For the past few years I have been buying 70’s movies and tv shows. I bought Mary Tyler Moore, All in the Family, Rhoda, and Bob Newhart. It’s a way to keep those memories alive for me

Same here! They no longer make a color to match my skin. I guess they think everyone is dark at Leggs company. I called and asked could I find the sun tan color of the 70's. People are doing everything that we did walking to or driving to over their phones. What happened to shopping for food and cooking. I like to know every ingredient that i am eating. I grew up in the 80s and yes, commercials were way more straightforward and what they are trying to advertise and they seem to be today… It’s kind of like reading a book before you get to go see the movie of the book… You already have an idea of what’s going on… I think that’s preferable to just going to some movie that doesn’t have any book related to it although lots of things that are coming out these days have audio description and that makes things really interesting but yeah, I agree with you about older commercials much easier to sort out what’s going on and what they’re trying to advertise
