      When people say someone died doing what they loved, they don't mean the literal part of dying, they mean the person was passionately pursuing something they loved, knowing the risks, when they died.

      Tragically fell into a deep glacial crevasse whilst filming an expedition on the Indian Himalayas 17/5/11.
      Rescue parties abandoned rescue or recovery as 'depth was insurmountable with no end in sight of the crevasse

      @Lauren Parvia Loves Sid The Sloth! Fell into a deep glacial crevasse while trekking the Indian Himalayas. I think that was the wrong date though. He died in May 2011 I think. On TH-cam Fandom it said he died in January 2012 and I saw 18 so I thought that was when he died. When he did I'm not sure though.

    He wanted to die, thus he died. Anyone with the desire to live does not dance in a grappled rope in the middle of the abyss. He was challenging death, and without any doubt, he was surprised he had not died earlier; he was close to doing so dozens of times before.

    • @Alexus095
      @Alexus095 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Nah he didn't want to die. He wanted to live. There's a difference netween living and merely existing. Anyonw who wants to live challenges death. And unless you stay at home 24/7 I'm pretty sure you do it as well. You just being a hypocrite here.

      @@Alexus095 Yeah, no that's not how it works. That's just a cool sounding definition you made up, but reality doesn't give a damn what sounds cooler. It cares about maths.
      Anyone who does this sort of job, and doesn't accept death is fooling himself. The ones who do this know that they risk dying at any moment, so when they die it's not really a sad thing honestly.
      There are 1000's of ways one can live and not just 'exist'. Risking your life is not the sole way that many people like you say it is.

    • @Alexus095
      @Alexus095 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ArunKumar-dv8zw oh shit it's been 4 years since I made this comment...anywho..whether you like it or not that's exactly how it works. If there's anything I couldn't care less about it's sounding cool. All I care about is reality and it's the reality that's you're not quite in tune with my dear sir )
      Most notably you don't quite understand what RISK means and how integral it is to any kind of meaningful existence. Risk means an activity that carries a probability of resulting in death or injury or whatever adversity. When you take a risk it's up to fate whether an adverse event happens or not. This guy right here sure took a risk. He took it every time he went on this rope. He could've survived, and he did survive such attempts before, but this time fate had another thing in store.
      Risks can be higher or lower but one thing is always the same - if you're lucky you survive, if not - BOOM. You're out of the box. Somebody who walks on rope like he did, or somebody who go to war, like all real men do at some point of their lives, is taking a big risk. Somebody who simply goes out to enjoy a nice summer day is taking a small risk. But it's a still a risk compared to staying indoors. And then it's only up to fate whether you return home safe and sound or KABOOM and you're in the same exact place that our rope walker reached. Whether it's the car that hit you or a guy who felt like starting shit with somebody or a pit on the loose - doesn't really matter. You took a risk and weren't lucky.
      Thus when you shame people for taking risks, like you do with my man right here, you don't do it out of wisdom, but you do it out of foolishness. Foolishness from either falsely thinking you don't take risks yourself or from thinking that your relatively small level of risk taking is truth (way of the pussy) or from being a hypocrite, ie taking big risks while shaming others for taking those same big risks. And either way your path of shaming and fearmongering is not a truth but a lie. Abandon lie oh Kumar, and embrace the truth. Cause even one second with truth worth an eternity with a lie. And ofcourse an eternity is something Kumar doesn't have either way. )
