THE BEST AND MOST HONEST REVIEW EVER!!! Absolutely fantastic, I think every car journalist can learn soooo much from her and car publications should recruit her. TOP MARKS
She clearly wants an SUV. She hasn’t changed. Your only hope is the Model Y which I happened to see in Las Vegas yesterday. I know the UK is waiting for right-hand drive.
Don't know if they've released pricing but judging by the mark up on the 3 from USA to UK, the Y will be up against some serious opposition. The Supercharger network will be about the only thing in its favour imo, otherwise its just a bloated 3 with 7 seat option (if you really, really need that option) and a hatchback rather than a boot. The 3 could have been improved by using a dual hinge boot like the Skoda Superb.
clansome Elon wanted that solid glass roof design. I think he knew the Model Y would be the more popular and practical vehicle so why not be different and compromise the rear opening. Like the saying goes for John Williams being half the success for Spielberg and Lucas films, I think the Supercharger network is the same for Tesla.
Mrs EV, the new TH-cam star - Nice honest video, I was/am after a Model 3, but Mrs EV makes some good points, may have to be the Model Y for when my family make me go to IKEA....
I would choose the model 3 to go to IKEA, furniture package are long rather than high. Everybody thought she is honest, but she is just defending the Kia, which she likes. Girls likes tall guys and tall cars:) Arguing SUV feels safer than the actual safest car in the world:D If I see crash videos high cars tend to roll over too often, which is far from safe.
@@laszlom.3138 I dont think you got her point, clearly your a Tesla fanboy and as your right defending Tesla but not everybody likes Tesla. I had a Merc clk with a very big and long boot with an opening similar to the 3 and trying to get anything in that was a bit big was impossible. That's why hatchbacks or SUV trump the model 3. I traded the Merc in for a MG EV, what a difference for carrying big items and BTW not all things from IKEA are flatpack. Oh and before I get the "you can't afford a 3" I was on the waiting list for a year at the beginning to get one but they wanted £38,500 and for a little bit of speed off the line not worth it, when they come down to around £25,000 then I'll consider one but by then we will have more choices to pick from.
Loved this video. Great interplay between your family. Real insights into what matters in a car. I had similar discussions when looking at the Tesla model 3 and Kia e-Niro. We ended up buying the Kia and we're very happy with it. Your best video yet and funny too.
Tesla 3 it's a good car but the e-niro is more convenient for a family. Yes the driving it's better in the 3 but if you want to go to the cottage and pack all yours things the e-niro is better. We are shopping of an EV and the more I analyse the more the e-niro makes more sense for our family. Good job on your videos and you should take your family more often on reviews, they give a real opinion.
One of the best videos I’ve seen! I am a EV advocate and at the same time a Tesla fan, your wife’s opinion represents most of the driving public, that’s why millions of ice are sold and the Niro is available in ICE, plug in hybrid and in some places full electric. I understand her point if view and I realize Teslas are not for everyone, and may be too expensive (I have an order for a Model 3 SR+ and is still gonna be a lot for my family’s budget ). When you said the E-Niro looks like a Hippo I lmao! Not a cool car IMO. But most people really just want a good car to do the things they need to do in life and don’t care about cool or tech. But at least some of those people (like your family) are a least driving an EV and that what’s really important. Please thank your wife for a very detailed and honest review!(I love it when she saying it’s not very special but then “ can I drive it? 😁😁😁)
Makes me rethink about how I rate a car , with more of a focus on its practical day to day use, reliability and less about its brand name and fancy tech.
People who work at Tesla should watch videos like these to learn from genuine customer feedback. If I remember right she even owns shares in TSLA. Every negative aspect she mentioned here are based on factual reasoning.
The majority of people just want to go from A to B. The Tesla 3 just gets in the way of that. The central pad should be banned in UK. Wonder how it got type approval. EDIT Actually it should be banned fullstop in every country it's a gimmick, nothing more. Its presence takes the 3 off my list of possible EV's.
Clansome. Changes are inevitable, all need testing in real world. Many positive aspects to model 3 interface. With your attitude we'd still be driving buggies pulled by tractors.
@@clansome Yes, let's design a wicked car. Hmm, we forgot the speedo and other stuff like that. Never mind, stick an iPad on the middle of the dashlessboard, some velcro or blacktak should fix it.
Great video - thank you. I do feel more comforted that I ordered my e-Niro and collect next week as I agree with most - if not all - of your wife's comments. I also smiled and laughed many times: "I should get paid for this!"
Bellissimo , watching a man’s dreams destroyed. Check the speed “what’s the point” , I love it. This man knows his place but all in all a cracking video.
This is such a heart warming review video. I would watch this in a movie theater. Your wife is a perfect reviewer. Your daughter is a million bucks. You’re a lucky man!
