the stairs to the lady's room there is a picture of an old lady on the wall this is the granny 2: leeches do eat children like in the comics the little girl in the dlc probably wasn't watching what was in front of her and ended up being eaten by the leech 3: The granny has been abandoned to rage and decay maybe she saw what her daughter the lady was doing to the guests and the children and tried to stop her and the lady banished her to the depths this is why she hugs children she is sad and wants to comfort the poor children but she has forgotten how to 4: The monsters as puppets doesn't really make much sense because puppets don't make sound and also when u chop the janitors arms of he screams in pain puppets don't feel pain because they aren't alive 5: The boy doesn't get hungry because he has been living in a room which the janitor probably hands food out to but six has been living in a suitcase away from everyone so she wouldn't get food given to her 6: The furniture in the depths is tied down because it makes up the granny's house underwater there is a picture of it in the concept art 7: All the paintings of little girls in the lady's room that people say are six could actually be the lady as a little girl think about it the lady hates looking at herself in the mirror and banishes anyone prettier than her maybe she would only rather look at herself as a child because she feels ok with looking at a younger version of herself
Jayden Hussey this is good, but i don't agree with your non maniqine theory, because the lady reanimated them to blend with living creatures, so they would appear to feel pain.
Jacob Lassing but the character bio on the website for the janitor says that he left the outside world to join the maw this indicates that he is in fact a living being that came from somewhere maybe before he worked at the maw he suffered from an injury that resulted in the loss of his face and he couldn't stand being seen in public without a face so he ran away to the maw so he could live alone
Jayden Hussey the first one can't be true considering that at the end of the depths The Janitor grabs you with his hands. If that sound was the Janitors hands being cut off, then how could he have grabbed you at the end?
I have a theory explaining Six's hunger: As we all know, Six's campaign starts when she wakes up in her suitcase. But if you look closely, you can see pictures taped up on the inside of the suitcase, which she must have had time to do; this means she has been there for a while. Also, Six wakes up in the suitcase (as previously mentioned), which no-one does, and this shows she is not wanted, so she wouldn't be fed. Assuming she has been scavenging food, Six does not belong anymore, which is why the Lady (possibly her mother) left a suitcase for her and sent her to the deep depths of the Maw, showing she loved Six when she was sent down. The boy, however, wakes up in a bed, which shows he is cared for, and fed, maybe by the Janitor, so he doesn't have the occasional hunger spikes. This is the end of my theory. Loved your theories, Beaver, and I hope you achieve greatness!
The easiest way to explain why Six is hungry while the Runaway Boy isn't is that Six is simply starving (as stated on the game's website) while the boy isn't. The DLC starts in a bedroom with other kid-sized beds, and the kids that aren't hiding or escaping are shown to be fed to some degree (such as when another kid gives Six a piece of bread from the cafeteria-type room). The other theories may be true, but I found this to be the simplest "cop-out".
Cinnamon Soundtracks well hear this: there's a theory that mr. tickles is actually your friend, because.. if you look closely in the little nightmares original game that you've played before, six was sleeping on a suitcase, and there's NO suitcase other than her's, BUT there's just ONE room full of suitcases, it's mr. tickles' room where he watches tv! its actually FULL of suitcases! and also mr. tickles can climb up or down, and if you look closely you can see that the room where you were sleeping and had that dream, was VERY VERY long and six would not survive if she wouldv'e jumped that far! only mr. tickles can! and also when you walk down the halway of your "bedroom", you can see cans of food and drinks all over AND you can see a weirdly and suspiciously clean barrel.. and where do you find other barrels and cans of food and water? THE KITCHEN, where mr. tickles went there to get food for six and made six her own room to hide from the mother! and also when he catches you he doesn't put you in any sorse of danger and doesn't eat you like the guests or cook you like the cooks! and who are the ONLY people who dont kill you? tickles and the mother! becaude the mother doesn't seem to eat or catch your soul and doesnt eat you or anything like that! she just catches you by using her magic to lift you up off the ground. and if you ask why does tickles only save six? truth is, he doesnt care! he's just a nice but lonely monster who lives in the shadows and stalks the silence. just search up on youtube "the friendly janitor theory" and there's a video that i saw and i kinda believe the theory! the video shows alot more detail and goes more in depth if you wanna REALLY know whats going on. I LOVE LITTLE NIGHTMARES! so thats why i watch theory videos about it😂 your welcome for writing a book for you
Part of the lore of the Maw is that is has an affect on people. In Six's case, it turns her hunger, which I theorized may have just been genuine starvation, into something worse. The evil of the ship may have twisted her into a monster of sorts, like it seems to have with the other residences of the ship, rather than her hunger being something supernatural from the start.
This game seems based on Spirited Away. The gnomes are like the Suet Balls, the guests are like the spirits, 6 is like Chihiro, the runaway boy is like Haku, the janitor is like Kamaji the spider limbed boiler man, the guests are also like Chihiro's parents when they pig out, and the geisha is like Yubaba.
When it says,"her story will be explained by completing his adventure" maybe that means by completing Seven's adventure that Six's story will be explained.
Look. A lot of the theories include having the lady be six's mother, but the creators confirmed that Six is in no way related to the lady, which really changes things up.
Lack of inbreeding I think. That in addition to a high fat diet and a sedentary lifestyle would make for good marbling. Or it's just a animation discission
I have a theory, so you know how the janitor had all of those manikins or dolls, why would he have that. And why would there be drawings on the wall of what looks like the janitor and children. When the janitor came he was supposed to take care of the children, he did that job and the children loved him. So you explain that he must’ve had eyes at some point, so when he came he could see these children, but who where making the toys. The janitor could’ve but he would have to brought someone with him to make it, she the janitor didn’t come alone. He brought the granny. So that is why he has all of those dolls, he very much misses her. They had a close relationship then so maybe they where actually together, because they both have a thing of grabbing and not killing people. So maybe the janitor and the granny where the hanging mans parents. The janitor has long arms and the hanging man is pretty long or tall. And in one of the pictures, the lady seems to have one eye. So if she had one eye then where would six get her jeans from. The hanging man be six’s father. That is a huge theory that I believe but it might sound stupid to you, idk.
