I bought this on a whim during the 2023 Christmas sale and ended up spending nearly 30 hours on it. It's a slow burner that's serious, melancholic and classy in tone in the way a good crime drama ought to be. Loved it, one of the best indie games of 2023.

@@35infinite I think starting with fading afternoon is a good move. It was awesome, but I truly think Ringo is a better rounded experience (though I did prefer FA’s setting and narrative).

not on consoles yet apparently... weird stone buddha and Ringo Ishikawa are also physical with English in Japan - they are also great games from the same devs I am sure this one will be ported too sooner or later.. hope so I really liked stone buddha
5:10 Well, mostly. The guy at the sandwich shop (at the Bar area) is holding onto a bag for Seiji. You can put money in it, give it back to the guy, then that money will be there in other playthroughs.

Sleeper game! It's really fun and you can tell the creator did a lot of work especially knowing it's just 1 person.

Aside from the aesthetic, what got me interested in this game was the judo and pro wrestling moveset.
Oh, are the moves pretty accurate? I barely know anything about martial arts or wrestling.
@@35infinite yes, the jacket grabs and joint locks are from judo, or Brazilian jiujitsu if you practice it that way.
