I have an honest and sincere question for my dear Catholic brethren: I have been trying to comprehend in what manner the Holy Mass is a “sacrifice”. When the priest consecrates the bread & wine along with the prayers of the congregation, is that what entails the “sacrifice”? When Jesus said, Do this in remembrance of Me” he meant Holy Communion was a sacrifice? Please help me understand dear friends. Thank you for your kindness.
Obviously you have not read Jimmy’s writings. He mentions than he knew that at least on a symbolic level that separating the body and blood was a sacrifice. I believe you’d find this on his cin webpages.