My theory is that the chefs are wearing flesh suits out of the guests and underneath are hideous monsters. As we see one of the chefs going up to the guest area means that they are allowed to up and be seen with the guest which implys to the fact of wolf in sheeps clothing. The chef need to make the guests think that they are one of them in order to kill the guests. About the geisha, both she and six consume souls meaning that they aren't human, now my theory is that the father of six is the hung man and was controlled by the lady to commit the murder on himself. Therefore we see the doll in the depths, could the granny have made it or were the dephts just the janitor's old lair, and about the granny, what realation/purpose does she serve in the maw, pipes cleaner, drainage checker etc. Now about the janitor, I believe that he isn't a puppet like the rest of the inhabitants of the maw, but rather a misunderstood monster of the shadows. In his description it says that he fled the world and found the maw. This proves that the janitor has never lived a normal life because of the ridicule the world gave him, he found the maw and has made comfort in isolation, away from the real monsters. And I believe that all those dolls are from and for the janitor because living in a submursable resort in the deepest part away from social interactions can make someone lonley, and because of his looks he has no friends, so he makes friends. As we see the dis-arming of the now smitten janitor, I saw a feint liquid, blood-like essence escape his shoulders to his arms. I believe this is blood. And that is my theory on the characters of little nightmares, thank you for read this. :)
you're kinda right, if you look at the main website of little nightmares and look at some images of the twin chefs, you can see one of them wiping sweat from under their heads..they Are wearing flesh masks
I think the chefs are humans that have been captured and sent to the maw and they are forced to wear flesh suits so the guests don't freak out if they see them.
Omar Uwainat but one question bro if what you say about the chefs is true, then why do they still need to be dressed up when they're all alone and cutting the meat? It wouldn't seem sensible if no one could see them and it might actually be annoying for them to have the body parts on them like when they were scratching their skin because it was uncomfortable.
I also think they have to wear it because of the wax bellman or red butler just because you didn't see them doesn't mean they're not there perhaps he would tell the guests or something
I once saw a very interesting theory about the granny being the last person who occupied the Lady's "job" in the maw. As if, when she got older, someone replaced her with a younger version. And, if you've already seen the "Very Little Nightmares" game, the Pretender would be the one who would be the one being raised to be the next Lady, the next boss of the Maw.
Wait at 2:30 in the video when The janitor is wrapping the bodies he is wrapping the body of the girl from the DLC version that had the flashlight and disappeared like if you saw that or agree
before the granny was abandoned she was making the dolls but the masked ladie seen she cared for the kids so she was put down in the water and treated like a animal that's why some dolls are unfinished that's wat I think leave a like if u agree
Wait, am I the only one thinking, that in that part where we see, *"You can only understand her, by finishing his story."* Do they mean by completing the RunawayKid's story, will they understand Six's story.
My theory is that before the runaway kid was able to reach the runaway girl is that she was grabbed by the leach either by the foot or arm. She put up one hell of a fight before the leach was able to kill her... But once the leach grabbed, and had killed her, the janitor found her and took the leach off and took her away to take her back to where she came from... But had found out she was dead...
It'll be crazy if the entire little nightmares universe started out good and wholesome and then you see if montage of how everything turned dark and twisted.
18:40 I have another thing to support that : After six kills her “mother” she walks down the path to the entrance to the Maw, with the guests franticly trying to grab her. With the guest making all of that noise, wouldn’t the staff heard (since the chef was known to be nearby)? If the lady is the heart of the maw and is controlling the mannequins and then she died, she no longer has the ability to control the mannequins therefor they end up “lifeless.”
six was never proven to be the child f the geisha. as to the creators never did reveal the gender of six to brush the audience off the hunching that six was the girl from the paintings. the granny was more plausible to be the girl from the painting though.
I believe there could be Six runaway children. In the comic there are four other children who have escaped and asked Six to stay, showing they dont know her. So, including Six, that's five run away children. Where's the last one? I believe that to be the runaway boy. Perhaps the boy was part of that group of children before? He also had a chain on his leg. Maybe he was consistantly trying to escape and at some point met the group, then got captured again, hence why he woke up in a bed. Maybe the othr children just named themselves numbers as they never had names and or they needed to keep count of how many people escaped. In the comic, it also stated how Six can't remember much. This could be another reason for her unusual name as she can't remember her real one. I believe, since there has been six children seen, there could be six story lines.
MidnightGaming I don't think so, and the boy woke up in the bed because kids were taken from their home, given toys to play with and food, and after they grow up they were killed and eaten, that's why the boy woke up in the bed
But you forget about the girl that the runaway kid got the torch from. And they all had YELLOW raincoats similar to Six. So I doubt it, because he escapes without anything.
My theory for the granny is that she was hired to be the caretaker of the captured children when the Maw started. Hence the abandoned playground we see between the electrical doors. She wanted to keep the children happy and was a loving person until the others started to kill and prepare the children for eating. She tried to stop them somehow but was overpowered and sent to the Depths. After so long being there she will attack anything, even the children she loved, as she has gone insane. She also may have been connected to the hanging man in the prison chapter. This happens relatively close to her old playground. Since the chair doesn’t reach the mans legs, maybe she killed him when he tried to take the children, explaining why she was sent to the Depths.
An idea I would like to add to your puppet theory: I think she might've used trapped souls that she sucked from their bodys, and they are kept in those bottles that you find that when broken, something comes out, And that something would be trapped souls that you free, but the janitor, chefs, and granny are puppets with souls so broken and lost they have foorgotten what they were before.
One thing I noticed was that the Granny was much smaller than the other monsters. The Janitor, the Chefs, and the Guests were all 4 or 5 times the size of Six, while the Granny was only 2 or 3 times. Dunno if this really helps any theories, this was just an observation
15:06 my grandma doesnt make me anything, shes not the kind who lets you do anything you want. if i did something wrong she would give me a discipline voice, and make me clean up the mess i made
I'm not sure if your noticed/ saw this already but in the original little nightmares game when your escaping from the twin chiefs for the final time by jumping onto the hooks, if you look in the background their is a noose. I found this interesting! :)
When six walking by all those “people” it look like she takes there energy/life.So maybe the lady gave the puppets life and six is taking them :0 just a Theory
... ... im so..surprised?....confused?... i dont know...just,...ive never heard this theory from anyone before..you did a great job on coming up with this theory....
I come back to gaming beavers theory videos a lot. They made up a lot of the experience of LN 1 for me. He really contributed to the charm and feeling of the game. ✨
I think The Janitor is the grandpa of six, Granny is Her Granny (well, of course xD) And the dead person hanging is her dad and the lady is her Mother ? Maybe? :D If you read this and want me to write my whole theory down then just ask Please :D (Its morning this is why i cant write things for a long time if ya know what I am talking about ;) ) Also have a good morning/Day/Night/ Boiiiiii