Refreshing to hear the opinion of someone who is not an EV Geek. In my opinion Tesla is supposed to be the ultimate EV, but listening the practicality of a woman driver I might have to change my opinion somewhat.
Loved this video, your wife and daughter are awesome and made this so much better than any solo review could be. Also more useful for any father's debating their next EV (myself included!)
Absolutely brilliant! I love the family view. Very sobering. Helps to not get carried away. My wife would be similar too! Definitely appreciate lots of opinions. More please 👍
Flaviana Till knowledge share obviously likes his partner to be a conformist. I personally like my partner to have character, perhaps why I feel lucky to have a lovely Italian gf. Really like the family review, it makes it real and balanced from everyone’s perspective. We just put a deposit down for a eNiro 4+ 😀 but in boring graphite and not the more gregarious white which my gf wanted.
Great video, thanks. So funny and brutally honest. You really tried valiantly but you were up against 2 unstoppable opponents. At the end, you looked like a defeated boxer after a grueling 12 rounder 😁
Hi Andrew, the feedback from your wife was destroying the image of Tesla but in a nice way. The question is, what was her expectation and what is her demand to an Ev. In my opinion the are several criteria on which Tesla is unbeatable on the market such as driving dynamic, acceleration, the supercharger network which allows you to cross Europe without having to think about charging cards, provider apps and compatibility with the charging station, the autopilot function, the over the air updates to get the car better during the time and not having it stopped to the development level it had at the moment you buyed it and so on. If you travel long distances often, you might listen all the time Spotify and charge a lot on the way and during the charging stops you watch for instance Netflix. None of these features compared to other EVs on the market were mentioned in your review so your wife does not seam to do and need all these stuff or she might not know that the Tesla offers them. If that is the case, she needs a "normal" EV not a very future oriented computer on wheels which will never match her expectations. I drove a lot Ioniq electric and different Teslas and once you are familiar with these features, you never want to miss them again. As I sad, if they are important for you. Flaviana, mi mancano emotioni 😃👍
Really enjoyed this. Refreshing and honest. The Tesla has many positives but the negatives are deal breakers for me. It's taken simplicity too far. Needs knobs for the climate control, needs an arm for the wipers, needs a HUD, needs ventilated seats and a heat pump. The Niro 4+ has to be the best value EV to buy however I will wait to see what VW / Skoda have to offer before I put my money down. On a personal note what a delightful family you are. Her accent and laugh are a joy.
As I have similar conversations with my wife where 2/3rds of objections/wants are demonstrably incorrect I can say with confidence that she had already decided she didn't like it either when she first saw it (before examining it) or possibly even before that and nothing was going to change her mind. I do agree with her on the boot opening vs a hatchback, that's what we ultimately bought a model Y but there is more tolal space in the Tesla. She clearly likes sitting up high in an SUV and feels safer even though SUV's are statistically more unsafe than cars, an amazing marketing trick by auto makers...
I agree with the misses on the space to carry stuff. Also the cabin space differ dramatically. Especially if this is the only car the family has access to. Hence I picked the Niro over the M3. Not regretting it for a second (15 mo and 28000km now)
First time I've viewed a TH-cam video by you. I absolutely love your wife's Italian accent, Italian hand gestures, and sporadic breaking into Italian language. Great personality!
I liked the kia too, till I drove the car, considered the range, considered the supercharging network (and lack thereof), considered the price in five years, considered how comfortable the car is, considered the sound system, and considered the handling. Otherwise, the Kia is great.
I agree with the Superchargers - they really can’t be beaten; nor can the sat nav and interface in general - but the sound system and comfort for passengers I both found to be better in the e-Niro, actually. As for handling, I don’t think there’s much in it. We’ll see about the price although there’s so much demand for the e-Niro, I think they’ll hold their value very well - perhaps even better than the Model 3 as there will be so many more of them on the second hand market. Both fantastic cars anyway and I’m just happy EV buyers are starting to get such a good choice.
@@MrEV Even if I agreed with you on the other issues (which I don't, comfort really?) how can you go on a road trip without being able to recharge in a reasonable time? To me not having a network to recharge in a fast time is a deal breaker, because I need to do road trips.
'It's like a little gadget, this is a proper car'. I love you Mrs EV !!!. Attractive, intelligent, oozing class and style, and right on the money with her summary.
Great video EV family! Very refreshing to see/hear a truly honest opinion based on their individual and family practicalities....wonderful! I did feel for you though....really really wanting Mrs EV to see the fabulous qualities of a Tesla but ultimately thwarted by her unwavering instincts for a family size vehicle with commanding driving position....Good for you Flaviana! Btw, the number of fingers and "just over a fist" measuring system was interesting? and very funny! Please keep them coming.
Mrs Till - 'The Tesla looks like a toy car whilst the Kia looks fun and big and nice and chunky' Your response 'Don't you think the Kia looks like a Hippo?' Tesla fan boy just trying too hard. Am I gonna live in it or am I gonna drive it....Brilliant!
