Such an underrated track. It’s epic, but also has that somewhat mournful feel to it since you are essentially killing a newborn dragon because it’s existence is a threat, that of which it has absolutely no idea and is just fighting for survival in the few ways it knows how.

1:16 This hit in the soundtrack will forever hold a special place in my heart. I'll always remember this as one of the fondest and fucking coolest moments in a game online with my friends. I fought this thing for the first time with two of my best friends. I ran greatsword, and my buddies ran lance and heavy bowgun. We were in a bad spot when this thing got pissed. Right as the Xeno'jiiva was firing its giant fuckoff death nuke laser beam, my buddy Zach with the lance fucking *blocks it with his shield* and my friend Joe and I dove behind him while he literally TANKED this deletion beam. The best part of all, this happened RIGHT as the hit at 1:16 in the soundtrack came in. It still gives me shivers remembering it and how utterly awesome was. It literally felt like a movie. I love Xeno for its incredibly alien design. I love glowing blue. I love the fact that unlike other elder dragons, its hide is really soft. The fight against Xeno'Jiiva is themed around it possessing incredible power, hampered by inexperience and youth. It's skin hasn't had the time to adjust to the air. It is slowly learning how to move as it fights and doesn't even know what it itself is capable of. Safi'Jiiva takes Xeno'Jiiva and takes away the weaknesses. It is exactly what it should feel like: Xeno'Jiiva but no longer hampered by inexperience and youth. It brings all of the innate power Xeno'Jiiva has, and adds in experience, precision, steadiness, control, and understanding of its power. And for that Safi'Jiiva is my favourite fight in the game. Xeno's design however is better overall and also works in isolation. Safi'Jiiva relies on the contrast to Xeno'Jiiva to be interesting to me.
@@EmpereurTomidk if this is true but i heard somewhere that the difference between the xeno we fight and the safi we fight is that the xeno was an anomaly of its own species, an individual that absorbed enormous amounts of energy while safi is a regular individual. It would be fun if there was a subspecies of xeno’jiiva that just ramped up the difficulty to 1000 So basically what I’m saying is instead of just a permanently super critical state it has a cool unique feature where it can make ‘clones’ of itself not real ones of course, it just has such good control over bioenergy that it can make ghost like clones to confuse hunters like when it flies and returns to the ground it has two ways of doing so, so it will make a clone of itself doing one return to ground animation (the one where he flies towards the hunters and lands) and the actual xeno will be doing the other animation (the one where it just goes straight down that results in a tremor) or will be able to shoot two beams at once but the clone one does less damage I dub this subspecies “Echoing Xeno’Jiiva”