I think that because I watched other theories and I Think that everyone who is doing theories like that only '' theorized'' a piece like the Lady is 6's Mom (sorry its mornin' again) Because There are lots of pictures of six in The lady's Quarters I will write that later (someone interrupted my writing :P I forgot what I was saying :P) So, Also the Twins can be brothers OF six (I will also write about why everyone cathes her) So this is why She Used to work at the kitchen with Her Brothers, So back to the Mother, (The lady) She was the one who DENIED everyone from Her family (Sorry I am not english If I write something wrong) , Forcing everyone to work, (Here comes another theorie of someone else) But six was first living in the Lady's quarters, then Moved to the kitchen Then getting Denied to the jail, Why? Becouse She was looking better than her This is why everyone has a Mask to the lady doesn't see someone looking better than her, And the Janitor Can be the grandpa becouse He can care of Children the best, with the granny making the dolls for the children (Its in this video :P) But the granny was denied becouse she was doing things BETTER and also the lady only using them as slaves or keeping alive Her family becouse She loves them or Likes to see or hear that someone is Suffering And the Dad was also sent to the jail, with Six but cant see That His Daugther is about to die becouse of hunger so he Suicided In front of Six's eyes, and there is why everyone is cathing six so hardly or at all, so why they catch her, to send back her to the jail, and so hardly because they dont want to catch six making her her way harder. THIS WAS MY THEORIE I AM HUNGRY NOW AF HAVE A GOOD DAY OR NIGHT OR MORNING BYE (Tbh I am really hungry now lol Boi)
I think that once u start eating human meat u cant stop, so i think the guest are eating their own kind so once they start they cant stop eating till they fall asleep then the get killed and then get made into more meat. But i dunno it just my theory. :P like if u think it is a good theory:P
Shauna Frederick It's almost like Hansel and Gretel because Hansel and Gretel ( the guests) come on to the ship, get fattened up, and get cut up and cooked.
but what if they aren't dolls? what if they have a secret just like the lady. they too cover up something or had something taken away, like their beauty and hid their faces? or just hide their true identity. I believe at once the maw used to be a happy place and the granny cared for the children and made them dolls to play with. The lady was then captivated and so focused on her looks and keeping herself young and beautiful she filled with selfishness and probably hate or grief. The children are scared and want to escape the wicked lady but she wont let them. she has the power to kill all the children but care too much to do so because she wants to be a mother or was a mother. Maybe the guy who hung himself fell in love with the lady and the daughter was the run away girl and they were a happy family, but things changed. the father killed himself and the daughter ran away leaving the lady upset and hurt. iunno -w-. but why would the "father" hang himself and why would the "daughter" run away only to disappear or become eaten?
I always believed the tiny dress mentioned at 10:55 was of the little girl that had the flashlight, not the granny. Since her description says she was abandoned.
come on guys! the grand maw just wants a nice little child to tell her boring stories to (also in my word she kinda looks like a kappa with her hair like that
Hey at 18:42 if u pause video you can see the room light up from the mirror and there are a bunch of female type mannequins also at different levels of completion but one of them definitely looks just like the Geisha to the right of the real one, Idk just thought I'd throw that out there to see what u think, like this please so he can see it and tell me/us what he thinks of that please
welp there are small mannequins that are used as toys for the children and larger mannequins that the geisha uses herself. Rather than thinking that she was a mannequin, its easier to conclude that she was one of the children of the boat. Pushing this further maybe she is scared of adults an when she sees herself in the miror she is just afraid of herself. That would explain why she feeds the guest to the guests, but not why she hates children so much.
Now your theory of the monsters being mannequins makes sense. During the first part of the new Little Nightmares 2 demo you see them making giant mannequins. And, they move and chase after you.
The part you mentioned of her story being explained by completing his adventure might mean monos adventure is how we find out more about six. I also think the hanging man is what six thinks of mono since it’s her nightmare.
I pieced this together after some thought, The Lady is "Hungry" which is why the guests never come back, and Six gets hungry easily, like her. This means that Six is really the Lady's Daughter. An added thought, Six at the end "Eats" Some form of black, wispy energy, which may be how the Lady "Eats" the guests. Thought I would bring this up seeing that no one else had.
the janitor seems older than the rest, possibly he is the grandpa and keeps the dolls to remind him of the granny, maybe the janitor tried fighting back against the lady because she abandoned the granny which ended with the lady ripping his eyes out so he could never SEE her again possibly linking to the eyes around the maw, idk tho
PATINATOR08 Gaming she can breath under water because she comes up when ever you are not close to her and she has probly bean down there for years in the water so that's why
She has been living there a long time probably. You get used to something you do for a long time. Maybe she just learned it since it turned into her new lifestyle.
Look at the information about the chefs on the website. the fourth picture of them, is't super easy to see they wear a mask(or something) And, underneath that, they have a mouth. so that would be a weird kind of mannequin.
He granny could be that girl in the picture with the yellow because the suit that's sitting there by the water, looks like the girl that has the yellow suit in the picture, or it might be six, but it's a possibility.
what everyone is overlooking is, that the guests are wearing masks ALL OF THEM ! you can see it at the ending scene when you look careful i don't know wht this means but no one mentiont it so far (excuse my bad english its not my first language)
beaver mentioned that they could be puppets. but from somewhere, there was a theory that the geisha wanted herself to be the only pretty one since her face is somehow uglier when she grows old or because she is singled eye.
Okay things I have noticed 1. Six never eats cooked food it always raw why ?? 2. In the doll/puppet room there is a doll on the shelf that looks like six 3. The nomes are okay with six is that because six's mother runs the place ?? 4. How was granny able to stay underwater so long if she is human ?? 5. In the first part of little nightmares someone goes past the window on the door so why has no one come and read the letter and took his body down ?? 6. In the comic it shows six's mother watching six throw the mask but then how does she not know that six was comeing for her does her power not work in the shop ?? 7. Why don't they just kill all the kids ?? Or do they keep them to make more kids ??
Defender of justice 707 Six ate a piece of bread when some kid gave it to her. But she can ONLY eat when she has those hungry spikes. When she gets hungry she can't go to the kitchen to make a sandwich you know, so she just ate what she found. When she tried to eat meat she got caught in a cage
If they're trying to hide six's gender, they're doing a terrible job at it. Also the beginning dream in the runaway kids campaign leads me to believe that the kids might have some sort of premonition powers.
We covered way more then just the Granny! There's probably a lot I missed so if you've picked up on something or have a theory I'd love to hear it!

