why the hell wouldn't you use it in your video
Having no eggs would be a major factor.
ya know, you really should do a demo. Also the instructions tell you to heat the water 1st without the lid on , next crack the egg into the water and put the lid on put the poacher back in the micro wave for the proscribed number of seconds with the lid on this time. If you don't do it this way your egg may explode & that could get messy!
Thank you very much for clarifying that for everyone. I do apologise I just did not have the facility and the budget to do a proper demo hope fully that would change for me

NO instructions came with mine, so hot or cold water & how long do U put in an 800w microwave? Thanks..
Cold water 1 min on high maximum 2 mins

Thanks 4 the reply, but my Microwave doesn't have the High / Low option, so after 1 or 2 bad fails - Boiling water & 50 secs in an 800w microwave is perfect 4 me..

Worst review ever. How hard is it to buy a bloody egg and test the thing.
No shops near nor a microwave or cooker no facility for heating is a big factor I would say
