About the INI thing.. There´s basically a built in INI called preview mode. It will basically make UW, tek lights, plant Z, plant X and such not really have an effect on you when it´s turned on. Just go in single player, turn it on with admin commands (on the map you want to go on) and then go into the actual game. Will need to turn it on every time before going into the game/new server and when you disconnect you´d have to do it again. Would be an example of a legit way to play the game.

I think they need to stop banning things that aren’t game breaking n start actually banning cheaters or setup a good anti cheat that actually works. I feel like if they took time to do dev work the game could probably be revived extremely well

I literally just found out about the ini change yesterday. I don't even really play Ark all that much anymore, but that shit still annoys me. Hopefully things change for the better with the rumored engine update coming soon.

Hi R0ta, I suggest you, and that you suggest other youtubers to make a video like the one you did about spoofing B&G owner account.
ASK DEVELOPERS to change the ANTI-CHEAT in the ARK and improve the code so that there are fewer vulnerabilities for cheating, duping, etc.
I'm sure you can do it the same way.

Second thing i want to mention: If they don't make ark good again (as u said by getting rid of the cheaters [and i'd add the meshing as another point]) i don't see why i should support these assholes who robbed thousands of hours of my time by just making this game worse every day.
I used to fear boss fight in the old days, now I run em solo for ele, the real mini boss in this game is Harold the 23yr who couldn’t handle losing and decided to join the bandwagon and purchase cheats. FYI I’ve had 8 separate Harold’s pull up to my crouch just last week, they all use that tek nade dupe to soak heavies. That was by far the most atrocious thing I had witnessed in a while.

I agree on the INI part. Personally im just using the new method. So far not detectable, but ofc if you stream or record with it, its a problem. But if they cant fix their game (Hacks, exploits, meshing), then stop the punishment of those who are just trying to fight back.
Literally why I don't play PvP anymore. Shit is so wack. I enjoy having the natural cover as a mechanic too for being a sneaky boi so having them just negate that is so wack
I agree with their ini banning changes because as a player I spent like 5k hours in PVP with no knowledge of the ini, and every time I would hide in a bush or something some guy would come find and kill me with ease. If we are against esp which will let people see you then to be consistent we should be against visual modifications that allow the same. Then, I joined an alpha and they insisted I used ini to play, even though I had a beastly computer, I had to play with the shittiest graphics known to man.

@@BatManHDdeluxe I didn't know about it until some Koreans who kept clapping me felt sorry for me and had me join their Discord and screen shared. This was years ago when they didn't have many streamers. Then I saw some Ark vids of people playing with ini and I was like how is this even allowed? A large number of new players are basically taught they get their ass clapped and if they don't cheat (using ini is cheating) they can't ever get an edge. And that's why this game is a continual search for in game mechanic cheats, like the bee buff, or other stupid shit, like untargetable duck racers, or duck boating, shit that is just terrible game design but the *players* themselves don't care about it. If you can do something that gives you an advantage it is kept secret. Meshing techniques were used extensively for kids without any sense of fair play or honesty. And if you say you never did it I bet you knew someone who bragged about it. I spend 20 hours building a fully vault dropped tower and some kid duck racers it with an untargetable racer, that can walk right up to it, that kid is just as much a piece of shit as the other kids paying money for esp and god mode.
On PlayStation we go to single player and type prevviewmode. Not as good as pc ini obviously but it’s better then nothing. My best suggestion is yall buy ps5 and come to ps servers. Only thing u have to worry about is meshers../ lower structure limit… and a million bluescreens…. Aka crashes

das ist wie wenn du karte in die hand nimmst, versuchs mal selbst. deine geschwindigkeit vom tek gauntlet benutzen wird quasi nicht abgebremst sondern du fliegst so einfach weiter

Rota bro I love your videos I completely agree with the whole ini thingy I wasted years of my life playing this game if they could fix their game with the lighting for legit players and fix cheating id probably still be playing it but because they dont even enforce their own rules to ban cheaters I will never play this again unless they fix their game I also quit the game because of life and stuff and for health reasons I wasted to much time on this broken game its crazy

Hey R0ta bezüglich der INI muss ich sagen ich finds ganz nett dass sie mal versuchen was an ihrem game zu fixen aber bevor ich INI edits fixen würde würde ich mich an andere sachen setzten ;)

Ark should not allow 3rd party applications at all they should make their game all around brighter and I think that an FOV slider for us console gamers would be very nice. Xbox/win10 smalls is unplayable same with some dedis if the admins of the dedi aren’t online to deal with the situation quickly. Last time I played smalls on Xbox/win10 it took 2 days for wildcard to deal with the account who was attempting to mesh my base and aimbotting us. He then did a note run and came back as a level 75 or something and ripped our helmets off until we despawned everything in our base.

going after a basi with a tuso LEL, its like no one knows how a bary and a meg looks like. ini 100 % agreed its cause people never had to deal woth cancer like aimbot and speed dinos for weeks it took us 4 weeks till the devs came and wiped the cheaters on a server.
Ini is cheating, I also used Ini but I’m happy that they have removed it.
Ini changes make it so i cant play certain areas bcs shitt laptop + buff for cheaters... i see that they dont like it but people that want still gona use ini and people just trying to play ark will be at an bigger disadvantage

I bet there's an element of ark 2 in the INI changes. They probably don't want INI in ark 2 and a lot of the code might be the same. So they are testing it on ark 1 for ban detection and general patch purposes.

@@Bladezz yeah they are updating ark to UE5 and apparently the coding is so similar, they won't even have to wipe servers and all official progress will be kept.. unfortunately. There's likely significant crossover between ark 2 and ark 1 in terms of code and assets.
