I'm a real advocate for drawing outdoors, (plein air), it's not easy but you can learn to develop compositions. Your video has brought more to light the development of composition, by the use of line. Great work, nice find with the book. There is a lot to learn from the previous generations of artist. It’s my understanding most of the “rules” of composition is largely based on what excites and attracts the human eye most.. maintain visual interest. That’s why they can be broken if done in such a way as to still achieve the results mentioned, by the viewer.