"Am I going to live in it or am I going to drive?" 😂 I love Tesla Motors, but you nailed that one! My wife also tried both and chose the Kia for the same reasons. She is an artist and gardener and wanted an SUV with more clearance for a problem driveway. Great video, I'm sending it to her phone. 👍
Wonderful ...... a completely honest and practical view of the real car versus the techno car. I'm sure they're both excellent but I think your wife has got it spot on. People moving from an internal combustion engined car into an EV will definitely feel more at home in the e-Niro.
As long as u like ur car. I love my model 3 and have an order for model y. I use autopilot everyday and user experience is just amazing. No other brand can match that.
Brilliant video, I think this sums up the differences between men and women the British reserve and Italian passion all in one go! She does make some good points though and I love her forthright mannerisms even if some of them are objective for the sake of it. I feel your pain as I am trying to convince my wife on the model 3 front but she is preferring the E-Niro which may not be a bad thing as your partner has so eloquently described.
I'm totally agree with your wife , also for me Tesla is nothing special, is just a marketing. Especially model 3 can't drive in heavy rain lol. Try find out how many trouble people have with this toy.
I am a model 3 owner and think it is the best car ever however I enjoyed Flaviania’s honest review and her unabashed comments as well as your slightly disappointed reactions.
I agree with your wife. All cars are ok in the front seats, it’s the back seat and the trunk that makes the differense. Kia eNiro is good, but I would like an all electric Kia Optima Sports Wagon with a tow hitch.
What a refreshingly practical, to-the-point and normal person's view. This is likely the best M3 review amongst a sea of male-focused, fanboi gadget lover videos out there. Thank you both for taking the time to film!
Brilliant. It's something seeing the fan/informed/ view and that of someone who is the opposite - and I mean this in the most polite way. Like seeing the totally opposite viewpoints to the car. I have a feeling that someone will be driving one car more and someone else will be driving the other. This is an honest and frank viewpoint - it's a welcome perspective. EDIT* Oh my, the ending of this is comedy gold. Mrs EV's opinions are gold - especially "Am I going to live in it, or drive it" to ad-lib.
Hilarious video, very typical! He: ‘shall we look at the boot?' She: 'Why?' 🤣🤣 Greatings from a Kia E-Niro owner who is married to a wife who is not interested in cars and gadgets either.
What a splendid review with most pertinent observations from Flavianna. It’s very refreshing challenge from the practical point of view, although a Model Y would even the playing field. It love to see the episode, “when Elon met Flavianna!” 😂
What a suspenseful ending, Flaviana put you on the spot! What do you think, Andrew? You never say, you are just diplomatic, you don't want to upset your viewers?
My wife actually sat down and watched this, and we came to the unanimous conclusion (for what it's worth;), that the Y will be just the ticket. Both your wife and daughter looked animated when looking round the M3. Once you become familiar with the Tesla, you realise it's all how it should be, and that it is most definitely a proper car. Especially when the supercharger network is taken into account for those long trips to Italy. Great video anyway, a lot of fun.
The Model X is still Flaviana’s favourite car but I agree the Model Y is probably going to be the most suitable. I just have to convince her that we don’t need a dashboard... 😀
Brilliant review, it's watching a man's dreams get crushed by his wife.

Girls likes tall guys and tall cars:)
Arguing SUV feels safer than the actual safest car in the world:D
If I see crash videos high cars tend to roll over too often, which is far from safe.
Agree Laszio. The argument that higher feels safer needs to be refuted with fact.
Thanks so much, Adrian!
Best review of a Tesla ever (She dares to say things others do not) it was a joy to watch ....Thankyou
I love this review. So honest, love the response from your family!
@@pierre-de-standing Market forces. If people prefer it, then more will be like it. If people don't, then they dont. But, you never know until you try
Great video - thank you. I do feel more comforted that I ordered my e-Niro and collect next week as I agree with most - if not all - of your wife's comments. I also smiled and laughed many times: "I should get paid for this!"
Thank you Andrew! As great as the Model 3 is, you certainly won’t regret the e-Niro.
Definitely the best EV review I've seen (and I've watched a lot). Had me laughing out loud dozens of times. Thank you for making and releasing this. 👍
Thanks Craig! I'll try to drag in Flaviana for a few more EV reviews in 2021.
@@MrEV Yes please! 🤠
Bellissimo , watching a man’s dreams destroyed. Check the speed “what’s the point” , I love it. This man knows his place but all in all a cracking video.
I love it when she turns the camera on you. I can see that you really love each other.
Your wife needs a Tesla Model Y! I love Flaviana, because she is brutally honest, there is no holding back how she really feels about things
I sounds like she needs an e-Niro.
Thanks so much!