I think this video captures many of the most interesting and noteworthy details, but there are a few more details worth mentioning that add to this theory:
- As most have already theorized, the Lady is Six's mother, and this can be inferred based off of portraits in the Lady's Quarters of a little girl in a yellow dress with pale skin and black hair (the same color as Six's rain coat, who also has the same skin and hair color).
Krump Grump where
There are datamined models of the characters, and one of them happen to be the lady unmasked. She has a normal face, kinda expected really.
Isnezzed They might have been earlier concept ideas that got scrapped. If you look up "hidden kitchen room little nightmares", you'll find videos of the secret picture room, where a portrait of the one-eyed Lady can be witnessed. For me personally, that signifies that it is canon.
It could be drawn on, just like in six's portrait her eyes are crossed out?
Isnezzed Maybe, although the spacing of where her normal eyes would be wouldn't line up. In the picture, you can see smooth, pale skin around where the single eye is, which is in the center of the Lady's head but fairly small. Since her eye doesn't take up her whole face, and you can see her skin and a mouth, I'm guessing she had the portrait locked away where no one would expect to find it because she couldn't bare to look at her ugliness.

Like so he sees this.
xxXExmitter23Xxx LIKE A BOSS. I like it! she would have to be alive in order to be effected by the electricity. if only there was a big version of a puppet somewhere to back up the theory

