Use the reverse polarity trick if you can find a karaoke. Otherwise use iZotope RX-7 or something. That's what I use. You can also throw it through iZotope VocalSynth. This is a very difficult song to do because of all the leads and saws in the background. This acapella needs to be put through de-noise filter though.
mhm it sounds more like at that parts the audio couldn't be extracted as clean from the instrumental, it probably isn't that distorted in the clean audio
You can hear the male voices in the original too if you have a good audio setup (or just good headphones/earbuds) that's my favourite part about trying different headphones you notice stuff you didn't before.