Best, most useful, most realistic, car review ever!!! Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Just love Flaviana! All I can say is that we have two EV's in our house and my wife has the Kia e-Nero. Happy wife, happy life!
Absolutely brilliant! I love the family view. Very sobering. Helps to not get carried away. My wife would be similar too! Definitely appreciate lots of opinions. More please 👍
Mid life crisis Vs Mrs EV. That was the best and most honest review of two cars ever. Please do lots more. Excellent content as usual
Thanks, Ian! I’ll be sure to change my channel name to Mr. Mid-life Crisis. 😃
*tests the speed* “yeah...what’s the point?”😂
Flaviana is amazing and I must say I agree with her.
@knowledge share I know, right? What a bitch! 😂
Flaviana Till .... haha. Great reply. Well done lady xx...... loved the video. Thank you
Can tell you really fancy buying the Tesla but you’ve been completely out number
You’ve got no chance she’s definitely not having it
Mrs EV is VERY Italian, she's brilliant!
That’s the most honest review of a car I have ever seen. Well done 👍. Andrew should pay you for this .
Don’t give her any ideas! 😃
Andrew Till / Mr. EV Just get the Tesla and keep the Nero as well. Problem solved. Great video, congratulations.
She's almost perfectly describing a Model Y without having even seen it yet.
Mr.EV needs a Model Y for the weekend :)
Great video, thanks.
So funny and brutally honest.
You really tried valiantly but you were up against 2 unstoppable opponents.
At the end, you looked like a defeated boxer after a grueling 12 rounder 😁
Absolutely brilliant well done the Family........
Thanks so much!
”But this, is a better car.”
Drops the mike and leaves... 😜 Your beautiful wife is as honest as it gets. 😊👍🏻
You guys need to review every EV! I was always on edge thinking that Flaviana might slap you.
*Welcome to my life* 😃
As I have similar conversations with my wife where 2/3rds of objections/wants are demonstrably incorrect I can say with confidence that she had already decided she didn't like it either when she first saw it (before examining it) or possibly even before that and nothing was going to change her mind.
Not regretting it for a second (15 mo and 28000km now)
Have you noticed battery degradation? Can be obtained using OBD reader and EVnotify?
First time I've viewed a TH-cam video by you. I absolutely love your wife's Italian accent, Italian hand gestures, and sporadic breaking into Italian language. Great personality!
Kia should use this video to promote their car :D . Great family, nice to see a down to earth review of the Tesla ;)
They could spin it like : I’m a mac , i’m a pc
Only 5 minutes in and this is amazing.. This all sounds very familiar to my wife's reactions
Another gem of a video Andy and I love reading the comments...keep it up, try to get a Xpeng P7
As a geek, I must say that you had a perfect linear combination. May your family be happy all the time.
Another great video. A dry opinions with cold humour fantastic. Keep up the good work.
HaHa Loved the abrupt end. Did your good lady cut you off mid appraisal? You really should do more like this, so entertaining. Top viewing! :)
I agree with your wife. All cars are ok in the front seats, it’s the back seat and the trunk that makes the differense. Kia eNiro is good, but I would like an all electric Kia Optima Sports Wagon with a tow hitch.
One of the best car reviews I've seen. Brutally honest. More reviews by Mrs EV please.
What a refreshingly practical, to-the-point and normal person's view. This is likely the best M3 review amongst a sea of male-focused, fanboi gadget lover videos out there. Thank you both for taking the time to film!
Thank you!
I laughed out loud at that!
@@AbuDhabiDude Same lol
Why indeed, life is too short.
I always go for boot first these days. Exciting life.
I am now a bit concerned that she started to call the car Robert......may be she’ll divorce me and marry Robert.........The Niro......🤦🏻♂️
What a splendid review with most pertinent observations from Flavianna. It’s very refreshing challenge from the practical point of view, although a Model Y would even the playing field. It love to see the episode, “when Elon met Flavianna!” 😂
F: What's your opinion Andrew?
A: Well, I don't know...
What I know Andrew, is who is wearing the pants 😂
Krisja , he only had one question and blew it 😂😂😂
I think he was genuinely rethinking his opinion on the Tesla after that onslaught of frankly practical objections
But what Andrew meant though is that he is torn between them. Both have their (dis)advantages, and it is hard to decide between them
She’s Italian, what do you expect? THEY always are the family bosses. One smile‘s enough... 😉
Btw your wife has a lovely Italian accent. I can hear the passion 👍🏼
"The Tesla is a nice little gadget but the e-Niro is a proper car." Bang on, in a nutshell. Brilliant.
What a suspenseful ending, Flaviana put you on the spot! What do you think, Andrew? You never say, you are just diplomatic, you don't want to upset your viewers?
23:15 "Where's my remote to make it go forward and back?"
Well... there's an app for that. 😆
@@MrEV Good luck.