I think that the janitor is related to the granny and that is why he has all the dolls that she made for him
Also I’m pretty sure that in that room filled with shoes it one of the guest still alive trying to eat you
yea not only one, around three, and you have to get to the next platform quickly or they reach you. You just never see them, only the trail of shoes they knock away.
Good lord, I've never thought of that. Since one guest falls off the platform trying to reach Six, perhaps that's not the first time this has happened...So, maybe they just land in the shoe room, still hungry, even more so now that they're without a food source
No its the granny
@@simonx5660 how can the granny be up there after being killed by the Runaway Kid?
that’s such a smart theory i can’t see it not being true!
Edit: Oh one more thing, that doll gave me hellish nightmares
yep that is a good theory !
Theyre actually around the same time!!
Except your lever theory doesn't explain about all of the other levers where there's no water around in the rest of the levels.

After playing through this dlc I decided to play the main story again and I noticed a few things
1: During the final chapter when u are going up the stairs to the lady's room there is a picture of an old lady on the wall this is the granny
2: leeches do eat children like in the comics the little girl in the dlc probably wasn't watching what was in front of her and ended up being eaten by the leech
3: The granny has been abandoned to rage and decay maybe she saw what her daughter the lady was doing to the guests and the children and tried to stop her and the lady banished her to the depths this is why she hugs children she is sad and wants to comfort the poor children but she has forgotten how to
4: The monsters as puppets doesn't really make much sense because puppets don't make sound and also when u chop the janitors arms of he screams in pain puppets don't feel pain because they aren't alive
5: The boy doesn't get hungry because he has been living in a room which the janitor probably hands food out to but six has been living in a suitcase away from everyone so she wouldn't get food given to her
6: The furniture in the depths is tied down because it makes up the granny's house underwater there is a picture of it in the concept art
7: All the paintings of little girls in the lady's room that people say are six could actually be the lady as a little girl think about it the lady hates looking at herself in the mirror and banishes anyone prettier than her maybe she would only rather look at herself as a child because she feels ok with looking at a younger version of herself
I always thought the dlc took place before six came out and that girl was six escaping from her mother into hiding.

