    Just bought one for €480. This thing pulls like a train and I mean it as I’ve always had bigger engines and it’s so nimble and agile

    i want to get the Seat Ibiza1.2 12V Reference from 2009 is it good for work and how is the fuel consumption on the highway

    • @automotivetvchannel
      @automotivetvchannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Seat Ibiza 1.2 12V Reference from 2009 is a compact car that offers decent performance and fuel efficiency. As a basic trim level, it provides essential features without many luxury or advanced options. Here are some key points to consider regarding its suitability for work and fuel consumption on the highway:
      Work Use: The Ibiza 1.2 12V Reference can be a suitable car for work, especially if you primarily need it for commuting or driving in urban areas. It has a compact size, which makes it easy to maneuver in traffic and park in tight spaces. However, if you require a larger cargo capacity or often need to transport multiple passengers, you might find the Ibiza's space limitations restrictive.
      Engine Performance: The 1.2-liter 12V engine in the Ibiza Reference offers modest power output, which is adequate for daily commuting and light work-related tasks. It's not a high-performance engine, so if you require significant acceleration or power for your work, you might want to consider a more powerful engine option.
      Fuel Consumption on the Highway: The fuel consumption of a vehicle can vary depending on factors such as driving style, road conditions, and maintenance. However, generally speaking, the Seat Ibiza 1.2 12V Reference from 2009 has a reasonably good fuel economy, particularly for city driving. On the highway, it can achieve an average fuel consumption of around 40-45 miles per gallon (MPG) or approximately 17-19 kilometers per liter (KPL). These figures are estimates and can vary based on various factors, including speed and driving conditions.
      It's worth noting that as the car is from 2009, it's essential to consider its overall condition, maintenance history, and mileage when making a purchasing decision. Additionally, if fuel efficiency is a crucial factor for your work, you may want to compare the Ibiza 1.2 12V Reference with other newer models or consider alternative fuel-efficient options such as hybrid or electric vehicles.

      @@automotivetvchannel how far do you think could i drive on the highway with one tank

    • @automotivetvchannel
      @automotivetvchannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@seezy1342 If we assume an average fuel consumption of 17 kilometers per liter (KPL) on the highway,and considering a fuel tank capacity of approximately 45 liters, you can expect to drive around 765 kilometers on one full tank.
      However, it's important to note that this estimate is based on average figures and may vary depending on driving conditions, vehicle maintenance, and individual driving habits. It's always a good practice to monitor your actual fuel consumption and adjust your expectations accordingly. Consulting the car's manual or contacting the manufacturer for specific information on fuel consumption and range can provide more accurate details for your particular model.

    Dull driving. Wanted to see how the little engine performs on the motorway!

    • @stentorian
      @stentorian ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I know this comment is a year old but I've got the 3 door version of this as my first car in the UK and I have to say it performs quite well on the motorway. Due to it being a 5 speed, it can be a little noisy, but it's bearable and even in 5th gear, you can accelerate from 70mph to 80mph to overtake. I got about 400 miles out of a full tank as well, even with the occasional driving like an idiot that everyone does when they get their first car and are unsupervised. I had to buy a new coolant tank for it and it's only cost me £20 and I fit it myself with my brother. It's a very nice car and even if I had the money to buy something better, I'd probably stick with it as it's reliable and gets me where I need to go without putting up a fuss.
