Looking forward to trying this build. Also taking the principle of a 3 CC SCV cut to the dreaded Protoss. “The nation who mobilises first is like the duelist who draws a second early in a duel”
I looked up the word “Zerg” in an encyclopedia. It’s ancient Ethiopian originating from a Nubian word during the Nubian conquest of Egypt. It translates as “win-button”.
I play this opening every TvZ.. but SO MANY Zergs, right at the 3:15 mark, rock up with 4-6 lings and just outright kill the marine, the fresh mule, he SCVs building the depot, the SCV mining and sometimes the teaper which is trying to defend it all as well. The first Hellions haven't popped yet. If my reaper survives it usually only picks off 1 or 2 lings while all my stuff dies.
Usually that shouldn't be possible because their speed won't be done and the reaper can kite them all the way across the map. But if you're being super passive with your reaper than they might feel confident coming across. You could solve this by investing some stuff into practicing the reaper multitask, or alternatively just microing when they show up and keeping that mule drop in the main base.
thank you so much this will help me so much I dont understand why but i cant play terran my zerg and protoss are really good but not my terran so thank you
Not *once* have I been able to pull this off. Every zerg is opening with roaches to defend or roaches as an all-in off 3 bases, which hits faster than this. Kinda sucks because I was hoping to try this out. I'm wondering if the meta has shifted around this already.
If your opponent is doing something like a 41 drone roach all in without evos then theres no need to attack. You have a 3rd and 1-1 on the way or done. You are just winning
i just started sc2. My friend is platinum and likes to play zerg all the times.I will try this tactic against him and surprise him. Just only played 5 games in sc2, im learning. thanks for the vid.
There are a few different variations of roach all ins/pressures. There's like a 17-17 -> roach allin. That one hits super fast and needs a specific response. There's also a normal hatch first -> roach all in. And there's railgans 3 roach pressure. And there's also a 2 base saturated version that hits around 5:00. Which version are you playing against?
@@HuShang I see sir but I am not yet too good at scouting my opponent. I just do my best zig zagging in the center of the map to see if roaches do come. I also die to ravager early if I go hellions sometimes. I am Diamond 3 in Korea, but D1 in US. I guess, my intention is, why are you not afraid of roaches when playing hellion banshee. Thanks for replying.
@@rogerherrera4485 the banshees are done in time for the later ones. You need to identify which build it is, they have different responses. You cant generalize to roach all in. Just start checking the replay
Hey hushang when scouting with reaper and u see 2 base. Do you immediately drop bunker and go into tank? . If you see normal expansion at what timing do u sacrifice reaper for all in roach scout
early pools you can play a bit more safe. 2 base with a normal hatch though is pretty normal so you don't need to make any reactions until it's past a normal 3rd timing. Check for shenanigans before speed finishes @3:30
HuShang Tutorials so if you send reaper in 3:30 and see lair-> muta . If you see nest then ling bane . If you see roach warren then roach ravager all in? . My question is if you see 3 base like normal and went in with reaper to scout at 3:30 and see nothing . But he have a bunch of lings , is that normal? Or the zerg just didn’t know what to do and really behind? Im in silver and that was maybe the case majority of time. Somehow low level cheese alot more...
Don't worry too much about the scouting in silver because your opponents aren't playing optimally. Instead focus on basic scouting & making sure you're making as many units as me in the early game and you should be able to survive the majority of the time. Basic scouting = make sure they opened with an economic build, otherwise add a bunker.
HuShang Tutorials thank you so much sir. Basically when in doubt( smell cheese, late expansion) just wall and drop bunker? With the amount of 2 base mutas lately its really feel like i need to create turret quick sometimes. ...
Now this is probably really stupid, but I usually get run over with these types of pushes because zerg spams lings earlier for no reason Is it ok to lose the push because they're putting themselves behind anyways? If not, how do you not lose it?
I want a guide on controlling late game protoss armies with varied comps. Guardian shield, storm, disruptor ball, force field, blink, kite, keep your templar safe and in useful spots, warp in and add to control group... idunno how protoss is known as an a-move race :/
haha yeah for sure dood, there's lots you could do. Try to keep it simple is my advice for now :) just do the most important things that have the biggest impact. Ill keep this video idea in mind though :)
Because in WoL you'd have a bunch of colossi, with a few immortals, with stalkers/zealots to tank. You a-moved this death-ball into things which just fucking died. Remember that the Dead Sea came into existance with the launch of LotV, when immortals were no longer invulnerable to tanks...
Diamond 2 terran here. I was just wondering if you know some sort trick that will throw my opponents off guard and take me to diamond 1. Been struggling quite a bit but I can’t really point out a specific problem I am experiencing.
Hey Moses! You shouldn't really need any sort of trick to get you to Diamond 1. There's something big you're missing, might be a simple fix but could change your position in games a lot. Can you join the discord server and put a replay in the analysis series section?
This buildshake brings all the boys to the yard and their like its better than yours damn right it's better then yours I could teach you but I'd have to charge... I'm gonna practice this tho for real
Why is almost everyone with a tvz build "proves" proof of concept against the easy AI? And they never seem to work against people? Hmmm. It's almost as if they just want to make content. Regardless of actual effectiveness... cloaked banshees have given me far more success than any build I've found from.creators. Sorry creator. It's just the truth

Looking forward to the rest of the series! Would also love to see your thinking on multi-pronged attacks - when, how, and with what!

that makes sense :'(

Can you do more series like this where you demonstrate the build order in the next parts after teaching it? For tvp and tvt

Hey man, where can i find the build order for this?
love these. cant wait for part 2

Hi HuShang, but my Diamond 3 hands dies to aggressive roach all-ins, if I make those helions, how can I figure out if it is roaches? Thanks.

Did you lose your hellions and/or start stim late? I think these factors make it hard to move out early safely

what is so "hyper aggressive" here? it`s a typical timing attack, not even the early one...

the fourth and fifth rax are a lot faster than usual and scv production is halted after the third-ish