I have a theory explaining Six's hunger:
As we all know, Six's campaign starts when she wakes up in her suitcase.
I honestly think the granny was the original lady but her daughter ( the younger lady ) took her place and locked her in the depths of the maw,
Probably🤔

Because reasons
+2000 iq for u
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT WANTS TO ANSWER THIS
nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah……………………………………….it was preaty good theory
Wooooowww *mind blown* 💥🔥
This is stupidly long
My theory is that the chefs are wearing flesh suits out of the guests and underneath are hideous monsters. :)
Omar Uwainat If so I feel sorry for the guy ;(
you're kinda right, if you look at the main website of little nightmares and look at some images of the twin chefs, you can see one of them wiping sweat from under their heads..they Are wearing flesh masks
And, if you've already seen the "Very Little Nightmares" game, the Pretender would be the one who would be the one being raised to be the next Lady, the next boss of the Maw.
the runaway girl was killed by leaches and taken by the janitor
Is she possibly the girl we see the janitor bagging up at his workbench as Six ?
@@seraphimseptimus6984 *possibly!*
I think the granny took her
Because her clothes are near the water
They are just using the same model
@@seraphimseptimus6984 while this is a good theory little nightmares 2 has six and a new character mono who you play as both alive and of the maw
Wait at 2:30 in the video when The janitor is wrapping the bodies he is wrapping the body of the girl from the DLC version that had the flashlight and disappeared like if you saw that or agree
i saw that
I would've never saw that!
I saw that and agree
I also saw that and yes, what if the janitor is just doing his job?
omg i was thinking the same exact thing
before the granny was abandoned she was making the dolls but the masked ladie seen she cared for the kids so she was put down in the water and treated like a animal that's why some dolls are unfinished that's wat I think leave a like if u agree
Adam Mansfield that would explain why she wants to hold you so tight and is fed scraps actually, I always miss something when making these videos

Did you mean to say "theory" instead of "teory"?
Thanks SNOWB, my english is a potato...

Wait, am I the only one thinking, that in that part where we see, *"You can only understand her, by finishing his story."* Do they mean by completing the RunawayKid's story, will they understand Six's story.
omg nooooo that was foreshadowing for LN2 idk if u saw it yet lol, but a lot of things have become obvious after a year
8:08 Look To The Right There is a paper with a girl in yellow clothes or something... Could that be six?
GentelMenas it probably is, but who drew it? that's what i asked myself when i saw that in the game...
Well Thats A good question

yeah he noticed it in a different video
Maybe that would be Six's drawing that she made by herself or something \_('_')_/

Mike Howard I like this theory but the janitors blind so how could he have found the girl

It'll be crazy if the entire little nightmares universe started out good and wholesome and then you see if montage of how everything turned dark and twisted.
That is ddlc
18:40 I have another thing to support that
: After six kills her “mother” she walks down the path to the entrance to the Maw, with the guests franticly trying to grab her.
Also the lady casts a spell that keeps the maws engine running so when you kill the lady after a while the maw would sink
MidnightGaming ya
pls watch. m.th-cam.com/video/9CS7j5I6aOc/w-d-xo.html
But you forget about the girl that the runaway kid got the torch from. And they all had YELLOW raincoats similar to Six. So I doubt it, because he escapes without anything.

TheGamingBeaver SMARTEST THING IN THE UNIVERSE
It happened before because at 5:00 the curtain rope thing is what six climbed up to get into the nursery
Interesting theory!
Looking at it again it looks like it is the runaway girl that gives six the bread not the runaway boy

The hanging man is the wax bellmen because the song with the janitor says hung hung hung the wax bellmen hope this helped you out
As soon as I saw her eat the gnome instead of the sausage I wanted her to die xD
IV0N Plays Those poor nomes! They're the only good thing in this whole game. I just want to keep them safe
Mike Rice They are children transformed into a different form.
Six should die and get eaten by the visitors and get chopped up by the twin chefs
The sad thing is because they were once kids =( poor little gnomes
15:06 my grandma doesnt make me anything, shes not the kind who lets you do anything you want. if i did something wrong she would give me a discipline voice, and make me clean up the mess i made
I'm not sure if your noticed/ saw this already but in the original little nightmares game when your escaping from the twin chiefs for the final time by jumping onto the hooks, if you look in the background their is a noose. I found this interesting! :)
The ‘Runaway girl’ may have been the dead child you see the janitor rapping up.
I was thinking the same thing
@Rylie Poston I was talking about the girl with the torch, that you chase at the start of the dlc

I come back to gaming beavers theory videos a lot. They made up a lot of the experience of LN 1 for me. He really contributed to the charm and feeling of the game. ✨
Maybe the lady uses the eye security cameras to monitor the mannequins? Just a sugestion. But i do think the eyes play a significant role
John Smith I agree the eye symbol is like everywhere too
John Smith ur right
other theories says that the lady might be using the camera to monitor the whole maw
Mr SuggieHoovy yeah write I need something to read I already have my own theory
VocaloidProductions1 nope
I think that because I watched other theories and I Think that everyone who is doing theories like that only '' theorized'' a piece like the Lady is 6's Mom (sorry its mornin' again) Because There are lots of pictures of six in The lady's Quarters I will write that later (someone interrupted my writing :P I forgot what I was saying
:P) So, Also the Twins can be brothers OF six (I will also write about why everyone cathes her) So this is why She Used to work at the kitchen with Her Brothers, So back to the Mother, (The lady) She was the one who DENIED everyone from Her family (Sorry I am not english If I write something wrong) , Forcing everyone to work, (Here comes another theorie of someone else) But six was first living in the Lady's quarters, then Moved to the kitchen Then getting Denied to the jail, Why?
* Because *
Oh sorry :P
1 of the deaths in the kitchen is you get put into a fish head and the granny eats them so there are children inside of those fish heads.
will the girl in the dlc kill him sinc she has that power n eat a nome
Well 2021 kinda ruined this theory, Their not puppets their just deformed humans from the broadcast
Could the janitor and the granny had been together? Perhaps the janitor is our grandfather :D Funky old man

I ONLY SHIP THE JANITOR AND THE LADY
Grandpa Roger
I think that once u start eating human meat u cant stop, so i think the guest are eating their own kind so once they start they cant stop eating till they fall asleep then the get killed and then get made into more meat. But i dunno it just my theory. :P

well they mostly eat meat
Shauna Frederick true u rock oh no I'm thinking of THE ROCK

WE HAVE TO WAIT TILL NOVEMBER FOR PART 2 NOOOOOOO
That one guy that suck so much I beat the first one in 45 mins
18:23 BEST PART
but what if they aren't dolls? what if they have a secret just like the lady. they too cover up something or had something taken away, like their beauty and hid their faces? or just hide their true identity.
WHAT IF SIX A
But if they had beauty taken away, why'd they wear masks as ugly as that?
I always believed the tiny dress mentioned at 10:55 was of the little girl that had the flashlight, not the granny. Since her description says she was abandoned.
When the janitor looks scary.
But you think he’s friendly and cute at the sametime :)
come on guys! the grand maw just wants a nice little child to tell her boring stories to (also in my word she kinda looks like a kappa with her hair like that
Hey at 18:42 if u pause video you can see the room light up from the mirror and there are a bunch of female type mannequins also at different levels of completion but one of them definitely looks just like the Geisha to the right of the real one, Idk just thought I'd throw that out there to see what u think, like this please so he can see it and tell me/us what he thinks of that please
Aldo Parziale good thought
Maybe someone else is controling the geisha and she is allso a mannequin....
^ This because do note, I definitely think, that we (as the audience) haven't explored every nook and corner of the maw, it's fucking huge.
welp there are small mannequins that are used as toys for the children and larger mannequins that the geisha uses herself. Rather than thinking that she was a mannequin, its easier to conclude that she was one of the children of the boat. Pushing this further maybe she is scared of adults an when she sees herself in the miror she is just afraid of herself. That would explain why she feeds the guest to the guests, but not why she hates children so much.
I saw it
Granny just needs a hug :)
15:50 ITS SALAD FINGERS
TheGekoGamer, OMG I WATCHED THE WHOLE SALAD FINGERS SERIES BEFORE I CLICKED ON THIS VIDEO AND THEN SAW UR COMMENT XD
TheGekoGamer fuck you
I had the same thought :p
I pieced this together after some thought, The Lady is "Hungry" which is why the guests never come back, and Six gets hungry easily, like her. This means that Six is really the Lady's Daughter. An added thought, Six at the end "Eats" Some form of black, wispy energy, which may be how the Lady "Eats" the guests.
Thought I would bring this up seeing that no one else had.
Salty Chips Because it's obvious.
And then the bodies of the guests without souls are made to food for the next guests😂
After LN2, "some pieces of HER story will be revealed after completing HIS adventure", HIS meaning MONO.

Theory: What if Beaver has the Lady's powers... and Game Theory is just his puppet... But hey, that's just a theory, a Conspiracy Theory!
2:56 DAT HAT DO BE LOOKIN NICE THO-
the janitor seems older than the rest, possibly he is the grandpa and keeps the dolls to remind him of the granny, maybe the janitor tried fighting back against the lady because she abandoned the granny which ended with the lady ripping his eyes out so he could never SEE her again possibly linking to the eyes around the maw, idk tho
How could the granny breathe underwater for so long if she supposedly is human
PATINATOR08 Gaming she can breath under water because she comes up when ever you are not close to her and she has probly bean down there for years in the water so that's why
Toni Quinn makes sense
some divers can hold their breath for 7 minutes
Yeah but this an old broken down granny not a young athlete
She has been living there a long time probably. You get used to something you do for a long time. Maybe she just learned it since it turned into her new lifestyle.
Look at the information about the chefs on the website. the fourth picture of them, is't super easy to see they wear a mask(or something) And, underneath that, they have a mouth. so that would be a weird kind of mannequin.
But if the janitor is a mannequin then how is he blind?
FreezingWind Because the doll is not finished.
maybe he has 6 senses

He granny could be that girl in the picture with the yellow because the suit that's sitting there by the water, looks like the girl that has the yellow suit in the picture, or it might be six, but it's a possibility.
Stuckauto Gaming, maybe the granny misses six so took sixes dress to remember her.
what everyone is overlooking is, that the guests are wearing masks ALL OF THEM !
you can see it at the ending scene when you look careful
i don't know wht this means but no one mentiont it so far

Or do they keep them to make more kids ??
o ya why doesnt six just eat the carrots and all the otrher stuff next to her
Defender of justice 707 Six ate a piece of bread when some kid gave it to her. But she can ONLY eat when she has those hungry spikes. When she gets hungry she can't go to the kitchen to make a sandwich you know, so she just ate what she found. When she tried to eat meat she got caught in a cage
